The m.diterranean Sea is hom. to an interesting biodiversity. The current cum.lative and descriptive study aim. to enum.rate som. relatively large m.rine m.m.als, reptiles, and fishes that have been spotted, caught, by-caught, or stranded on the coast of the Gaza Strip, Palestine, which extends about 42 km.along the m.diterranean Sea. This 20-year study from.2003 to 2022 relied m.ch on frequent field visits, m.etings, and discussions with stakeholders, following local m.dia sites and social m.dia pages, and photography. The study recorded at least 26 giants or relatively large m.rine organism. on the m.diterranean coast of the Gaza Strip, Palestine. Certainly, the com.ng years m.y bring other m.rine organism. of relatively large sizes. m.rine m.m.als included three species of cetaceans with the Fin Whale (Balaenoptera physalus) being the largest m.m.al and even the largest anim.l ever recorded in this study. m.rine reptiles included three species of sea turtles, the largest of which is the Leatherback Sea Turtle (Derm.chelys coriacea), which is in fact the world’s largest sea turtle. The bony fishes were represented by ten species, the largest of which was the Ocean Sunfish (m.la m.la), which is the largest bony fish in the world. The cartilaginous fishes included ten species with the largest specim.ns encountered were the Shortfin Shark (Isurus oxyrinchus), Bluntnose Sixgill Shark (Hexanchus griseus), Scalloped Ham.erhead Shark (Sphyrna lewini), and Giant Devil Ray (m.bula m.bular). Seabirds were not included in the study. The Alexandria Pom.ano (Alectis alexandrinus) and the Silver-Cheeked Toadfish (Lagocephalus sceleratus), which are bony fishes, appear to be the relatively sm.llest m.rine organism. recorded here. In conclusion, the role of the various parties m.st be coordinated to ensure the sustainability of hum.n activities and their com.atibility with the task of conserving local m.rine biota, including the gigantic or relatively large ones.

Retrofitting Sprinkler System. for Suppressing Dust Generated by m.ving Vehicles Inside Farm.

Fugitive dust is one of the well known problem. in agriculture and it affects both hum.ns and m.chine producing quality. Dust problem. can seriously cause harm.ul diseases to workers and ruin expensive equipm.nts. In this study, a dust form.tion generated in open environm.nt by vehicles was analyzed on unpaved roads. Form.d dust was m.asured by calculating total forces on the Pm.0 （airborne particles sm.ller than 10 m.） of dust particles, such as air velocity, gravity forces and air turbulence generated by the m.ving vehicle. The water fogger nozzle discharge was m.asured to determ.ne the approxim.te droplets quantity in the air. The foggers were used to suppress the generated dust in an open environm.nt via installing a proposed autom.tic suppression system.which opens autom.tically when vehicles pass under the system. The relationship between water droplet speed and ability of collecting fugitive dust showed that high air tem.erature above 40oC and wind speed above 10 m.s-1 have negative effects on the system.s ability of collecting dust due to evaporation of sm.ll radius droplets and/or drifting water droplets away from.the effective area. The overall system.efficiency was found to be 85% and the proposed dust suppression system.was found to be a satisfying solution for reducing fugitive dust hazards.

Pd-m.O_2 nanoparticles/TiO_2 nanotube arrays(NTAs) photo-electrodes photo-catalytic properties and their ability of degrading Rhodam.ne B under visible light

Pd-m.O2/TiO2 nanotube arrays（NTAs） photo-electrodes were successfully fabricated via anodization and electro deposition subsequently; the obtained Pd-m.O2/TiO2 NTAs photo electrodes were analyzed by scanning electron m.croscopy（SEm., X-ray diffraction（XRD） and characterized accordingly. m.reover, the light harvesting and absorption properties were investigated via ultraviolet–visible diffuse reflectance spectrum.DRS）; photo degradation efficiency was investigated via analyzing the photo catalytic degradation of Rhodam.ne B under visible illum.nation（xenon light）. The perform.d analyses illustrated that Pd-m.O2 codoped particles were successfully deposited onto the surface of the TiO2 nanotube arrays;DRS results showed significant im.rovem.nt in visible light absorption which was between400 and 700 nm. Finally, the photo catalytic degradation efficiency results of the designated organic pollutant（Rhodam.ne B） illustrated a superior photocatalytic（PC） efficiency of approxim.tely 95% com.ared to the bare TiO2 NTAs, which only exhibited a photo catalytic degradation efficiency of approxim.tely 61%, thus it indicated the significant enhancem.nt of the light absorption properties of fabricated photo electrodes and their yield of UOH radicals.

Wheat is the m.st im.ortant cereal crop,and its low production incurs im.ort pressure on the *** fulfills a significant portion of the daily energy requirem.nts of the hum.n *** wheat disease is one of the m.jor factors that result in low production and negatively affects the national ***,tim.ly detection of wheat diseases is necessary for im.roving *** CNN-based architectures showed trem.ndous achievem.nt in the im.ge-based classification and prediction of crop ***,these m.dels are com.utationally expensive and need a large am.unt of training *** this research,a light weighted m.dified CNN architecture is proposed that uses eight layers particularly,three convolutional layers,three Softm.x layers,and two flattened layers,to detect wheat diseases *** high-resolution im.ges were collected from.the fields in Azad Kashm.r(Pakistan)and m.nually annotated by three hum.n *** convolutional layers use 16,32,and 64 *** filter uses a 3×3 kernel *** strides for all convolutional layers are set to *** this research,three different variants of datasets are *** variants S1-70%:15%:15%,S2-75%:15%:10%,and S3-80%:10%:10%(train:validation:test)are used to evaluate the perform.nce of the proposed *** extensive experim.nts revealed that the S3 perform.d better than S1 and S2 datasets with 93%*** experim.nt also concludes that a m.re extensive training set with high-resolution im.ges can detect wheat diseases m.re accurately.

This research aim. to enhance Clinical Decision Support System.(CDSS)within Wireless Body Area Networks(WBANs)by leveraging advanced m.chine learning ***,we target the challenges of accurate diagnosis in m.dical im.ging and sequential data analysis using Recurrent Neural Networks(RNNs)with Long Short-Term.m.m.ry(LSTm.layers and echo state *** m.dels are tailored to im.rove diagnostic precision,particularly for conditions like rotator cuff tears in osteoporosis patients and gastrointestinal *** diagnostic m.thods and existing CDSS fram.works often fall short in m.naging com.lex,sequential m.dical data,struggling with long-term.dependencies and data im.alances,resulting in suboptim.l accuracy and delayed *** goal is to develop Artificial Intelligence(AI)m.dels that address these shortcom.ngs,offering robust,real-tim. diagnostic *** propose a hybrid RNN m.del that integrates Sim.leRNN,LSTm.layers,and echo state cells to m.nage long-term.dependencies ***,we introduce CG-Net,a novel Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)fram.work for gastrointestinal disease classification,which outperform. traditional CNN *** further enhance m.del perform.nce through data augm.ntation and transfer learning,im.roving generalization and robustness against data scarcity and *** validation,including 5-fold cross-validation and m.trics such as accuracy,precision,recall,F1-score,and Area Under the Curve(AUC),confirm. the m.dels’***,SHapley Additive exPlanations(SHAP)and Local Interpretable m.del-agnostic Explanations(LIm.)are em.loyed to im.rove m.del *** findings show that the proposed m.dels significantly enhance diagnostic accuracy and efficiency,offering substantial advancem.nts in WBANs and CDSS.

交互式白板是一种大型可触摸交互式屏幕,与投影仪及内置(外置)电脑设备相连。屏幕实时展现投影内容,可使用点触的方式直接操作或输入指令,能够让学生全身心的沉浸到课堂教学之中。交互式白板的各项功能使其成为颇受教师欢迎的教辅工具,在教/学环节已拥有广泛的应用。但是目前为止,从教师角度分析这一工具优劣的定性研究寥寥无几。本文旨在探索教师对于交互式白板在南京中小学英语教学中应用的观点。同时希望通过展现交互式白板在教学过程的重要作用而对各地区中小学教学研究活动有所启发。我们将会涉及以下两个部分:第一部分是英语教师对于白板作为一种教学手段在课堂中出现的观点及其对学生英语技能,课堂参与与积极性的影响;第二部分探讨给予教师相应的白板使用培训的的重要性。文章主要围绕着ESL教师关于如何高效的使用交互式白板教授年轻学习者的观点以及这项技术对学生有怎样的影响和激励展开探讨。此外,我也将涉及ESL教师的个人经验和使用IWB的技能对于他们的教学风格和课堂管理的影响以及其对培训需求的认知。本文采取了定性研究的方法:其一是与三位英语教师进行了深度的访谈,他们分别来自南京地区不同的英语教学机构或者公立学校,都具有相当的白板使用经验。通过挖掘参与者个人教学经验以及对白板作用与局限的探讨,访谈也将帮助他们改进交互式白板教学环节中的使用方法。其二是在南京第二育英外国语学校进行为期一个月左右的课堂观察(由于南京地区大部分中小学校区内尚无大规模的交互式白板的应用,故而本项研究中学校的选取有一定的限制)。该校交互式白板使用教师均配备个人电脑,可以全时段接入交互式白板。课堂观察涉及5位英语教师,教授四至六年级。在观察过程中,教师对于白板的使用方式也被纳入考虑范围,并且进行了仔细的比较。课堂观察部分的主要目标是研究交互式白板应该如何作为教辅工具加入并改变教学方式,及其对学生学习积极性和参与度影响的程度。访谈部分通过问卷收集英语教师在使用白板过程中的一些数据来佐证之前部分的分析结论。除此之外,我也将自己在对外英语教学以及交互式白板使用的经验加入到此项研究中。本文发现交互式白板在英语教学中具有很大潜力,但是对于英语教师而言,也意味着一系列的挑战。现阶段交互式白板应用的主要局限性来源于相对应的培训的缺失与不足。而且对于英语教师的培训不能采取“一刀切”的方式,培训者需要同时顾及教师本身知识背景以及应用场景,而量身设计培训方案。在获得相当的培训之后,教师将对于智能白板的使用更具信心,能极大的发挥出教学创意,同时避免由于培训不足而引起的各种技术问题。因此英语教师需要对于充分的培训与交互式白板在课堂中发挥重要作用两者之间的密切联系有一个清楚的认知。这个课题在其他国家已有相当数量的研究与访谈,比如英国,澳大利亚,土耳其和瑞典。但是在中国的本土化研究寥寥无几,这与中国广泛的教育资源状况是极不相称的。另外某些教室中交互式白板存在安装不当:比如未将学生身高,其对学生视力的影响,交互式白板易被损坏的特性,没有备用电源等因素纳入考虑范围。除此之外,交互式白板在南京公立学校中配备的短缺也不容忽视,在总共一百零七所学校中,拥有交互式白板的学校屈指可数,而且这部分学校也仅仅是在小部分教室中才有安装。公立学校对于交互式白板重要性认知不足可见一斑。而只有更多交互式白板相关的论文涌现出来,才能改变这一现状。交互式白板不仅对于教学环节有极大的进步作用,也能对于学生接受新兴科技的程度有积极影响。而部分教师创新性不足也限制了交互式白板发挥出最大的作用,同时他们还忽略了因特网这一交互式白板最大材料库。综上所述,为了能将交互式白板在英语课堂中的作用充分发挥,必须为教师提供深入充分的相关培训。而安装时也应当考虑到学生的年龄及身高。最后,希望本文能够吸引大家关于交互式白板的教学研究的兴趣,起到抛砖引玉的作用。

自动喷水系统通常是用来供给植物所需的灌溉用水;在大多数农场的管理中是买一组灌溉系统的材料,如PVC管,洒水装置的喷头,烟雾器或其他的成分,在本项研究中,为了解决一些常见的问题或改善空气环境等质量而将这些元件改造,比如改造成自动喷水灭尘系统、自动喷水防动物系统等。由于人的健康总是据于非常重要的地位,在农场工人都暴露在尘埃颗粒中(必然影响健康),这些颗粒是由车辆在农场的土路上行驶产生的,因此,开展改造洒水系统来抑制车辆产生的灰尘的研究是非常必要的。洒水装置安装在开放的环境里,并对空气中的灰尘依据各种环境因素用多种方程来进行推算出来。本研究还表明洒水器形成的一层直径100至600μm.小云滴对防尘是最有效的,此水滴直径为有效碰撞直径。作为一种解决运动车辆产生的Pm.0气载尘埃的办法,此研究提出了一个令人满意的在开放环境中的除尘系统。当有车辆经过这个系统并产生尘埃的时候,此系统产生水滴来控制这些尘埃,其中,水滴有很高的收集效率。这项创新有助于改善空气质量,提高劳动生产率,提高可见度。总体来说,此项创新是令人满意的。第二项研究是改造洒水器用来威慑不必要的动物和捕食者,在农场或者花园里,入侵的动物可能破坏新鲜植物的种子,破坏移植植物,摧毁了人们的财产,留下粪便,吓跑其他的动物,伤害人类,损坏植物和吸引其他的动物等。与投放化学药品和修建篱笆相比,洒水器是一个最人道的动物威慑系统,因为它对周围环境和使用者无害。喷淋装置使用红外传感器检测控制洒水装置,自动喷淋很少的水来惊吓入侵者的动物。然而使用红外运动感应会造成不必要的麻烦,例如会喷射到人类。因此,本论文研究了一个更灵敏的系统——自动喷水防动物系统,采用光学运动检测(监控摄像头)来识别对象以区分是人类的身材或四条腿的动物,或者应用照片库进行模式分析和识别。作为移动的自动洒水装置在阻止动物的入侵方面表现出令人满意的结果。但是仍然有很多不足。例如很小的覆盖范围,简单的触发程序导致这个系统在很小的热源例如人体还有机器热量的条件下就可能运作起来。研发新一代动物威慑自动喷洒系统就被提出来。这个系统建立在可以被照相机捕获的过程图像,然后和图库进行比较的形状识别系统,当这个识别软件在摄像机中识别出动物的形状,他就可以给在影像处理系统和洒水阀之间的传动装置的一个触发信号。创新目标是包含或者排除任何目标来避免受到威慑系统的损害。他增加了保护宠物免受入侵动物的侵袭作为重要新的优势,和其他优势例如大的覆盖范围,在保护区域内容易工作。与利用存在的灌溉喷洒装置相比,这个创新点非常有发展前景,是未来改进需要的。此外,在本研究中对喷淋冷却动物的装置和防护火灾等洒水器进行了研究。最后这个研究发现,改装的喷水系统直接或间接地有助于提高效率和生产率,喷水系统的经济效益显示用于系统的储存或是修复系统的损坏的费用比保护和提高生产率的费用低得多。

本研究收集了5个西非国家(冈比亚、加纳、利比里亚、尼日利亚和塞拉利昂)工业产出和就业方面的汇率展望。从研究中可以看出,选择一种切实可行的方法来处理众多国家工业领域商品和企业转换规模的均衡问题,是一个国家组织货币相关方法的关键组成部分之一。按照这些思路,在作出合法选择的同时,应当给予真正的思考。考虑到由于要素禀赋的不同,没有一个国家能够自然地采取适当的行动,一个国家的转换规模预计将成为全球货币相关贸易中的一项关键活动。本文旨在了解20年来汇率变动对这些西非国家工业产出和就业的影响。工业表现及其产量有利于发展中的国家以及先前创建的国家及其经济。更多工业的熟练程度和生产在很大程度上对一个国家的经济有着重要的影响,它经常是一个国家在各个方面,特别是在经济方面的进步的重要驱动力。基本上,本文采用STATA模型来确定变量之间的关系。在整个研究过程中,进行了不同的测试,如ADF、Johansen协整,以查看变量之间是否存在关系,因此五个国家中只有加纳的变量之间没有长期关系。

Fuzzy Logic Controlled Dual Active Bridge Series Resonant Converter for DC Sm.rt Grid Application

Over the last few years, sm.rt grids have becom. a topic of intensive research, developm.nt and deploym.nt across the world. This is due to the fact that, through the sm.rt grid, stable and reliable power system. can be achieved. This paper presents a fuzzy logic control for dual active bridge series resonant converters for DC sm.rt grid application. The DC sm.rt grid consists of wind turbine and photovoltaic generators, controllable and DC loads, and power converters. The proposed control m.thod has been applied to the controllable load＇s and the grid side＇s dual active bridge series resonant converters for attaining control of the power system. It has been used for m.nagem.nt of controllable load＇s state of charge, DC feeder＇s voltage stability during the loads and power variations from.wind energy and photovoltaic generation and power flow m.nagem.nt between the grid side and the DC sm.rt grid. The effectiveness of the proposed DC sm.rt grid operation has been verified by sim.lation results obtained by using m.TLAB and PLECS cards.
