Is High Grade Prostatic Intraepithelial Neoplasia a Risk Factor for Prostate Cancer?—A Local Study

Objective: To determine the consequence of recognizing high grade prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia (HGPIN) & its extent on initial sextant prostatic biopsy then identifying its associated risk of finding prostate cancer on subsequent biopsy. Patients and methods: Seventy-one men were subjected to transrectal ultrasound guided sextant prostate biopsy due to elevated serum prostate specific antigen (***) > 4 ng /ml, an abnormal digital rectal examination (DRE) and/or transrectal ultrasound (TRUS) findings. The number, percentage, as well as bilateral and multifocal involvement of specimens positive for HGPIN were recorded in every patient. The percentage of cancer detected in these patients on repeat biopsy within 1 year of the initial biopsy was also recorded. Results: The mean age and mean *** level of our patients was 59.9 years and 7.9 ng/ml respectively. Of the 71 patients studied, initial biopsy revealed that (32.4%) had benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), (36.62%) had carcinoma, (25.35%) had HGPIN and (5.63%) had chronic prostatitis. On repeat biopsy within 1 year of initial biopsy cancer of the prostate was detected in 33.3% of our patients who were diagnosed with HGPIN on 1st biopsy. all of them had multifocal involvement on the initial biopsy. Conclusion: Recognizing HGPIN on 1st biopsy (particularly multifocal involvement) is associated with great risk of prostate cancer development on subsequent biopsy, thus comprehensive follow-up of these patients is necessary.

An Integrated Method for the Selection of Optimum Locations for Landfilling Utilizing GIS: A Case Study of the State of Kuwait

With the rise of urbanization, change in lifestyles, and food habits, the amount of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) has been rapidly increasing with the composition constantly changing. Landfilling is the common approach for waste management in Kuwait, and around 90% of municipal wastes are disposed in landfill sites. Therefore, this study focused on the integration of different methods for the process of allocating optimum sites for MSW landfills, in four main stages. The first stage focused on utilizing the gap analysis method for the identification of effective criteria for landfill site selection, by comparing the criteria in Kuwait with the World Bank guidelines, US EPA, and Australia EPA, to suggest the best criteria for landfill site selection. These criteria were applied in the second and third stages to determine suitable locations for landfill sites using the Geographical Information System (GIS). In the last stage, the suitable areas were evaluated by studying the socioeconomic aspects such as distance to waste generation center, the proximity of existing roads, and lifespan to select optimum locations for landfilling. The results indicated that only one site with a total area of 12 km2 was considered optimum for MSW landfill sites in Kuwait. Therefore, moderate suitability areas were indicated to support and provide decision makers with more options. The moderately suitable sites are also suitable for landfilling, but they need to be designed carefully in order to avoid negative impacts on the environment and human health. Therefore, we conclude that there is an urgent need to apply the integrated waste management system in Kuwait, as well as to develop a long-term strategic plan.

DLBT:Deep Learning-Based Transformer to Generate Pseudo-Code from Source Code

Understanding the content of the source code and its regular expression is very difficult when they are written in an unfamiliar ***-code explains and describes the content of the code without using syntax or programming language ***,writing Pseudo-code to each code instruction is ***,neural machine translation is used to generate textual descriptions for the source *** this paper,a novel deep learning-based transformer(DLBT)model is proposed for automatic Pseudo-code generation from the source *** proposed model uses deep learning which is based on Neural Machine Translation(NMT)to work as a language *** DLBT is based on the transformer which is an encoder-decoder *** are three major components:tokenizer and embeddings,transformer,and *** code line is tokenized to dense *** transformer captures the relatedness between the source code and the matching Pseudo-code without the need of Recurrent Neural Network(RNN).At the post-processing step,the generated Pseudo-code is *** proposed model is assessed using a real Python dataset,which contains more than 18,800 lines of a source code written in *** experiments show promising performance results compared with other machine translation methods such as Recurrent Neural Network(RNN).The proposed DLBT records 47.32,68.49 accuracy and BLEU performance measures,respectively.

Assessment of the Water-Energy Nexus in the Municipal Water Sector in Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia

When it comes to water and energy, it is hard to obtain one without the other. Water is required to produce energy and energy is necessary in water production and management. As demands for water are escalating due to rapid population growth and urbanization, understanding and quantification of the interdependency between water and energy, along with analyzing nexus interactions, trade-offs and risks are a pre-requisite for effective and integrated planning and management of these two key sectors. This paper performs an assessment of the water-energy nexus in the municipal sector of the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, where the electric energy footprint in the water value chain (groundwater, desalination and wastewater treatment) and the water footprint in electric energy generation (thermal power plants) are quantified using data for the year 2013. The results confirmed the high and strong dependency on energy for the municipal water cycle in the Eastern Province and revealed that energy generation dependency on freshwater resources is also major and evident, especially at farther distances from the coastal areas. Thermal desalination is by far the most energy intensive stage among the entire Eastern Province water cycle. In 2013, it was estimated 13% of the Eastern Province energy generation capacity goes for desalination, that’s a 5% of the Kingdom capacity. Substantial energy input for desalination in the Eastern Province is attributed to the production and conveyance of water to the Capital Riyadh (48.9 kWh/m3 and 4.2 kWh/m3 respectively). As for groundwater pumping, it was estimated that 206.2 GWH was used for pumping 268 MCM in 2013 (0.764 kWh/m3). Energy requirement for primary, secondary and tertiary wastewater treatment was found to be the least (2 - 108 GWH) and was equivalent to an average of 0.4 kWh/m3. The water footprint in electricity generation was estimated to be about 739,308 m3 in 2013 (0.125 m3/kWh), a relatively higher value compared to the n

The application of optimization methods to prediction issues is a continually exploring *** line with this,this paper investigates the connectedness between the infected cases of COVID-19 and US fear index from a forecasting *** complex characteristics of implied volatility risk index such as non-linearity structure,time-varying and nonstationarity motivate us to apply a nonlinear polynomial Hammerstein model with known structure and unknown *** use the Hybrid Particle Swarm Optimization(HPSO)tool to identify the model parameters of nonlinear polynomial Hammerstein *** indicate that,following a nonlinear polynomial behaviour cascaded to an autoregressive with exogenous input(ARX)behaviour,the fear index in US financial market is significantly affected by COVID-19-infected cases in the US,COVID-19-infected cases in the world and COVID-19-infected cases in China,*** performance indicators provided by the developed models show that COVID-19-infected cases in the US are particularly powerful in predicting the Cboe volatility index compared to COVID-19-infected cases in the world and China(MAPE(2.1013%);R2(91.78%)and RMSE(0.6363 percentage points)).The proposed approaches have also shown good convergence characteristics and accurate fits of the data.

Effect of Geographic Location and Age on Levels of Some Biochemical Parameters of Ewes in Southern of Iraq

A total of one hundred and ten healthy dry ewes of Arabi sheep diffusive in three geographic locations in the north of Basrah (al-Qurna, al-Midaina and al-Uazair) were divided into three different age groups: 3 years old, to investigate the influence of geographic location and age on the concentration of some biochemical parameters of sheep in the south of Iraq. The results showed significant (P al parameters such as cholesterol, glucose, estridol and growth hormone concentrations. No significant differences were presented in concentrations of total protein, albumin, Fe, phosphorus, ascorbic acid, LH, T3 and T4 hormones in the blood of ewes in different geographic locations. The concentrations of cholesterol, T3 and T4 hormones decreased significantly (P < 0.05), while, the concentrations of glucose and estradiol hormone increased significantly (P < 0.01) in adult ewes compared with younger ewes.

ON THE COEFFICIENTS OF DIFFERENTIATED EXPANSIONS AND DERIVATIVES OF CHEBYSHEV POLYNOMIalS OF THE THIRD AND FOURTH KINDS

Two new analytical formulae expressing explicitly the derivatives of Chebyshev polynomials of the third and fourth kinds of any degree and of any order in terms of Chebyshev polynomials of the third and fourth kinds themselves are proved. Two other explicit formulae which express the third and fourth kinds Chebyshev expansion coefficients of a general-order derivative of an infinitely differentiable function in terms of their original expansion coefficients are also given. Two new reduction formulae for summing some terminating hypergeometric functions of unit argument are deduced. As an application of how to use Chebyshev polynomials of the third and fourth kinds for solving high-order boundary value problems, two spectral Galerkin numerical solutions of a special linear twelfth-order boundary value problem are given.

飞行Ad-hoc网络（FANET）的主要特点是节点移动性、自组织和网络时延敏感在无人机之间的应用,这使得无人机在无基础设施地区的通信范围和连通性得到了扩展。FANET是当今一个热门的研究领域,它是专门为让无人机相互通信而设计的,为生产有效的小型无人机铺平了道路。在移动自组网中选择的协议在服务质量（Qo S）参数方面有最优的结果,如高吞吐量、更好的分组交付率和将数据从源传输到目标的能耗降到最低。在这项工作中,利用基于多集群的方法实现了不同数量的节点,最大限度地降低了小型无人机的能耗,提高了吞吐量。利用NS-2仿真器实现了AODV、DSR等反应性协议,并应用E-clustering算法对节点能量进行了评估。仿真结果表明,在吞吐量和剩余能量的情况下,采用该聚类算法可以显著提高FANET的性能。多无人机（Unmanned Air Vehicle,UAV）协议最基本的规划问题之一是FANET、MANET（Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks,移动自组网）和VANETs（Vehicle Ad-Hoc Networks,车载自组网）之间的对应关系。除了当前的FANET协议之外,还讨论了开放的研究问题,这些问题对于无人机之间的参与和共同努力具有重要意义。如果所有无人机都直接与网络相关联,例如地面基地或卫星,则可以通过基础设施确认无人机之间的通信。然而,这种基于基础的通信设计限制了多无人机协议的能力。无人机之间的专用网络架构可以解决基于完整结构的无人机网络出现的问题。本文综述了飞行自组织网络（Flying Ad-Hoc Networks,FANETs）,它是一种独特的无人机自组织网络。
