BACKGROUND Hemorrhage associated with varices at the site of choledochojejunostomy is an unusual,difficult to treat,and often fatal manifestation of portal *** far,no treatment guidelines have been *** SUMMARY We reported three patients with jejunal varices at the site of choledochojejun-ostomy managed by endoscopic sclerotherapy with lauromacrogol/α-butyl cyanoacrylate injection at our institution between June 2021 and August *** reviewed all patient records,clinical presentation,endoscopic findings and treatment,outcomes and *** patients who underwent pancre-aticoduodenectomy with a Whipple anastomosis were examined using conven-tional upper gastrointestinal endoscopy for suspected hemorrhage from the afferent jejunal *** with stigmata of recent hemorrhage or active he-morrhage were observed around the choledochojejunostomy site in all three *** injection of lauromacrogol/α-butyl cyanoacrylate was carried out at jejunal varices for all three *** bleeding ceased and patency was observed for 26 and 2 months in two *** one patient with multiorgan failure and internal environment disturbance,rebleeding occurred 1 month after endoscopic sclerotherapy,and despite a second endoscopic sclero-therapy,repeated episodes of bleeding and multiorgan failure resulted in eventual *** We conclude that endoscopic sclerotherapy with lauromacrogol/α-butyl cyanoac-rylate injection can be an easy,effective,safe and low-cost treatment option for jejunal varicose bleeding at the site of choledochojejunostomy.

Silicon carbide(SiC) power modules play an essential role in the electric vehicle drive system. To improve their performance, reduce their size, and increase production efficiency, this paper proposes a multiple staked direct bonded copper(DBC) unit based power module packaging method to parallel more chips. This method utilizes mutual inductance cancellation effect to reduce parasitic inductance. Because the conduction area in the new package is doubled, the overall area of power module can be reduced. Entire power module is divided into smaller units to enhance manufacture yield, and improve design freedom. This paper provides a detailed design, analysis and fabrication procedure for the proposed package structure. Additionally, this paper offers several feasible solutions for the connection between power terminals and DBC untis. With the structure, 18dies were paralleled for each phase-leg in a econodual size power module. Both simulation and double pulse test results demonstrate that, compared to conventional layouts, the proposed package method has 74.8% smaller parasitic inductance and 34.9% lower footprint.

The safety and stability of high-speed maglev trains traveling on viaducts in crosswinds critically depend on their aerodynamic ***,this paper uses an improved delayed detached eddy simulation(IDDES)method to investigate the aerodynamic features of high-speed maglev trains with different marshaling lengths under *** effects of marshaling lengths(varying from 3-car to 8-car groups)on the train’s aerodynamic performance,surface pressure,and the flow field surrounding the train were investigated using the three-dimensional unsteady compressible Navier-Stokes(N-S)*** results showed that the marshaling lengths had minimal influence on the aerodynamic performance of the head and middle ***,the marshaling lengths are negatively correlated with the time-average side force coefficient(CS)and time-average lift force coefficient(Cl)of the tail *** to the tail car of the 3-car groups,the CS and Cl fell by 27.77%and 18.29%,respectively,for the tail car of the 8-car *** is essential to pay more attention to the operational safety of the head car,as it exhibits the highest time average ***,the mean pressure difference between the two sides of the tail car body increased with the marshaling lengths,and the side force direction on the tail car was opposite to that of the head and middle ***,the turbulent kinetic energy of the wake structure on the windward side quickly decreased as marshaling lengths increased.

A magnetic ground state is revealed for the first time in zigzag-edged carbon nanoscrolls(ZCNSs)from spin-unrestricted density functional theory *** their flat counterpart-zigzag-edged carbon nanoribbons,which are semiconductors with spin-degenerate electronic structure-ZCNSs show a variety of magnetic configurations,namely spin-selective semiconductors,metals,semimetals,quasi-half-metals,and *** the best of our knowledge,this is the first discovery of quasi-half-metals and half-metals in a pure hydrocarbon without resort to an external electric *** addition,we calculated the spin-dependent transportation of the semiconducting ZCNSs with 12 and 20 zigzag chains,and found that they are 13% and 17% at the Fermi level,respectively,suggesting that ZCNS can be an effective spin filter.
