A susceptible,exposed,infectious,quarantined and recovered(SEIQR)model with fuzzy parameters is studied in this *** in the model arises due to the different degrees of susceptibility,exposure,infectivity,quarantine and recovery among the computers under consideration due to the different sizes,models,spare parts,the surrounding environments of these PCs and many other factors like the resistance capacity of the individual PC against the virus,*** individual PC has a different degree of infectivity and resis-tance against *** this scenario,the fuzzy model has richer dynamics than its classical counterpart in *** reproduction number of the developed model is studied and the equilibrium analysis is *** different techniques are employed to solve the model *** simulations are performed and the obtained results are *** and convergence are maintained by the suggested technique which are the main features of the epidemic models.

Tri-Trophic Interactions within Potato Agro-Ecosystem, Qassim, KSA

Tri-trophic interactions between fertilizer applications, cotton aphid (Aphis gossypii Golver) and associated beneficial insects were studied to investigate direct and indirect effects of fertilizers (types and ratios) on potato plants under field and greenhouse conditions, A. gossypii and associated beneficial insects. fertilizers regimes showed direct impacts on the potato plant phenology and indirect effects on both A. gossypii population and the associated beneficial insects. Our data indicated that potato plants had been influenced by fertilizer elements used within tri-trophic system comprising potato plants, cotton aphid, and certain associated beneficial insects. This demonstrates that a bottom-up interaction is robust and has a particular value in the attraction of beneficial insects towards the potato plant signals due to used fertilizers which can also have a function when plants are attacked by A. gossypii. Yet, flexibility in the use of fertilizers (as chemical cues) is conserved, and that may help beneficial insects to specifically focus on the odor of plants that carry potential plant hosts and avoid plants that are only attacked by non-hosts. These results support the still controversial notion that fertilizer elements, at least in part, help plants to serve as functional signals to attract the enemies of the harmful insects. These observations declare the benefits of the tri-trophic interactions as an ecological phenomenon in particular and the food chain in general. Additionally, this study may be useful to be used as a predictable model with the associated beneficial insects which may have key roles in overall aphid suppression or regulating its population. A study of the relationship between nurses'experience,structural empowerment,and attitudes toward computer use

Objective:This study examined the relationship between structural empowerment and nurses’experience and attitudes toward computer ***:This study was conducted using a cross-sectional quantitative design.A total of 184 registered nurses from four hospitals in Jordan participated in the current *** were collected using a demographics questionnaire,the Conditions for Work Effectiveness Questionnaire-II(CWEQ-II),and the Pretest for Attitudes toward Computers in Healthcare(PATCH).Results:The median of experience in years among nurses was 5.0,ranging from one to 26 *** mean score for the attitudes toward computer use was 61.90±*** half of the participants,45.11%,were in the category of“feel comfortable using user-friendly computers.”The participants’mean average of the total structural empowerment was 12.40±2.43,and the values for its four subscales were:opportunity 3.57±0.87,resources 2.83±0.85,information 3.06±0.79,and support 2.95±*** frequencies analysis revealed that most participants had a moderate level of empowerment(n¼127,69.02%).The bivariate correlation between nurses’experience and attitudes toward computer use was significant(r¼0.17,Pfacilitate nurses’attitudes toward computer use.

Reliability and validation of the Arabic version of the Conditions for Workplace Effectiveness Questionnaire-Ⅱ

Objective:This study aimed to examine the psychometric properties of the Conditions for Workplace Effectiveness Questionnaire-Ⅱ-Arabic Version(CWEQ-Ⅱ-AV),which measures structural empowerment among *** enhance the usability and credibility of the CWEQ-Ⅱ among researchers within Arabicspeaking countries,a valid and reliable Arabic version of the measure is ***:A cross-sectional research design was *** December 2018 to June 2019,275 nurses working in 4 hospitals participated in the *** was assessed by examining internal consistency and split-half reliability.A confirmatory factor analysis was performed to evaluate the factor structure of the CWEQ-Ⅱ-***:The psychometric properties of the CWEQ-Ⅱ-AV were excellent regarding the six-factor model(opportunity,information,resources,support,formal power,and informal power).The results showed the following fit indices meet the criteria set a priori:comparative fit index(CfI)=0.96,root mean square of error approximation(RMSEA)=0.06,andХ^(2)/df=***'s a coefficient was 0.95 for the total questionnaire and ranged between 0.83 and 0.89 for the individual *** split-half reliability was 0.91 for the total questionnaire and ranged from 0.83 to 0.87 for individual ***:This study provides evidence that CWEQ-Ⅱ-AV is both a reliable and valid measure of structural empowerment among Arab nurses.

Upwind finite-Volume Solution of Stochastic Burgers’ Equation

In this paper, a stochastic finite-volume solver based on polynomial chaos expansion is developed. The upwind scheme is used to avoid the numerical instabilities. The Burgers’ equation subjected to deterministic boundary conditions and random viscosity is solved. The solution uncertainty is quantified for different values of viscosity. Monte-Carlo simulations are used to validate and compare the developed solver. The mean, standard deviation and the probability distribution function (p.d.f) of the stochastic Burgers’ solution is quantified and the effect of some parameters is investigated. The large sparse linear system resulting from the stochastic solver is solved in parallel to enhance the performance. Also, Monte-Carlo simulations are done in parallel and the execution times are compared in both cases.

目的本研究旨在探讨护士工作经验、结构性赋权与计算机使用态度的关系。方法本研究属于横断面调查研究。采用人口统计学问卷、工作环境效能问卷-Ⅱ(the Conditions for Work Effectiveness Questionnaire-Ⅱ,CWEQ-Ⅱ)和医疗实践工作中使用计算机的态度预测量表(the Pretest for Attitudes toward Comput ers in Healthcare,PATCH)对约旦4所医院的184名注册护士进行调查。结果护士的工作年限范围为1～26年,中位数为5.0年。护士PATCH得分为(61.90±11.38)分,其中45.1%护士对使用计算机的态度属于“在使用用户友好型计算机时感觉舒适”的类别。CWEQ-Ⅱ平均得分为(12.40±2.43)分,其中机会为(3.57±0.87)分,资源为(2.83±0.85)分,信息为(3.06±0.79)分,支持为(2.95±0.86)分。127名(69.0%)护士具有中等水平的结构性赋权。护士的工作经验、结构性赋权分别与使用计算机的态度存在弱负相关(r=-0.17,P<0.05)及弱正相关(r=0.20,P<0.05)。结论结果显示,工作年限长的护士较不愿意使用计算机。加强护士的结构性赋权,改善工作环境可以改变护士对计算机使用的态度。
