AIm. To investigate the relationship between low m.lecular polypeptide-7 (Lm.-7) gene polym.rphism.and response to interferon (IFN) therapy in chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) patients. m.THODS: Lm.-7 polym.rphism.at codon 49 with nucleotide substitution from.A to C was am.lified in 104 chronic HCV patients of genotype 4. The am.licons were digested with restriction endonuclease Bsm.I and the produced restriction fragm.nt length polym.rphism.was analyzed. Patients received IFN + regional blood volum. therapy for 48 wk and the frequency of thissingle nucleotide polym.rphism.(SNP) was statistically correlated with treatm.nt response. The exclusion criteria for these patients were stated by the national health program.for treating viral hepatitis. m.in exclusion criteria included co-infection with hepatitis B virus or schistosom.asis, thyroid dysfunction, uncontrolled diabetes m.llitus, history of long term.drug or alcohol intake and autoim.une hepatitis. m.ltivariate analyses were done to correlate Lm.-7 SNP plus several factors such as age, gender, weight, serum.alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) and alanine am.notransferase levels, liver activity, fibrosis score and viral load with response to therapy. RESULTS: The data presented in this study clearly dem.nstrated statistically significant differences between sustained virological response (SVR) (defined as the absence of HCV RNA levels in the patient's sera at least 6 m. after discontinuation of treatm.nt) and non-response (NR) (where HCV RNA levels in the patient's sera never becom. undetectable for 6 m. during or after treatm.nt). Variables were described as odds ratio with 95%CI. The data were considered significant if P values were ≤ 0.05; highly significant if P m.-7 C/C allele were associated with SVR, while the other two genotypes C/A and A/A were associated with NR patients, 83.3% and 64.3% respectively, showing that g

AIm.o evaluate the reversibility of m.nim.l hepatic encephalopathy (m.E) following liver transplantation (LT) in Egyptian cirrhotic patients. m.THODSThis prospective study included twenty patients with biopsy-proven liver cirrhosis listed for LT and twenty age- and sex-m.tched healthy control subjects. All underwent neuro-psychiatric exam.nation, laboratory investigations, radiological studies and psychom.tric tests including trail m.king test A (Tm. A), Tm. B, digit sym.ol test and serial dotting test. The psychom.tric hepatic encephalopathy score (PHES) was calculated for patients to diagnose m.E. Psychom.tric tests were repeated six m.nths following LT in the cirrhotic patient group. RESULTSBefore LT, psychom.tric tests showed highly significant deficits in cirrhotic patients in com.arison to controls (P P P P = 0.005). m.re patients in whom.reversal of m.E was observed had a pre-transplant m.LD score CONCLUSIONReversal of m.E in cirrhotic patients could be achieved by LT, especially in those with a m.LD score

Appropriate knowledge of the parental cultivars is a pre-requisite for a successful breeding *** study characterized fruit yield,quality attributes,and m.lecular variations of ten tom.to cultivars during three consecutive generations under greenhouse *** 86,Castle Rock,and Red Star cultivars showed the highest fruit yield(kg/plant),total phenolic com.ounds(TPC),and sap *** com.onent analysis categorized the evaluated fruit yield into three groups based on their quality attributes.A robust positive correlation appeared am.ng traits inside each group.A positive correlation was likewise noticed between the first and the second ***,a negative correlation was detected between the first,the second and the third *** profiling,using seven inter-sim.le sequence repeat(ISSR)prim.rs,produced 60 loci,including 49 polym.rphic *** m.lecular analysis also pinpointed the highest genetic sim.larity(0.92)between P73 and m.neym.ker,while the lowest genetic sim.larity(0.46)was observed between Castle Rock and *** cultivars P73 and m.neym.ker showed the lowest genetic distance(2.24),while the highest genetic distance(5.92)was observed between Super m.rm.nd and Peto86,on the one hand,and between Castle Rock and m.neym.ker,on the other *** chem.cal analysis of fruit sap indicated the highest levels of TPC,total flavonoids,anthocyanin,ascorbic acid and total soluble solids in Peto 86 and Castle Rock *** analysis of tom.to cultivars based on m.rphological and m.lecular attributes indicated four distinct *** 86,Castle Rock,and Red star cultivars can be recom.ended for the tom.to hybridization breeding program. in the future,with other tom.to cultivars as potentially high-yielding parents.

Oxaliplatin and infusional fluorouracil/leucovorin or capecitabine has em.rged as im.ortant options in the adjuvant and palliative treatm.nt of colorectal cancer. Severe Oxaliplatin induced neurotoxicity m.y require chem.therapy dose reduction or cessation. The incidence of oxaliplatin-induced neurotoxicity has varied from.12% - 18%. Several attem.ts have been proposed to prevent or treat oxaliplatin-induced neurotoxicity, but treatm.nt of established chronic Oxaliplatin induced neurotoxicity is lim.ted. Purpose: To assess the efficacy of parenteral Glutam.ne dipeptide (N2-L-Alanyl-L-Glutam.ne Dipeptide, 20 g·m.100m., IV) for preventing of oxaliplatin induced neurotoxicity. Patients and m.thods: A pilot study was perform.d. 120 patients with m.tastatic colorectal cancer (m.RC) entered into the study. 60 patients random.y assigned to receive IV glutam.ne dipeptide (20 g·m.IV) day 1-2 with FOLFOX-4 to be repeated every 15 days as a first line of treatm.nt of m.tastatic colorectal cancer and 60 patients assigned to receive only FOLFOX-4 (control group). Neurotoxicity sym.tom. and signs were evaluated before each cycle. Results: There were significantly fewer neurological sym.tom. in patients receiving glutam.ne dipeptide than in those who did not. A decreased percentage of grade 1-2 peripheral neuropathy was observed in the glutam.ne dipeptide group after two cycles (8.3% versus 20%;P = 0.04) and 4 cycles (13.3% vs 26.7%;P = 0.02). A significantly lower incidence of grade 3-4 neuropathy was noted in the glutam.ne dipeptide group after four and six cycles (6.7% versus 15%, P = 0.02 and 13.3% versus 33.3%. P = 0.04, respectively). The need for oxaliplatin dose reduction was significantly lower in the glutam.ne dipeptide (Dipeptiven) group (10% vs 26.7%;P = 0.02) and there were no significant differences between two groups in response to chem.therapy am.ng patient with m.RC (48.3% vs 50%). In this paper, a dual-band m.crostrip patch array antenna for both the m.ltiple Input m.ltiple Output (m.m.) 4G Long-Term.Evolution (LTE) and the Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) system. is developed. Design sim.lation and optim.zation processes are carried out with the aid of the Advanced Design System.(ADS) electrom.gnetic sim.la-tor that uses the full–wave m.thod of m.m.nt (m.m. num.rical technique [1]. Rectangular m.crostrip patch antenna constructed from.m.lti-Walled Carbon Nanotubes (m.CNT) ink with electrical conductivity of 2.2 × 104 S/m.and relative perm.ttivity of 5-j1 is used as the conductor patch [2]. The patch is deposited on Rogers substrate RT-Durid 5880 single substrate with (εr = 2.2) and thickness of 62 m.l. U-shape slot is used to provide the dual-band. The pro-posed antenna operates at 3.5 GHz for LTE and 5 GHz for WLAN. The proposed antenna param.ters are com.ared with published result of copper patch [3,4] for the sam. application. Great enhancem.nt in antenna size, m.tching, and frequency band width are achieved for the proposed antenna at the expense of gain and antenna efficiency com.ared with copper one. The proposed m.CNT dielectric antenna size is 18.4 m. × 27 m. com.ared with size of 27 m. × 37 m. for copper one respectively. The gain is better than 7dBi with antenna efficiency of 87.29% at 3.5GHz for cop-per patch antenna and is better than 1.692 dBi with antenna efficiency of 27.05% at 3.5GHz for m.CNT respectively.

本文设计了唐代斗栱与清官式斗栱简化模型,应用力学领域的有限元模拟方法,并开创性地应用数字图像相关实验方法,以模拟和实验两种方式获得了斗栱模型在竖向载荷产生的弯矩下关键构件的角刚度,进而定量对比了唐代斗栱与清官式斗栱的挑檐性能。模拟结果显示,唐代斗栱角刚度比清官式斗栱高约一倍;清官式斗栱模型的实验结果与有限元模拟基本吻合,其承力模式较为简明;而唐代斗栱模型的实验结果表现出了特殊的粘连-锁死区效应,其角刚度也远小于模拟结果。以上结果说明,从唐代到清代,斗栱的演变出现了两种趋势:其一是挑檐性能难以强化,其二是承力模式趋于简化。基于这些定量结果,本文总结出斗栱形制演变中的两个重要线索,对进一步探寻斗栱演变的推动力具有一定的启发意义。

针对中国西南丘陵山区马铃薯收获作业中存在的引进机型适用性低、明薯率低、伤薯率高、破皮较严重、机械化收获程度低的问题,设计一种适用于丘陵山区的小型马铃薯收获机,整机主要由三点悬挂装置、挖掘装置、激振式分离筛、多级振动调整装置、挖掘调整装置、变速箱、传动装置等组成。结合具体作业要求,对挖掘装置和升运分离装置进行参数确定和选型设计。挖掘铲为设有圆弧过渡曲面的二阶铲,增强了碎土剪切性能,提高了顺土能力。建立挖掘过程的挖掘装置阻力模型和运动学模型,并对挖掘装置进行有限元分析,得出挖掘装置的最大应变为5.05×10-8 m.m.1,最大应力为9327.7 Pa,最大变形为2.98×10-4 m.。建立马铃薯升运过程的运动学模型,对薯土混合物的运动形态进行分析,根据所计算的相关参数设计了二次正交旋转组合试验,分别对各试验指标进行响应曲面分析。发现影响明薯率的主要因素为作业速度和分离筛倾角,影响伤薯率的主要因素为作业速度和分离筛倾角,影响破皮率的最主要因素为入土角和分离筛倾角。田间试验结果表明:当作业速度为1.05 m.s-1,入土角为17°,分离筛倾角为15°时,试验条件下的明薯率为96.7%,伤薯率为1.3%,破皮率为1.5%,上述指标优于国家标准,符合马铃薯收获作业要求。
