Recently,nano-systems based on molecular communications via diffusion(mCvD)have been implemented in a variety of nanomedical applications,most notably in targeted drug delivery system(TDDS)***,because the mCvD is unreliable and there exists molecular noise and inter symbol interference(ISI),cooperative nano-relays can acquire the reliability for drug delivery to targeted diseased cells,especially if the separation distance between the nano transmitter and nano receiver is *** this work,we propose an approach for optimizing the performance of the nano system using cooperative molecular communications with a nano relay scheme,while accounting for blood flow effects in terms of drift *** fractions of the molecular drug that should be allocated to the nano transmitter and nano relay positioning are computed using a collaborative optimization problem solved by themodified Central Force Optimization(mCFO)*** the previous work,the probability of bit error is expressed in a closed-form *** is used as an objective function to determine the optimal velocity of the drug molecules and the detection threshold at the nano *** simulation results show that the probability of bit error can be dramatically reduced by optimizing the drift velocity,detection threshold,location of the nano-relay in the proposed nano system,and molecular drug budget.

This paper presents detailed design steps of an effective control system aiming to increase the solar energy harvested via photovoltaic power-generation *** design of an intelligent maximum power point tracker(mPPT)supported by a robust sliding-mode(Sm)controller is discussed in this *** proposed control scheme is designed to track the mPP and provide a smooth system response by removing the overshoot in the load current during any variation in the connected *** a system is suitable for DC-DC buck converter *** study begins with modelling the buck converter for a continuous current mode *** reference voltage of the tracking system is produced by the proposed neural network(NN)*** proposed intelligent mPPT integrated with an Sm controller is simulated in a mATLAB®/Simulink®*** simulation results are analysed to investigate and confirm the satisfaction level of the adopted four-serially connected PV-modules *** system performance is evaluated at a light intensity of 500 W/m^(2) and an ambient temperature of 25°*** only the proposed NN algorithm guarantees the mPP tracking response by delivering 100 W at a resistive load of 13Ω,and 200 W at a load of 6.5Ω,respectively,with 99.77%system ***,this simultaneously demonstrates a current spike of~0.5 A when the load is varied from 50%to 100%.The integrated Sm controller demonstrates a robust and smooth response,eliminating the existing current spike.

Sol-gel process is one of the simplest techniques to manufacture thin films. The quality of the prepared films depends on the parameters of the sol-gel process and the technique used for deposition. A great variety of the sol-gel derived films have been prepared for different applications. These sol-gel derived coatings are reviewed. The sol-gel deposition process is introduced in detail. Different sol-gel deposition techniques are mentioned. The optical applications of the sol-gel derived coatings are reviewed.

Evaluation of photon beam dose calculation accuracy of treatment planning systems using in vivo dosimetry

Objective The treatment planning system currently represents one of the basics of radiation therapy,because it is the only method to estimate patient dose delivery fast forward and accurately represent estimated tumor location of the tumor with the possibility of estimating densities in the tissue surrounding the tumor to overcome dose calculation defects but radial estimated the *** the flaws associated with the systems and calculates the dose of your programs in all programs currently existing in the *** necessary,to the existence of a review of the accuracy of accounts and how to confirm the radiation dose to the patient *** A total of 35 cancer patients were considered for this study,with 245 field measurements made with low-and high-energy diode detectors for brain and prostate *** treatments for all patients were planned using Eclipse Treatment Planning System version *** Of the 105 field measurements made for the prostate cancer patients,16 included discrepancies outside the ±5% action *** the 145 measurements taken of the brain cases,there were four outside the ±5% action *** results indicated a higher degree of *** study revealed that,for the prostate measurements,the higher discrepancy in the doses for the particular fields(exceeding the action level) may have been due to the isocenter being very close to the jaws and multi-leaf collimator of the linear accelerator *** a result,scatter from the jaws and the multi-leaf collimator could have contributed to the high dose delivered to the diode;hence,a probable higher discrepancy of the dose in more brain cases due highest quality of VmAT technique and fixation *** A greater percentage of the observed discrepancies were well within the set tolerance ***,it is recommended that the positioning of the diode on the patient's skin and the angular sensitivity of the diodes be *** is also recommended that a m

Tribological Characterization of Hybrid metal matrix Composites Processed by Powder metallurgy

Aluminum （Al）-based aluminum oxide （Al2O3） and silicon carbide （SIC） particles hybrid metal matrix com- posites were processed by powder metallurgy technique, followed by sintering at 500 ℃ and then hot extrusion. The tribological properties of these composites with different weight fractions of Al2O3 and SiC were investigated; extrusion process significantly reduces the extent of porosity after cold compaction and sintering processes. Hybridization of the two reinforcements improved hardness and wear resistance of the composites. With an increase in SiC content, hardness was increased and consequently the wear resistance was enhanced also. Scanning electron microscopy observations show a better interfacial bond between matrix and reinforcements and a better distribution of the reinforcements.

I am Dr Hossam A. Yasien, from the Department of Dermatology, Andrology ＆ STDs, Faculty of medicine, menoufiya University, menoufiya, Egypt. Spinal cord lesions in humans are associated with impaired ejaculation [1], suggesting that the effects of descending pathways on the spinal ejaculatory mechanism are predominantly excitatory. In rodents, however, there may be an additional and important descending inhibitory pathway [2]. We report a case of a patient in whom a spinal trauma was unusually associated with spontaneous ejaculation.

Analytical and Approximate Solutions for Complex Nonlinear Schr?dinger Equation via Generalized Auxiliary Equation and Numerical Schemes

This article studies the performance of analytical, semi-analytical and numerical scheme on the complex nonlinear Schr¨odinger(NLS) equation. The generalized auxiliary equation method is surveyed to get the explicit wave solutions that are used to examine the semi-analytical and numerical solutions that are obtained by the Adomian decomposition method, and B-spline schemes(cubic, quantic, and septic). The complex NLS equation relates to many physical phenomena in different branches of science like a quantum state, fiber optics, and water waves. It describes the evolution of slowly varying packets of quasi-monochromatic waves, wave propagation, and the envelope of modulated wave groups, respectively. moreover, it relates to Bose-Einstein condensates which is a state of matter of a dilute gas of bosons cooled to temperatures very close to absolute zero. Some of the obtained solutions are studied under specific conditions on the parameters to constitute and study the dynamical behavior of this model in two and three-dimensional.

Impact of cigarette smoking on response to interferon therapy in chronic hepatitis C Egyptian patients

AIm: Smoking may affect adversely the response rate to interferon-α. Our objective was to verify this issue among chronic hepatitis C patients. mETHODS: Over the year 1998, 138 chronic hepatitis C male Egyptian patients presenting to Cairo Liver Center, were divided on the basis of smoking habit into: group I which comprised 38 smoker patients (>30 cigarettes/d) and group II which included 84 non-smoker patients. Irregular and mild smokers (16 patients) were excluded. Non eligible patients for interferon-~ therapy were excluded from the study and comprised 3/38 (normal ALT) in group I and 22/84 in group II (normal ALT, advanced cirrhosis and thrombocytopenia). Group I was randomly allocated into 2 sub-groups: group Ia comprised 18 patients who were subjected to therapeutic phlebotomy while sub-group ib consisted of 17 patients who had no phlebotomy. In sub-group Ia, 3 patients with normal ALT after repeated phlebotomies were excluded from the study. Interferon-α2b 3 mU/TIW was given for 6 mo to 15 patients in group Ia, 17 patients in group ib and 62 patients in group II. Biochemical, virological end-of- treatment and sustained responses were ***: At the end of interferon-α treatment, ALT was normalized in 3/15 patients (20%) in group Ia and 2/17 patients (11.8%) in group ib compared to17/62 patients (27.4%) in group II (P=0.1). Whereas 2/15 patients (13.3%) in group Ia. and 2/17 patients (11.8%) in group ib lost viraemia compared to 13/62 patients (26%) in group II(P=0.3). Six months later, ALT was persistently normal in 2/15 patients (13.3%) in group la and 1/17 patients (5.9%) in group ib compared to 9/62 patients (14.5%) in group Ⅱ (P= 0.47). Viraemia was eliminated in 1/15 patients (6.7%) in group Ia and 1/17 patients (5.9%) in group ib compared to 7/62 patients (11.3%) in group Ⅱ, but the results did not mount to statistical significance (P = 0.4).
