Lithium-rich layered oxides （LLOs） are increasingly recognized as promising cathode materials for nextgeneration high-energy-density lithium-ion batteries （LIBs）.However,they suffer from voltage decay and low initial Coulombic efficiency （ICE） due to severe structural degradation caused by irreversible O ***,we introduce a three-in-one strategy of increasing Ni and Mn content,along with Li/Ni disordering and TM–O covalency regulation to boost cationic and anionic redox activity simultaneously and thus enhance the electrochemical activity of *** target material,Li1.2Ni0.168Mn0.558Co0.074O2（L1）,exhibits an improved ICE of 87.2%and specific capacity of 293.2 mA h g-1and minimal voltage decay of less than 0.53 m V cycle-1over 300 cycles at 1C,compared to Li1.2Ni0.13Mn0.54Co0.13O2（Ls）(274.4 mA h g-1for initial capacity,73.8%for ICE and voltage decay of 0.84 mV/cycle over 300 cycles at 1C).Theoretical calculations reveal that the density of states （DOS） area near the Fermi energy level for L1 is larger than that of Ls,indicating higher anionic and cationic redox reactivity than ***,L1 exhibits increased O-vacancy formation energy due to higher Li/Ni disordering of 4.76%（quantified by X-ray diffraction Rietveld refinement） and enhanced TM–O covalency,making lattice O release more difficult and thus improving electrochemical *** increased Li/Ni disordering also leads to more Ni2+presence in the Li layer,which acts as a pillar during Li+de-embedding,improving structural *** research not only presents a viable approach to designing low-Co LLOs with enhanced capacity and ICE but also contributes significantly to the fundamental understanding of structural regulation in high-performance LIB cathodes.

Metal-organic frameworks （MOFs）,that have emerged as promising electrocatalysts in oxygen evolution reaction （OER）,usually undergo structural reconstruction to form metal hydroxides as active ***,it remains a great challenge to design and synthesize ideal MOF-based pre-catalysts for properly cognizing and utilizing the reconstruction process toward efficient OER ***,the well-defined MOF-808 is post-modified by 2-hydroxyphosphonoacetic acid （HPAA） to form a micro-adsorber that enables to capture of metal ions ***3+and Ni2+ions are synergistically anchored into the microadsorber,developing a Fe/Ni-containing pre-catalyst that can be dynamically electrooxidized to be an active and stable dual-site electrocatalyst denoted by R-MOF-HPAA@FeNi with abundant metal *** a result,R-MOF-HPAA@FeNi exhibits an excellent OER performance with a low overpotential of 272 mV and Tafel slope of 35.9 m V dec-1,as well as long-term stability over 300 h at 10 m A *** and theoretical calculations suggest the resulting catalyst mainly follows a lattice oxygen mechanism （LOM） of dual-metal-site mechanism （DMSM）.Owing to the chelating role of HPAA,the post-synthesized MOF-HPAA behaves as a trap to uniformly and firmly adhere Fe3+and Ni2+ions,leading to a functionalized MOF-based pre-catalyst which can be structurally evolved into atomic level-distributed OER electrocatalysts.

Facial dermatosis associated with Demodex:a case-control study

Demodex has been considered to be related with multiple skin disorders,but controversy *** this case-control study,a survey was conducted with 860 dermatosis patients aged 12 to 84 years in Xi'an,China to identify the association between facial dermatosis and *** the patients,539 suffered from facial dermatosis and 321 suffered from non-facial *** mites were sampled and examined using the skin pressurization *** regression analysis was applied to analyze the association between facial dermatosis and Demodex infestation,and to identify the risk factors of Demodex *** results showed that total detection rate of Demodex was 43.0%.Patients aged above 30 years had higher odds of Demodex infestation than those under 30 *** to patients with neutral skin,patients with mixed,oily,or dry skin were more likely to be infested with Demodex(odds ratios(ORs) were 2.5,2.4,and 1.6,respectively).Moreover,Demodex infestation was found to be statistically associated with rosacea(OR=8.1),steroid-induced dermatitis(OR=2.7),seborrheic dermatitis(OR=2.2),and primary irritation dermatitis(OR=2.1).In particular,ORs calculated from the severe infestation(≥5 mites/cm2) rate were significantly higher than those of the total ***,we concluded that Demodex is associated with rosacea,steroid-induced dermatitis,seborrheic dermatitis,and primary irritation *** rate of severe infestation is found to be more correlated with various dermatosis than the total infestation *** risk factors of Demodex infestation,age,and skin types were *** study also suggested that good hygiene practice might reduce the chances of demodicosis and Demodex infestation.

In the system of ammonium acetate and acetic acid and under microwave irradiation, N-phenacylpyridinium chloride 1 reacted with chalcone 2 to give 2,4,6-triarylpyrididnes 3a-g in high yields. 3a-g can also be prepared from one-pot reaction of 1 with aromatic aldehydes 4 and substituted acetophenones 5. Under the same conditions 1 can also react with pyridinecar boxaldehyde 6a-e and acetophenone to yield bipyridine derivatives 7a-e. 1 reacted with aromatic aldehyde and cyclohexanone 6 to yield 2,4-diaryltetrahydroquinolines 8a-d. At last 1 reacted with aromatic aldehydes to give 2,4,6-triarylpyrimidine 9a-1. The structure of the products was characterized with 1^H NMR and IR and mass spectroscopy.

Haynaldia villosa(2n=14,VV),a wild grass of the subtribe Triticeae,serves as potential gene resources for wheat genetic *** this study,the proteome characterization during grain development of yangmai 5 and yangmai *** 6VS/6AL translocation line was investigated by a comparative proteomic ***-dimensional electrophoresis identified 81 differentially accumulated proteins(DAPs)during five grain developmental stages in *** translocation *** proteins were mainly involved in stress defense,storage protein,energy metabolism,protein metabolism and folding,carbon metabolism,nitrogen metabolism,and starch *** particular,6VS/6AL translocation led to significant upregulation of 36 DAPs and specific expression of 11 DAPs such as chitinase,thaumatin-like proteins,glutathione transferase,α-amylase inhibitor,heat shock proteins,and betaine aldehyde *** proteins mainly involved in biotic and abiotic stress *** analysis found that the upstream 1500 promoter regions of these stress-responsive DAP genes contained multiple high-frequency cis-acting elements related to stress defense such as abscisic acid response element ABRE,methyl jasmonate(MeJA)-response element TGACG-motif and CGTCA-motif involved in oxidative stress and antioxidant response element(ARE).RNA-seq and RT-qPCR analyses revealed the high expression of these stress-defensive DAP genes in the developing grains,particularly at the early-middle grain filling *** results demonstrated that 6VS chromosome of *** contains abundant stress-defensive proteins that have potential values for wheat genetic improvement.

Low solar spectrum coverage,high evaporation enthalpy,and undesired salt deposition severely limited the solar-driven interfacial evaporation technology for further sewage purification and seawater *** overcome these problems,we designed an amphiphilic Janus-structured polyaniline(PANI)/ZrC/cellulose acetate(CA)(J-PZCA) ***,the interfacial interaction between PANI and ZrC enhances the photoabsorption and photothermal conversion ***,low thermal conductivity reduces the heat lost at the *** importantly,ZrC could facilitate interfacial activation,which weakens the intermolecular forces of water by affecting the hydrogen *** 1 solar irradiation(1 sun),the composite membrane exhibits a high evaporation rate of 1.31 kg m^(-2)h^(-1) and an excellent efficiency of 79.4%.In addition,the sewage purification and seawater desalination experiments reveal a remarkable purification capability of J-PZCA *** for the treatment of high-concentration salt solution,it realizes a long-term stable evaporation performance due to the excellent salt deposition ***,the J-PZCA membrane constructed in this study provides a new perspective for the design of efficient interfacial evaporation devices.

This paper presents a set of analytical expressions used to determine the coupling coefficient between primary and secondary Litz-wire planar coils used in a transcutaneous energy transfer(TET) system. A TET system has been designed to power a novel elastic scaling artificial anal sphincter system(ES-AASS) for treating severe fecal incontinence(FI), a condition that would benefit from an optimized TET. Expressions that describe the geometrical dimension dependence of self- and mutual inductances of planar coils on a ferrite substrate are provided. The effects of ferrite substrate conductivity, relative permeability, and geometrical dimensions are also considered. To verify these expressions, mutual coupling between planar coils is computed by 3D finite element analysis(FEA), and the proposed expressions show good agreement with numerical results. Different types of planar coils are fabricated with or without ferrite substrate. Measured results for each of the cases are compared with theoretical predictions and FEA solutions. The theoretical results and FEA results are in good agreement with the experimental data.
