Tunable quantum anomalous Hall effects in ferromagnetic van der Waals heterostructures

The quantum anomalous Hall effect（QAHE） has unique advantages in topotronic applications, but it is still challenging to realize the QAHE with tunable magnetic and topological properties for building functional devices. Through systematic first-principles calculations, we predict that the in-plane magnetization induced QAHE with Chern numbers C = ±1 and the out-of-plane magnetization induced QAHE with high Chern numbers C = ±3 can be realized in a single material candidate, which is composed of van der Waals（vdW）coupled Bi and MnBi2Te4monolayers. The switching between different phases of QAHE can be controlled in multiple ways, such as applying strain or（weak） magnetic field or twisting the vdW materials. The prediction of an experimentally available material system hosting robust, highly tunable QAHE will stimulate great research interest in the field. Our work opens a new avenue for the realization of tunable QAHE and provides a practical material platform for the development of topological electronics.

Single-structure 3-axis Lorentz force magnetometer based on an AlN-on-Si MEMS resonator

This work presents a single-structure 3-axis Lorentz force magnetometer(LFM)based on an AlN-on-Si MEMS *** operation of the proposed LFM relies on the flexible manipulation of applied excitation currents in different directions and frequencies,enabling the effective actuation of two mechanical vibration modes in a single device for magnetic field measurements in three ***,the excited out-of-plane drum-like mode at 277 kHz is used for measuring the x-and y-axis magnetic fields,while the in-plane square-extensional mode at 5.4 MHz is used for measuring the z-axis magnetic *** different configurations of applied excitation currents ensure good crossinterference immunity among the three *** to conventional capacitive LFMs,the proposed piezoelectric LFM utilizes strong electromechanical coupling from the AlN layer,which allows it to operate at ambient pressure with a high *** understand and analyze the measured results,a novel equivalent circuit model for the proposed LFM is also reported in this work,which serves to separate the effect of Lorentz force from the unwanted capacitive *** demonstrated 3-axis LFM exhibits measured magnetic responsivities of 1.74 ppm/mT,1.83 ppm/mT and 6.75 ppm/mT in the x-,y-and z-axes,respectively,which are comparable to their capacitive counterparts.

The quality factor(Q factor)is a crucial performance parameter for *** this paper,a novel release method for highquality micro fused silica shell resonators with teeth-like tines with good surface morphology is *** method is based on femtosecond laser-assisted chemical ***,the optimal energy range of femtosecond laser modification is obtained through mechanism ***,the optimal parameters for a straight line and arc pattern are determined by optimizing the average output power,processing speed,and processing *** results demonstrate why edge breakage in rounded corners is easy under different ***,according to these conclusions,the processing is performed on a micro fused silica shell resonator with a Q factor exceeding 6 *** addition,subsurface damage is rare throughout the fabrication process,and the surface roughness of the released cross section reaches the nanometer *** improved Q factor helps suppress mechanical thermal noise and reduce zero bias and zero bias drift,constituting the primary method for enhancing the performance of the resonant gyroscope.

Aiming at the problem of shadow interference in UAV's ground reconnaissance,a color and polarization synergistic target detection method is proposed for anti-shadow interference,based on the influence of two physical characteristics(wavelength and polarization)under different illuminations.A valid fusion strategy is proposed via integrating two separate detection results on color and polarization ***,a local enhancement and recognition module(LER)is introduced to boost the *** on our built dataset,experimental results show that our method achieves mAPof 87.76%,and12.37%higher than that of color image and 14.68%higher than that of polarization image.

The hybrid electromagnetic-triboelectric generator(HETG)is a prevalent device for mechanical energy ***,the energy utilization efficiency of the electromagnetic generator(EMG)is inferior to that of the triboelectric nanogenerator(TENG)at low driving frequencies,which limits the overall efficacy of the *** tackle this issue,a layered hybrid generator consisting of a rotating disk TENG,a magnetic multiplier,and a coil panel is *** magnetic multiplier not only forms the EMG part with its high-speed rotor and the coil panel but also facilitates the EMG to operate at a higher frequency than the TENG through frequency division *** systematic parameter optimization of the hybrid generator reveals that the energy utilization efficiency of EMG can be elevated to that of rotating disk *** a power management circuit,the HETG assumes the responsibility for monitoring the water quality and fishing conditions by collecting low-frequency mechanical *** magneticmultiplier-enabled hybrid generator demonstrated in this work offers a universal frequency division approach to improve the overall outputs of any hybrid generator that collects rotational energy,expanding its practical applications in diverse multifunctional self-powered systems.

Printing techniques hold great potential in the manufacture of electronics such as sensors,micro-supercapacitors,and flexible ***,developing large-scale functional conductive inks with appropriate rheological properties and active components still remains a ***,through optimizing the formulations of ink,iron single sites supported N-doped carbon black(Fe_(1)-NC)inks can serve as both conductive electrodes and high-reactive catalysts to realize convenient glucose detection,which pronouncedly reduces the dosage of enzyme and simplifies the sensors *** detail,utilizing in-situ pyrolysis method,Fe_(1)-NC single-atom catalysts(SACs)are prepared in bulk(dekagram-level).The batched Fe_(1)-NC SACs materials can be uniformly mixed with modulated ink to realize the screen printing with high resolution and ***,the whole scalable preparation and ink-functional process can be extended to various metals(including Co,Ni,Cu,and Mn).The introduction of highly active Fe_(1)-NC sites reduces the amount of enzyme used in glucose detection by at least 50%,contributing to the cost reduction of *** strategy in harnessing the SACs onto the carbon inks thus provides a broad prospect for the low-cost and large-scale printing of sensitive sensing devices.

Oleuropein alleviates sepsis-induced acute lung injury via the AMPK/Nrf-2/HO-1 signaling

Objective:To explore the effect of oleuropein on sepsis-induced acute lung injury(ALI)in vitro and in vivo and investigate the underlying ***:In an lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-mediated cell model of sepsis-induced ALI and a cecal ligation and puncture-induced mouse model of septic ALI,CCK-8 assay and flow cytometry analysis were used to detect cell activity and *** and relevant assay kits were used to measure the levels of inflammatory cytokines and oxidative stress,*** blot was applied to determine the expression of apoptosis-and AMP-activated protein kinase(AMPK)/nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor-2(Nrf-2)/heme oxygenase-1(HO-1)signaling-associated ***-1 staining,adenosine triphosphate(ATP)assay kit,and MitoSOX Red assays were performed to detect mitochondrial membrane potential,ATP content,and mitochondrial ROS formation,***,lung injury was evaluated by measuring lung morphological alternations,lung wet-to-dry ratio,myeloperoxidase content,and total protein ***:Oleuropein reduced inflammatory reaction,oxidative damage,and apoptosis,and ameliorated mitochondrial dysfunction in LPS-exposed BEAS-2B cells and mice with septic ***,oleuropein activated the AMPK/Nrf-2/HO-1 signaling ***,these effects of oleuropein were abrogated by an AMPK inhibitor compound ***:Oleuropein can protect against sepsis-induced ALI in vitro and in vivo by activating the AMPK/Nrf-2/HO-1 signaling,which might be a potential therapeutic agent for the treatment of sepsis-induced ALI.

Effect of neutral polymeric bonding agent on tensile mechanical properties and damage evolution of NEPE propellant

Introducing Neutral Polymeric bonding agents(NPBA) into the Nitrate Ester Plasticized Polyether(NEPE)propellant could improve the adhesion between filler/matrix interface, thereby contributing to the development of new generations of the NEPE propellant with better mechanical properties. Therefore,understanding the effects of NPBA on the deformation and damage evolution of the NEPE propellant is fundamental to material design and applications. This paper studies the uniaxial tensile and stress relaxation responses of the NEPE propellant with different amounts of NPBA. The damage evolution in terms of interface debonding is further investigated using a cohesive-zone model(CZM). Experimental results show that the initial modulus and strength of the NEPE propellant increase with the increasing amount of NPBA while the elongation decreases. Meanwhile, the relaxation rate slows down and a higher long-term equilibrium modulus is reached. Experimental and numerical analyses indicate that interface debonding and crack propagation along filler-matrix interface are the dominant damage mechanism for the samples with a low amount of NPBA, while damage localization and crack advancement through the matrix are predominant for the ones with a high amount of NPBA. Finally, crosslinking density tests and simulation results also show that the effect of the bonding agent is interfacial rather than due to the overall crosslinking density change of the binder.

Fluoroacetate dehalogenases(FAcD),a homodimeric enzyme,catalyzes the conversion of fluoroacetic acid to glycolic acid(GoA).It has been proved that the enzyme has a half-of-the-site ***,its catalytic(C)subunit converts the first substrate to a covalent intermediate;then,the non-catalytic(NC)subunit binds a second substrate and promotes the conversion of the intermediate in the C subunit into the final *** the release of the product,the C subunit becomes the NC subunit,and the previous NC subunit becomes the C *** elucidate the detailed mechanism behind this cooperative catalysis,we have conducted microsecond-scale MD simulations along the reaction *** simulations indicate that the substrate in the NC subunit induces W185 and Y141 adopting an open conformation in the C *** opening of W185(C)facilitates the entry of catalytic water,enhancing the catalytic activity for product formation,while the opening of Y141(C)creates an unfavorable environment for product binding,promoting its *** interaction network analysis reveals that the substrate in the NC subunit can induce conformational changes through a conserved water chain at the interface.

BACKGROUND The prognostic value of coronary collateral circulation(CC)in patients undergoing chronic total occlusion(CTO)percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)is *** purpose of the study was to assess the prognostic value of current two CC grading systems and their association with long-term outcomes in patients with CTO underwent *** We consecutively enrolled patients with single-vessel CTO underwent PCI between January 2010 and *** patients were categorized into well-developed or poor-developed collaterals group according to angiographic Werner's CC(grade 2 *** 0–1)or Rentrop(grade 3 *** 0–2)grading *** primary endpoint was 5-year cardiac *** Of 2452 enrolled patients,the overall technical success rate was 74.1%.Well-developed collaterals were present in686 patients(28.0%)defined by Werner's CC grade 2,and in 1145 patients(46.7%)by Rentrop grade *** to Werner's CC grading system,patients with well-developed collaterals had a lower rate of 5-year cardiac death compared with those with poordeveloped collaterals(1.6%vs.3.3%,P=0.02),those with suboptimal recanalization was associated with higher rate of 5-year cardiac death compared with optimal recanalization(4.7%vs.0.8%,P=0.01)and failure patients(4.7%vs.1.6%,P=0.12).However,the similar effect was not shown in Rentrop grading *** In patients with the single-vessel CTO underwent PCI,well-developed collaterals by Werner's CC definition were associated with lower rate of 5-year cardiac ***'s CC grading system had a greater prognostic value than Rentrop grading system in patients with CTO underwent PCI.
