Yiwei Xiaoyu granules for treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis with deficiency syndrome of the spleen and stomach

BACKGROUND The Correa sequence,initiated by Helicobacter pylori(H.pylori),commonly progresses to gastric cancer through the stage of chronic atrophic gastritis(CAG).Although eradication of H.pylori only reduces the risk of gastric cancer,it does not eliminate the risk for neoplastic progression.Yiwei Xiaoyu granules(YWXY)are a commonly used composite preparation in Chinese clinics.However,the pursuit of excellence in clinical trials and the establishment of standardized animal experiments are still needed to contribute to full understanding and application of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of CAG.AIM To demonstrate the effectiveness of YWXY in patients with CAG and spleenstomach deficiency syndrome(DSSS),by alleviating histological scores,improving response rates for pathological lesions,and achieving clinical efficacy in relieving DSSS symptoms.METHODS We designed a double-blind,randomized,controlled trial.The study enrolled seventy-two H.pylori-negative patients(mean age,52.3 years;38 men)who were randomly allocated to either the treatment group or control group in a 1:1 ratio,and treated with 15 g YWXY or 0.36 g Weifuchun(WFC)tablet combined with the respective dummy for 24 wk.The pre-randomization phase resulted in the exclusion of 72 patients:50 participants did not meet the inclusion criteria,12 participants declined to participate,and 10 participants were excluded for various other reasons.Seven visits were conducted during the study,and histopathological examination with target endoscopic biopsy of narrow-band imaging was requested before the first and seventh visits.We also evaluated endoscopic performance scores,total symptom scores,serum pepsinogen and gastrin-17.RESULTS Six patients did not complete the trial procedures.Treatment with YWXY improved the Operative Link on Gastric Intestinal Metaplasia Assessment(OLGIM)stage,compared with WFC(P<0.05).YWXY provided better relief from symptoms of DSSS and better improvement in serum gastric function,compared with WFC(P<0.05).CONCLUSION YWXY

超短强激光脉冲与物质相互作用产生的高次谐波辐射是一种相干的极紫外或软X射线光源,并且在时间上还是阿秒脉冲串。在不同介质中探寻更有效的高次谐波产生方案一直是研究热点。利用飞秒激光烧蚀低密度等离子体羽可将高次谐波扩展到几乎任何固体材料,极大地丰富了媒介的选择性。由于某些材料的等离子体内低电离态离子共振跃迁频率与谐波波长存在匹配,使得在极紫外波段特定阶次谐波表现出明显的共振增强效应,从而能够获得强单色的高次谐波辐射。结合纳米颗粒的近场增强效应和较大的电子回撞截面,极紫外波段的高次谐波转换效率可以进一步得到提高。激光等离子体高次谐波有望产生高脉冲能量、增强阶次可调和高重复频率的相干极紫外辐射。综述单阶谐波共振增强效应的产生原理和研究进展,分析各种优化方法和光场调控手段,并对未来的发展趋势进行展望。

运用学术生命路径方法,研究已故当代中国地理学家、地理教育家王恩涌先生的学术史。在统计了王恩涌1954—2019年192种次学术著述的基础上,在时间维度上建立学术生命路径曲线和学术生命路径表,并系统构建学术树,以分析其学术著述的数量变化和内容变迁,进而构筑个人学术体系。研究发现:①学术生命路径曲线展示的王恩涌学术著述数量在时间轴上的分布呈现出波峰右偏的特征,不仅反映了个人的生命成长路径,也折射出中国当代政治、经济、文化等领域发展的脉动;②根据学术生命路径表展现出的王恩涌研究学科领域在时间轴上的分布变化,进一步划分为4个时期:苏联影响下的自然地理学时期,研究停滞与探索时期,以文化、政治地理为主的多领域探索时期,地理学科社会化推广时期,反映出王恩涌的个人学术偏好迁徙和中国地理学70年间的整体变化轨迹;③综合构筑的学术树勾勒出王恩涌一生经营的学术群落整体景观,连同进而构建的核心学术图谱凝练了其厚重深远的学术影响。

考虑国际海事组织的绿色政策要求,结合航运业绿色发展的现实需求,以减排策略转换引起的船舶航速变化为切入点,运用实物期权理论,构建了两种场景下的竞争博弈模型,探究了航运企业减排策略转换时机决策.研究发现:1)严厉的绿色政策、市场竞争和托运人对航速偏好并不总是能够激励航运企业提前进行减排策略转换.2)设备补贴总是能激励航运企业提前转换减排策略,而运营补贴仅在一定条件下才能生效,且在一定阈值范围内,设备补贴的效果总是优于运营补贴;缩短政策过渡期会使得航运企业的减排策略转换时机提前,但在特定范围内,过渡期的长短将不会对航运企业减排策略转换时机产生影响.3)当货运总规模大且增长率缓慢时,航运企业会提前进行减排策略转换;不同的设备升级环境会对航运企业的减排策略转换时机产生差异性影响.

Unveiling blood pressure-associated genes in aortic cells through integrative analysis of GWAS and RNA modification-associated variants

Background Genome-wide association studies(GWAS)have identified more than a thousand loci for blood pressure(BP).Functional genes in these loci are cell-type specific.The aim of this study was to elucidate potentially functional genes associated with BP in the aorta through the utilization of RNA modification-associated single-nucleotide polymorphisms(RNAm-SNPs).Methods Utilizing large-scale genetic data of 757,601 individuals from the UK Biobank and International Consortium of Blood Pressure consortium,we identified associations between RNAm-SNPs and BP.The association between RNAm-SNPs,gene expression,and BP were examined.Results A total of 355 RNAm-SNPs related to m6A,m1A,m5C,m7G,and A-to-I modification were associated with BP.The related genes were enriched in the pancreatic secretion pathway and renin secretion pathway.The BP GWAS signals were significantly enriched with m6A-SNPs,highlighting the potential functional relevance of m6A in physiological processes influencing BP.Notably,m6A-SNPs in CYP11B1,PDE3B,HDAC7,ACE,SLC4A7,PDE1A,FRK,MTHFR,NPPA,CACNA1D,and HDAC9 were identified.Differential methylation and differential expression of the BP genes in FTO-overexpression and METTL14-knockdown vascular smooth muscle cells were detected.RNAm-SNPs were associated with ascending and descending aorta diameter and the genes showed differential methylation between aortic dissection(AD)cases and controls.In scRNA-seq study,we identified ARID5A,HLA-DPB1,HLA-DRA,IRF1,LINC01091,MCL1,MLF1,MLXIPL,NAA16,NADK,RERG,SRM,and USP53 as differential expression genes for AD in aortic cells.Conclusion The present study identified RNAm-SNPs in BP loci and elucidated the associations between the RNAm-SNPs,gene expression,and BP.The identified BP-associated genes in aortic cells were associated with AD.

越南西北部大象山群孔兹岩系中发育一套含刚玉+尖晶石+石榴石+夕线石组合的富铝岩石块体,它们呈透镜状包体形式赋存于孔兹岩系内。岩石中刚玉+尖晶石+石榴石+夕线石组合的发育指示岩石经历了超高温变质作用的改造。其中尖晶石和石英的共生组合表明了变质温度高于900℃,而利用岩石退变质矿物组合中的黑云母-石榴石温度计,黑云母-斜长石-石榴石-石英组合温度-压力计估算的变质温度压力条件分别为879～917℃、0.90～0.94GPa。岩石中的早期刚玉+夕线石的组合的存在说明岩石变质作用已经从高角闪岩相进入到了麻粒岩相;而峰期变质矿物组合尖晶石+石英的出现,指示了变质温度高于900℃的超高温变质作用。另一方面,退变质过程中钛铁矿的发育表明岩石经历了快速抬升降压的过程。变质作用的P-T轨迹分析揭示出岩石经历了早期同步升温增压后的快速增温达到峰期条件,后经历快速等温减压过程。这种温压条件的变化与板块会聚过程中由于俯冲板片的断离而使软流圈上涌造成热异常的温压条件变化基本一致。通过对超高温变质岩石进行锆石SIMSU-Pb测年获得的结果大于58Ma,推测这次超高温变质与喜马拉雅运动中印度与欧亚大陆的初期会聚-碰撞作用相关。

Oriented Generation of Novel Thermo-Sensitive Genic Male Sterile Lines with Improved Grain Shape and Outcrossing Rate in Early-Season Rice

Two-line hybrid rice with excellent quality is preferred in the Chinese market.However,there is a trade-off between reducing costs for hybrid seed production and lowering the outcrossing rate of the sterile line,which is largely determined by the stigma exsertion rate(SER).In this study,we constructed mutants of male sterility lines with improved grain length(GL)and SER in three elite early-season indica rice varieties through targeted manipulation of the TMS5 and GS3 genes using CRISPR/Cas9-mediated multiplex systems.We obtained a series of marker-free gs3 single mutants and gs3tms5 double mutants with significantly higher SER,longer grains,and increased 1000-grain weight compared with the wild type(WT).Importantly,the typically thermo-sensitive genic male sterile(TGMS)trait with a higher SER was observed in gs3tms5 mutants,and their F1 hybrids exhibited remarkable improvements in grain shape and yield-related traits.Our findings provided an efficient method to generate new valuable TGMS germplasm with improved SER through the mutagenesis of GS3 and TMS5 synergistically,and demonstrated that GS3 had pleiotropic effects on grain size,SER,and grain quality in early-season indica rice.

3D printing is a versatile technology capable of rapidly fabricating intricate geometric structures and enhancing the performance of flexible devices in comparison to conventional fabrication methods.However,3D-printed devices are susceptible to failure as a result of minuscule structural impairments,thereby impacting their overall durability.The utilization of self-healing,biodegradable materials in 3D printing holds immense potential for increasing the longevity and safety of devices,thereby expanding the application prospects for such devices.Nevertheless,enhancing the self-repairing capability of devices and refining the 3D printing performance of self-healing materials are still considerable challenges that need to be addressed to achieve optimal outcomes.This paper reviews recent developments in the field of advancements in 3D printing using self-healing and biodegradable materials.First,it investigates self-healing and biodegradable materials that are compatible with 3D printing techniques,discussing their printability,material properties,and factors that influence print quality.Then,it explores practical applications of selfhealing and biodegradable 3D printing technology in depth.Finally,it critically offers practical perspectives on this topic.

Self-polarized RGB device realized by semipolar micro-LEDs and perovskite-in-polymer films for backlight applications

In backlighting systems for liquid crystal displays,conventional red,green,and blue(RGB)light sources that lack polarization properties can result in a significant optical loss of up to 50%when passing through a polarizer.To address this inefficiency and optimize energy utilization,this study presents a high-performance device designed for RGB polarized emissions.The device employs an array of semipolar blueμLEDs with inherent polarization capabilities,coupled with mechanically stretched films of green-emitting CsPbBr3 nanorods and red-emitting CsPbI3-Cs4PbI6 hybrid nanocrystals.The CsPbBr3 nanorods in the polymer film offer intrinsic polarization emission,while the aligned-wire structures formed by the stable CsPbI3-Cs4PbI6 hybrid nanocrystals contribute to substantial anisotropic emissions,due to their high dielectric constant.The resulting device achieved RGB polarization degrees of 0.26,0.48,and 0.38,respectively,and exhibited a broad color gamut,reaching 137.2%of the NTSC standard and 102.5%of the Rec.2020 standard.When compared to a device utilizing c-plane LEDs for excitation,the current approach increased the intensity of light transmitted through the polarizer by 73.6%.This novel fabrication approach for polarized devices containing RGB components holds considerable promise for advancing next-generation display technologies.
