Hydrogen bond-induced elastic polyzwitterion electrolytes constructed by mussel-inspired autopolymerization for zinc-ion battery

Aqueous zinc-ion batteries（ZIBs） have attracted much interest to realize safe rechargeable batteries with high safety and high energy ***,it is still challenging to address dendrite growth and parasitic reactions in zinc *** propose herein the design concept of hydrogen bond-induced elastic polyzwitterion electrolytes with zincophilic groups for achieving robust ***-inspired autopolymerization has been developed to construct the polyzwitterion electrolytes at room temperature by inducing electron density delocalization at α-position of C=C bond in zwitterion monomer by Zn2+.Specifically,the zwitterionic functional groups construct ion transport channels,and the unique–nH–and SO3-groups co-compete with H2O for coordination with Zn2+and promote the desolvation of hydrated Zn2+,thus achieving a high room temperature ionic conductivity(6.7 mS cm-1) and an increased Zn2+migration number（0.65） for the polyzwitterion *** addition,various interactions such as hydrogen bonding and electrostatic interactions between electrolyte ions and zwitterionic groups impart high stretchability and strength to the polyzwitterion electrolytes,which,combined with SO3-philic（002） crystallographic properties,effectively inhibit the growth of zinc *** a result,rigid/wearable solid-state ZIBs exhibit excellent cycling and C-rate *** believe that the strategy of constructing polyzwitterionic electrolytes with zincophilic groups and ion transport channels opens up a new direction in polymer electrolyte engineering towards safe and high energy batteries.

In this article,in-situ scanning electron microscope characterization of the tensile properties of TiB/Ti-2Al-6Sn titanium matrix composite(TMC)was conducted before and after electroshocking treatment(EST).After EST,the tensile strength increased by 113.2 *** effect of EST on the tensile strength and fracture behavior of TiB was investigated using in-situ characterization of the fracture morphology and crack propagation path of the matrix and *** EST,TiB fracture introduced cracks that extended into the matrix,resulting in material *** EST,the refined TiB improved the bearing capacity of the matrix,thereby improving TMC ***,after EST,the cracks were introduced into the matrix,and resulting the fracture of matrix *** an increase in the external load,cracks in the matrix were observed to propagate to TiB,and the refined TiB was fractured,detached,and pulled out,resulting in the formation of *** the propagation path of the main crack after EST showed that the deflection angle of the main crack *** micro structure of the fracture surface indicated that the fracture of the matrix was plastic,whereas that of TiB was *** EST,the size and area of the dimples increased,confirming the increase in *** results revealed that the comprehensive mechanical properties of TiB/Ti-2Al-6Sn improved after ***,EST is an efficient method for tailoring the micro structures and mechanical properties of TMCs.

Charge density wave(CDW)is a phenomenon that occurs in materials,accompanied by changes in their intrinsic electronic *** study of CDW and its modulation in materials holds tremendous significance in materials research,as it provides a unique approach to controlling the electronic properties of ***_(2) is a typical layered material with a CDW phase at low *** V substitution for Ti in TiSe_(2),we tuned the carrier concentration in V_(x)Ti_(1-x)Se_(2) to study how its electronic structures ***-resolved photoemission spectroscopy(ARPES)shows that the band-folding effect is sustained with the doping level up to 10%,indicating the persistence of the CDW phase,even though the band structure is strikingly different from that of the parent compound TiSe_(2).Though CDW can induce the band fold effect with a driving force from the perspective of electronic systems,our studies suggest that this behavior could be maintained by lattice distortion of the CDW phase,even if band structures deviate from the electron-driven CDW *** work provides a constraint for understanding the CDW mechanism in TiSe_(2),and highlights the role of lattice distortion in the band-folding effect.

Electroacupuncture improves myocardial fibrosis in heart failure rats by attenuating ECM collagen deposition through modulation of TGF-β1/Smads signaling pathway

Background: To explore the effects of electroacupuncture on cardiac function and myocardial fibrosis in rat models of heart failure, and to elucidate the underlying mechanism of electroacupuncture in heart failure treatment. Methods: Healthy male Sprague-Dawley rats were allocated into three groups: Sham group, Model group, and electroacupuncture (Model + EA) group, with each group comprising 8 rats. The model underwent a procedure involving the ligation of the left anterior descending coronary artery to induce a model of heart failure. The Model + EA group was used for 7 consecutive days for electroacupuncture of bilateral Shenmen (HT7) and Tongli (HT5), once a day for 30 min each time. Left ventricular parameters in rats were assessed using a small-animal ultrasound machine to analyze changes in left ventricular end-diastolic volume, left ventricular end-systolic volume, left ventricular ejection fraction, and left ventricular fractional shortening. Serum interleukin-1β (IL-1β), cardiac troponin (cTn), and n-terminal brain natriuretic peptide precursor levels were measured using ELISA. Histopathological changes in rat myocardium were observed through HE staining, while collagen deposition in rat myocardial tissue was assessed using the Masson staining method. Picro sirius red staining, immunohistochemical staining, and RT-qPCR were utilized to distinguish between the various types of collagen deposition. The expression level of TGF-β1 and SMAD2/3/4/7 mRnA in rat myocardial tissues was determined using RT-qPCR. Additionally, western blot analysis was conducted to assess the protein expression levels of TGF-β1, SMAD3/7, and p-SMAD3 in rat myocardial tissues. Results: Compared with the Sham group, the left ventricular ejection fraction and left ventricular fractional shortening values of the Model group were significantly decreased (P ntricular end-diastolic volume and left ventricular end-systolic volume values were remarkably increased (P < 0.01)

Electron push-pull effects induced performance promotion in covalent organic polymer thin films-based memristor for neuromorphic application
