Black-burst based multi-hop broadcast protocols are effective means to disseminate Emergency messages(EMs)in Vehicular ad hoc networks(VANETs).However,Clear to broadcast(CTB)collision will happen and reduce propagation *** at this problem,we propose a Black-burst and multi-channel based multihop broadcast(BMMB)*** with multiple antennas can transmit and sense black-burst at different channels simultaneously based on multi-channel *** with existing black-burst based methods,BMMB shortens the iterative procedure to find out the optimal *** one relay vehicle can be rapidly selected within the optimal segment without CTB *** enables alternative broadcast methods,i.e.,unidirectional broadcast and multi-directional broadcast for straight roads and intersections *** analysis is done for performance evaluation of BMMB,and simulation results demonstrate that BMMB performs better in terms of average one-hop delay and propagation speed.

Mobile edge computing(MEC)is a promising technology for the Internet of Vehicles,especially in terms of application offloading and resource *** existing offloading schemes are sub-optimal,since these offloading strategies consider an application as a *** comparison,in this paper we propose an application-centric framework and build a finer-grained offloading scheme based on application *** our framework,each application is modelled as a directed acyclic graph,where each node represents a subtask and each edge represents the data flow dependency between a pair of *** vehicles and MEC server within the communication range can be used as candidate offloading ***,the offloading involves assigning these computing nodes to *** addition,the proposed offloading scheme deal with the delay constraint of each *** experimental evaluation show that,compared to existing non-partitioning offloading schemes,this proposed one effectively improves the performance of the application in terms of execution time and throughput.

Adaptive traffic light scheduling based on realtime traffic information processing has proven effective for urban traffic congestion management. However, fine-grained information regarding individual vehicles is difficult to acquire through traditional data collection techniques and its accuracy cannot be guaranteed because of congestion and harsh environments. In this study, we first build a pipeline model based on vehicle-to-infrastructure communication, which is a salient technique in vehicular adhoc networks. This model enables the acquisition of fine-grained and accurate traffic information in real time via message exchange between vehicles and roadside units. We then propose an intelligent traffic light scheduling method (ITLM) based on a “demand assignment” principle by considering the types and turning intentions of vehicles. In the context of this principle, a signal phase with more vehicles will be assigned a longer green time. Furthermore, a green-way traffic light scheduling method (GTLM) is investigated for special vehicles (e.g., ambulances and fire engines) in emergency scenarios. Signal states will be adjusted or maintained by the traffic light control system to keep special vehicles moving along smoothly. Comparative experiments demonstrate that the ITLM reduces average wait time by 34%-78% and average stop frequency by 12%-34% in the context of traffic management. The GTLM reduces travel time by 22%^44% and 30%-55% under two types of traffic conditions and achieves optimal performance in congested scenarios.

To solve the routing and wavelength assignment problem in the optical network, this paper put forward the metric model with sparse wavelength conversion and routing algorithm with pruning （RAP） in order to efficiently realize the resource management in the unified way. Related methods with dynamic and adaptation characters considered the link state conditions and certain heuristic information. They can be applied to current network environments. In particular, the simulation was made according to the selfsimilar traffic and the results showed that the corresponding methods not only provided service differentiation but also reduced the overall average blocking Drobabilitv.

Performance of wireless mesh networks can be greatly improved by spatial reuse （SR）, therefore, lots of algorithms have been proposed to maximize the number of concurrent transmis- sions. However, most methods only considered the interference brought by the sender nodes. In this paper, we study the interfer- ence model in WiMAX mesh networks and propose a minimal SR-pair interference model to perform concurrent transmissions in both uplink and downlink directions. Simulation results show that our model is more efficient and stable, i.e., it increases the number of concurrent transmissions and its performance is constant and independent of transmission directions.

This paper studies a state feedback fuzzy adaptive control scheme for uncertain nonlinear systems with input deadzone. Based on backstepping method, a fuzzy adaptive controller is designed to eliminate the effects of dead-zone nonlinear and disturbance, and the scheme only needs to design one fuzzy parameter update law. In addition, it is proved that both the tracking performance and closed-loop systems stability can be guaranteed. Finally, the availability of the control scheme is verified through the simulation results.
