The available modelling data shortage issue makes it difficult to guarantee the performance of data-driven building energy prediction(BEP)models for both the newly built buildings and existing information-poor *** knowledge transfer learning(KTL)and data incremental learning(DIL)can address the data shortage issue of such *** new building scenarios with continuous data accumulation,the performance of BEP models has not been fully investigated considering the data accumulation ***,which can learn dynamic features from accumulated data adapting to the developing trend of new building time-series data and extend BEP model's knowledge,has been rarely *** studies have shown that the performance of KTL models trained with fixed data can be further improved in scenarios with dynamically changing ***,this study proposes an improved transfer learning cross-BEP strategy continuously updated using the coarse data incremental(CDI)*** hybrid KTL-DIL strategy(LSTM-DANN-CDI)uses domain adversarial neural network(DANN)for KLT and long short-term memory(LSTM)as the Baseline BEP *** evaluation is conducted to systematically qualify the effectiveness and applicability of KTL and improved ***-world data from six-type 36 buildings of six types are adopted to evaluate the performance of KTL and KTL-DIL in data-driven BEP tasks considering factors like the model increment time interval,the available target and source building data *** with LSTM,results indicate that KTL(LSTM-DANN)and the proposed KTL-DIL(LSTM-DANN-CDI)can significantly improve the BEP performance for new buildings with limited *** with the pure KTL strategy LSTM-DANN,the improved KTL-DIL strategy LSTM-DANN-CDI has better prediction performance with an average performance improvement ratio of 60%.

Touch-sensitive screens are crucial components of wearable *** such as reduced graphene oxide(rGO),carbon nanotubes(CNTs),and graphene offer promising solutions for flexible touch-sensitive ***,when stacked with flexible substrates to form multilayered capacitive touching sensors,these materials often suffer from substrate delamination in response to deformation;this is due to the materials having different Young’s modulus *** results in failure to offer accurate touch screen *** this work,we demonstrate an induced charge-based mutual capacitive touching sensor capable of high-precision touch *** is enabled by electron trapping and polarization effects related to mixed-coordinated bonding between copper nanoparticles and vertically grown graphene ***,we used an electron cyclotron resonance system to directly fabricate graphene-metal nanofilms(GMNFs)using carbon and copper,which are firmly adhered to flexible *** being subjected to 3000 bending actions,we observed almost no change in touch *** screen interaction system,which has a signal-to-noise ratio of 41.16 dB and resolution of 650 dpi,was tested using a handwritten Chinese character recognition trial and achieved an accuracy of 94.82%.Taken together,these results show the promise of touch-sensitive screens that use directly fabricated GMNFs for wearable devices.

BACKGROUND Bronchial asthma is closely related to the occurrence of attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADHD)in children,which can easily have adverse effects on children’s learning and social *** have shown that childhood asthma can increase the risk of ADHD and the core symptoms of *** with children with ADHD alone,children with asthma and ADHD are more likely to show high levels of hyperactivity,hyperactive-impulsive and other externalizing behaviors and anxiety in clinical practice and have more symptoms of somatization and emotional *** To explore the relationship between ADHD in children and bronchial asthma and to analyze its influencing *** This retrospective cohort study was conducted at Dongying People's Hospital from September 2018 to August *** diagnosed with ADHD at this hospital were selected as the ADHD group,while healthy children without ADHD who underwent physical examinations during the same period served as the control *** and parental data were collected for all participating children,and multivariate logistic regression analysis was employed to identify risk factors for comorbid asthma in children with *** differences were detected between the ADHD group and the control group in terms of family history ofasthma and allergic diseases, maternal complications during pregnancy, maternal use of asthma and allergymedications during pregnancy, maternal anxiety and depression during pregnancy, and parental relationshipstatus (P < 0.05). Out of the 183 children in the ADHD group, 25 had comorbid asthma, resulting in a comorbidityrate of 13.66% (25/183), compared to the comorbidity rate of 2.91% (16/549) among the 549 children in the controlgroup. The difference in the asthma comorbidity rate between the two groups was statistically significant (P <0.05). Cardiac injury and sustained cardiovascular abnormalities in long-COVID syndrome,***-acute sequelae of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)have emerged as a debilitating health burden that has posed challenges for management of pre-existing cardiovascular conditions and other associated chronic comorbidities in the most vulnerable group of patients recovered from acute COVID-19.A clear and evidence-based guideline for treating cardiac issues of long-COVID syndrome is still *** this review,we have summarized the common cardiac symptoms reported in the months after acute COVID-19 illness and further evaluated the possible pathogenic factors underlying the pathophysiology process of *** mechanistic understanding of how Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)damages the heart and vasculatures is critical in developing targeted therapy and preventive measures for limiting the viral *** the currently available therapeutic interventions,a considerable portion of patients recovered from severe COVID-19 have reported a reduced functional reserve due to ***,a rigorous and comprehensive cardiac rehabilitation program with individualized exercise protocols would be instrumental for the patients with long-COVID to regain the physicalﬁtness levels comparable to their pre-illness baseline.

Myocarditis–A silent killer in athletes:Comparative analysis on the evidence before and after COVID-19 pandemic

Myocarditis is a rare cardiomyocyte inﬂammatory process,typically caused by viruses,with potentially devastating cardiac sequalae in both competitive athletes and in the general *** into myocarditis prevalence in the Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)era suggests that infection with Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus(SARS-CoV-2)is an independent risk factor for myocarditis,which is conﬁrmed mainly through cardiovascular magnetic resonance *** studies indicated that athletes have a decreased risk of myocarditis after recent COVID-19 infection compared to the general ***,given the unique nature of competitive athletics with their frequent participation in high-intensity exercise,athletes possess distinct factors of susceptibility for the development of myocarditis and its subsequent severe cardiac complications(e.g.,sudden cardiac death,fulminant heart failure,etc.).Under this context,this review focuses on comparing myocarditis in athletes versus non-athletes,owing special attention to the distinct clinical presentations and outcomes of myocarditis caused by different viral pathogens such as cytomegalovirus,Epstein-Barr virus,human herpesvirus-6,human immunodeﬁciency virus,and Parvovirus B19,both before and after the COVID-19 pandemic,as compared with *** illustrating distinct clinical presentations and outcomes of myocarditis in athletes versus non-athletes,we also highlight the critical importance of early detection,vigilant monitoring,and effective management of viral and non-viral myocarditis in athletes and the necessity for further optimization of the return-to-play guidelines for athletes in the COVID-19 era,in order to minimize the risks for the rare but devastating cardiac fatality.

Experimental study of the damage characteristics of rocks containing non-penetrating cracks under cyclic loading

The damage evolution process of non-penetrating cracks often causes some unexpected engineering *** specimens containing non-penetrating crack(s)are used to study the damage evolution and characteristics under cyclic *** results show that under cyclic loading,the relationship between the number of non-penetrating crack(s)and the characteristic parameters(cyclic number,peak stress,peak strain,failure stress,and failure strain)of the pre-cracked specimens can be represented by a decreasing linear *** damage evolution equation is fitted by calibrating the accumulative plastic strain for each cycle,and the damage constitutive equation is proposed by the concept of effective ***,non-penetrating cracks are more likely to cause uneven stress distribution,damage accumulation,and local failure of *** local failure can change the stress distribution and relieve the inhibition of non-penetrating crack extension and eventually cause a dramatic destruction of the ***,the evolution process caused by non-penetrating cracks can be regarded as one of the important reasons for inducing *** results are expected to improve the understanding of the process of spalling formation and rockburst and can be used to analyze the stability of rocks or rock structures.

Mesoporous molecular sieve confined phase change materials with high absorption,enhanced thermal conductivity,and cooling energy charging/discharging capacity

The biggest challenge for organic phase change materials(PCMs)used in cold energy storage is to maintain high heat storage capacity while reducing the leakage risk of PCMs during the phase transition *** is crucial for expanding their applications in the more demanding cold storage *** this study,novel formstable low-temperature composite PCMs are prepared with mesoporous materials,namely SBA-15 and CMK-3(which are prepared using the template method),as supporting matrices and dodecane as the *** to the combined effects of capillary forces within mesoporous materials and interactions among dodecane molecules,both dodecane/SBA-15 and dodecane/CMK-3 exhibit outstanding shape stability and thermal cycling stability even after 200 heating/cooling *** comparison to those of dodecane/SBA-15,dodecane/CMK-3 exhibits superior cold storage performance and higher thermal ***,the phase transition temperature of dodecane/CMK-3 is-8.81℃ with a latent heat of 122.4 J·g^(-1).Additionally,it has a thermal conductivity of 1.21 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1),which is 9.45 times that of dodecane *** these highlight its significant potential for applications in the area of cold energy storage.
