The ^(232)Th(n,f)cross section is very important in basic nuclear physics and applications based on the Th/U fuel *** the time-of-flight method and a multi-cell fast-fission ionization chamber,a novel measurement of the^(232)Th(n,f)cross sec-tion relative to^(235)U in the 1–200 MeV range was performed at the China Spallation Neutron Source Back-n white neutron source(Back-n).The fission event-neutron energy spectra of^(232)Th and^(235)U fission cells were measured in the single-bunch *** 232Th/235U fission cross-sectional ratios were obtained,and the measurement uncertainties were 2.5–3.7%for energies in the 2–20 MeV range and 3.6–6.2%for energies in the 20–200 MeV ***^(232)Th(n,f)cross section was obtained by introducing the standard cross section of^(235)U(n,f).The results were compared with those of previous theoreti-cal calculations,measurements,and *** measured 232Th fission cross section agreed with the main evaluation results in terms of the experimental uncertainty,and 232Th fission resonances were observed in the 1–3 MeV *** present results provide^(232)Th(n,f)cross-sectional data for the evaluation and design of Th/U cycle nuclear systems.

Chronic liver injury leads to progressive liver fibrosis and ultimately cirrhosis,a major cause of morbidity and mortality ***,there are currently no effective anti-fibrotic therapies available,especially for latestage patients,which is partly attributed to the major knowledge gap regarding liver cell heterogeneity and cellspecific responses in different fibrosis *** reveal the multicellular networks regulating mammalian liver fibrosis from mild to severe phenotypes,we generated a single-nucleus transcriptomic atlas encompassing 49919nuclei corresponding to all main liver cell types at different stages of murine carbon tetrachloride(CCl_(4))-induced progressive liver *** analysis distinguished the sequential responses to injury of hepatocytes,hepatic stellate cells and endothelial ***,we reconstructed the cell-cell interactions and gene regulatory networks implicated in these *** integrative analyses uncovered previously overlooked aspects of hepatocyte proliferation exhaustion and disrupted pericentral metabolic functions,dysfunction for clearance by apoptosis of activated hepatic stellate cells,accumulation of pro-fibrotic signals,and the switch from an anti-angiogenic to a pro-angiogenic program during CCl_(4)-induced progressive liver *** dataset thus constitutes a useful resource for understanding the molecular basis of progressive liver fibrosis using a relevant animal model.

Histopathological classification and location of consecutively operated meningiomas at a single institution in China from 2001 to 2010

Background Meningioma is one of the most common primary tumors of the central nervous system, but there are not many detailed studies on the sex, age, subtypes and locations of large series. This study was a retrospective analysis of the characteristics of meningioma cases consecutively operated on at a single institution in China from 2001 to 2010. Methods This study investigated the demographic background of 7084 meningioma cases, and the subtypes and locations of the tumors. Sex and age distributions were analyzed, and the pathological subtypes were classified according to the World Health Organization （WHO） classification. The location of the meningiomas was also categorized. Results The female：male ratio of the 7084 cases was 2.34：1. The mean age was 51.4 years （range, 11 months-86 years）. The mean age of cases of WHO grade I meningioma was significantly older than that of grade II or III meningiomas （P 〈0.001, Fisher＇s Least Significant Digit test）. There was a significantly higher female：male ratio in WHO grade I meningiomas than in grade II or grade III meningiomas （2.57, 1.03 and 0.76, respectively; P 〈0.001, X^2 test）. Meningothelial （n=2061） and fibrous meningiomas （n=3556） were the most common subtypes, comprising 79.3% of all meningiomas. All meningioma cases were classified into 23 locations in this study, with the cerebral convexity the most common site （38.33%, n=2722）. Cases with uncommon locations such as extra-cranial and sylvian fissure meningiomas were also present in this series. Conclusions Female predominance was found for benign meningiomas, while malignant subtypes showed male predominance. The mean age of patients with WHO grade Ⅰ meningiomas was older than that of patients with higher-grade tumors. Meningothelial and fibrous meningiomas were the most common subtypes. The cerebral convexity was the most common *** location.

BACKGROUND Whether regional lymphadenectomy(RL)should be routinely performed in patients with T1b gallbladder cancer(GBC)remains a subject of *** To investigate whether RL can improve the prognosis of patients with T1b *** We studied a multicenter cohort of patients with T1b GBC who underwent surgery between 2008 and 2016 at 24 hospitals in 13 provinces in *** logrank test and Cox proportional hazards model were used to compare the overall survival(OS)of patients who underwent cholecystectomy(Ch)+RL and those who underwent Ch *** investigate whether combined hepatectomy(Hep)improved OS in T1b patients,we studied patients who underwent Ch+RL to compare the OS of patients who underwent combined Hep and patients who did *** Of the 121 patients(aged 61.9±10.1 years),77(63.6%)underwent Ch+RL,and 44(36.4%)underwent Ch ***(9.1%)patients in the Ch+RL group had lymph node *** 5-year OS rate was significantly higher in the Ch+RL group than in the Ch group(76.3%vs 56.8%,P=0.036).Multivariate analysis showed that Ch+RL was significantly associated with improved OS(hazard ratio:0.51;95%confidence interval:0.26-0.99).Among the 77 patients who underwent Ch+RL,no survival improvement was found in patients who underwent combined Hep(5-year OS rate:79.5%for combined Hep and 76.1%for no Hep;P=0.50).CONCLUSION T1b GBC patients who underwent Ch+RL had a better prognosis than those who underwent ***+Ch showed no improvement in prognosis in T1b GBC *** recommended by both the National Comprehensive Cancer Network and Chinese Medical Association guidelines,RL was only performed in 63.6%of T1b GBC *** Ch+RL should be advised in T1b GBC.

Background:It has been a global trend that increasing complications related to pelvic floor surgeries have been reported over *** current study aimed to outline the development of Chinese pelvic floor surgeries related to pelvic organ prolapse(POP)over the past 14 years and investigate the potential influence of enhanced monitoring conducted by the Chinese Association of Urogynecology since ***:A total of 44,594 women with POP who underwent pelvic floor surgeries between October 1,2004 and September 30,2018 were included from 22 tertiary academic medical *** data were reported voluntarily and obtained from a *** compared the proportion of each procedure in the 7 years before and 7 years after September 30,*** data were analyzed by performing Z test(one-sided).Results:The number of different procedures during October 1,2011-September 30,2018 was more than twice that during October 1,2004-September 30,*** pelvic floor surgeries related to POP,the rate of synthetic mesh procedures increased from 38.1%(5298/13,906)during October 1,2004-September 30,2011 to 46.0%(14,107/30,688)during October 1,2011-September 30,2018,whereas the rate of non-mesh procedures decreased from 61.9%(8608/13,906)to 54.0%(16,581/30,688)(Z=15.53,P<0.001).Regarding synthetic mesh surgeries related to POP,the rates of transvaginal placement of surgical mesh(TVM)procedures decreased from 94.1%(4983/5298)to 82.2%(11,603/14,107)(Z=20.79,P<0.001),but the rate of laparoscopic sacrocolpopexy(LSC)procedures increased from 5.9%(315/5298)to 17.8%(2504/14,107).Conclusions:The rate of synthetic mesh procedures increased while that of non-mesh procedures decreased *** rate of TVM procedures decreased while the rate of LSC procedures increased *** registration number:NCT03620565,https://***.

通过生物信息学技术分析比较认知完好的老年人(60~99岁)与中青年人(20~59岁)脑部海马组织(hippocampal tissue,HC)的基因芯片数据,初步筛选出差异表达基因,进而预测治疗脑老化的潜在中药药物。从基因表达数据库(Gene Expression Omnibus,GEO)下载GSE11882基因芯片,基于R语言软件筛选差异表达基因(differentially expressed genes, DEGs),通过STRING数据库、Cytoscape软件及其插件分析得到差异表达基因的关键基因,对关键基因进行基因本体论(Gene Ontology,GO)及京都基因与基因组百科全书(Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes,KEGG)分析,通过关键基因与医学本体信息检索平台(Coremine Medical)相互映射,筛选治疗脑老化的中药,并构建"药物-活性成分-作用靶点"网络。筛选出268个差异表达基因,包括246个下调基因和22个上调基因。差异表达基因共得出15个关键基因,关键基因主要参与白细胞迁移、中性粒细胞活化、细胞趋化运动、小胶质细胞活化、免疫效应过程的调节等生物过程。KEGG通路分析显示关键基因主要富集于炎症过程、免疫反应、细胞因子-细胞因子受体相互作用、PI3K-Akt信号通路、Rap1信号通路、趋化因子信号通路、Toll样受体信号通路、产生Ig A的肠道免疫网络通路等。筛选得到治疗脑老化的潜在中药为三七、人参、丹参、黄芪等。差异表达基因和关键基因的分析促进了对脑老化机制的理解,该研究为脑老化中药干预的新药开发提供了潜在基因靶标与研发思路。

Granulomatous lobular mastitis(GLM) is a rare and chronic benign inflammatory disease of the breast. Difficulties exist in the management of GLM for many front-line surgeons and medical specialists who care for patients with inflammatory disorders of the breast. This consensus is summarized to establish evidence-based recommendations for the management of GLM. Literature was reviewed using PubMed from January 1, 1971 to July 31, 2020. Sixty-six international experienced multidisciplinary experts from 11 countries or regions were invited to review the *** of evidence were determined using the American College of Physicians grading system, and recommendations were discussed until consensus. Experts discussed and concluded 30 recommendations on historical definitions,etiology and predisposing factors, diagnosis criteria, treatment, clinical stages, relapse and recurrence of GLM. GLM was recommended as a widely accepted definition. In addition, this consensus introduced a new clinical stages and management algorithm for GLM to provide individual treatment strategies. In conclusion, diagnosis of GLM depends on a combination of history, clinical manifestations, imaging examinations, laboratory examinations and *** approach to treatment of GLM should be applied according to the different clinical stage of GLM. This evidencebased consensus would be valuable to assist front-line surgeons and medical specialists in the optimal management of GLM.

With accumulating evidence of transcatheter aortic valve replacement(TAVR)worldwide,it is gradually realized that patients being treated are different across different coun-tries,including but not limited to their age,habitus,disease etiology,aortic valve morphology,and sizes of structures.[1]In China,the average age of TAVR patients is around 5 years younger than industrialized countries,[2]making Chinese patients a good predictive sample of what the industrialized countries might see in TAVR screening in the near future due to the expansion of this technique to younger patients,but anatomical features appreciated from multi-slice computed tomography(MSCT)in the Chinese patient population have not been well demonstrated.

利用“神光-Ⅱ”装置第九路输出的倍频激光,采用直接驱动方式进行了金(Au)材料状态方程(EOS)实验。首先采用透镜列阵均匀辐照技术对输出的倍频激光进行了光束匀滑,平面靶实验结果显示冲击波具有良好的平面性,间接表明靶面上驱动激光强度的空间分布比较均匀。同时采用多台阶靶技术,对驱动冲击波的传播稳定性进行了实验测量,结果表明冲击波在实验测试的靶厚度范围内都是稳定传播的,实验结果与数值模拟结果也符合得较好。在此基础上,采用阻抗匹配方法,实验测量了金材料的状态方程,在金材料中获得了高达2.7 TPa的冲击压强,冲击波速度测量相对扩展不确定度达2%(K=2),并将实验数据与已有实验数据及状态方程模型进行了比较。

针对神光Ⅱ第九路激光条件,利用1维JB程序和多台阶靶技术对冲击波在铝-金阻抗匹配靶中的传播稳定性进行了理论和实验研究,实验结果与理论结果基本吻合。结果表明,激光驱动冲击波在铝-金阻抗匹配靶中传播时,高阻抗待测材料金中的冲击波稳定传播最大距离急剧减小。因此,在进行铝-金阻抗匹配靶物理参数设计时,应保证高阻抗材料金台阶厚度满足冲击波传播稳定性,然后再按照阻抗匹配实验中两种材料的冲击波速度比来确定低阻抗标准材料铝的台阶厚度。根据神光Ⅱ第九路激光条件,铝-金阻抗匹配靶中铝基底厚度选取为30μm左右较好,金台阶和铝台阶厚度应分别小于10μm和17μm。
