The application of chondroitinase requires consideration of the complex microenvironment of the *** previous research reported a marine-derived sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS)-resistant chondroitinase *** study further investigated the mechanism of VhChlABC resistance to *** on the hydrophobic cluster on its strong hydrophilic surface,it was found that the reduction of hydrophobicity of surface residues Ala181,Met182,Met183,Ala184,Val185,and Ile305 significantly reduced the SDS resistance and *** dynamics(MD)simulation and molecular docking analysis showed that I305G had more conformational flexibility around residue 305 than wild type(WT),which was more conducive to SDS insertion and *** affinity of A181G,M182A,M183A,V185A and I305G to SDS was significantly higher than that of *** conclusion,the surface hydrophobic microenvironment composed of six residues was the structural basis for SDS *** feature could prevent the binding of SDS and the destruction of hydrophobic packaging by increasing the rigid conformation of protein and reducing the binding force of *** study provides a new idea for the rational design of SDS-resistant proteins and may further promote chondroitinase research in the targeted therapy of lung diseases under the pressure of pulmonary surfactant.

Recovery of microbial functions is one of the critical processes in the nutrient cycling of bauxite residue for improving *** is considered to be effective to increase microbial diversity and drive the development of the microbial community,but its effect on microbial carbon metabolism has not been *** present study evaluated the effects of phosphogypsum(PG),straw(SF)and phosphogypsum plus straw(PGSF)on physicochemical properties,enzyme activities,and microbial carbon metabolism activities in bauxite *** 180 days incubation,PG,SF and PGSF treatment significantly reduced the residue pH from 10.85 to 8.64,9.39 and 8.06,*** to CK treatment,SF treatment significantly increased the content of total organic carbon(TOC)and organic carbon fractions(DOC,MBC,EOC,and POC).In addition,straw addition significantly increased glucosidase,cellulose,urease,and alkaline phosphatase by 7.2-9.1 times,5.8-7.1 times,11.1-12.5 times,and 1.1-2.2 times,*** Biolog results showed that straw addition significantly increased microbial metabolic activity(AWCD)and diversity in bauxite *** analysis indicated total nitrogen(TN)and carbon fractions(POC,MBC and DOC)were the most important environmental factors affecting microbial metabolic activity and diversity in bauxite *** findings provided us with a biogeochemical perspective to reveal soil formation in bauxite residue and suggested that nutrient supplement and regulation of salinity-alkalinity benefit the establishment of microbial communities and functions in bauxite residue.

Oil film vortex severely reduces the stability of hydrostatic bearings. A solid-liquid interface with drag and slip properties can weaken the oil film vortex of the bearing. Here, a combined picosecond laser ablation and chemical modification method is proposed to prepare surfaces with microbulge array structure on 6061 aluminum alloy substrates. Because of the low surface energy of the perfluorododecyltriethoxysilane modification and the bulge geometry of the microbulge array structure, the surface shows excellent superhydrophobicity. The optimum contact angle in air for water is 164°, and that for oil is 139°. Two surfaces with “lotus-leaf effect” and “rose-petal effect” were obtained by controlling the processing parameters. The drag reduction properties of superhydrophobic surfaces were systematically investigated with slip lengths of 22.26 and 36.25 μm for deionized water and VG5 lubricant, respectively. In addition, the superhydrophobic surface exhibits excellent mechanical durability and thermal stability. The proposed method provides a new idea for vortex suppression in hydrostatic bearings and improves the stability of bearings in high-speed operation.

Birds exhibit a high degree of migratory diversity,which is influenced by various ecological factors and life history *** studies on tropical bird migration,of which research is scarce,and comparing it with temperate birds can enhance our understanding of bird migration behaviour and its underlying *** this study,we explored the migration behaviour of a breeding population of the Barn Swallow(Hirundo rustica)in Zhanjiang,southern China,a region located in the northern tropics,using light-level *** 2021 to 2023,we deployed geolocators on 92 breeding swallows and retrieved geolocators successfully from 23 *** swallows all exhibited migratory behaviour,and wintering on various islands in Southeast *** displayed sex differences in their wintering *** males concentrated in Borneo,while females primarily chose Borneo but also dispersed to the Philippines,South China Sea,and Vietnam for *** studied swallow population adopted a seasonal migration pattern of“indirect in autumn,direct in spring”,bypassing the ecological barrier of the South China Sea in autumn and tending to directly cross it in spring ***,the distance and duration of autumn migration was significantly longer than those of the spring *** to temperate Barn Swallows,the Barn Swallow population breeding in Zhanjiang adopts a pattern of“intra-tropical migration”and initiates autumn migration *** formation of their migration pattern may be limited by ecological and physiological factors.

The calculation of the factor of safety(FOS)is an important means of slope *** paper proposed an improved double strength reductionmethod(DRM)to analyze the safety of layered *** physical properties of different soil layers of the slopes are different,so the single coefficient strength reduction method(SRM)is not enough to reflect the actual critical state of the *** that the water content of the soil in the natural state is the main factor for the strength of the soil,the attenuation law of shear strength of clayey soil changing with water content is *** paper also establishes the functional relationship between different reduction ***,a USDFLD subroutine is programmed using the secondary development function of finite element *** the relationship between field variables and calculation time realizes double strength reduction applicable to the layered ***,by comparing the calculation results of different examples,it is proved that the stress and displacement distribution of the critical slope state obtained by the improved method is more realistic,and the calculated safety factor is more *** newly proposedmethod considers the difference of intensity attenuation between different soil layers under natural conditions and avoids the disadvantage of the strength reduction method with uniform parameters,which provides a new idea and method for stability analysis of layered and complex slopes.

Efficacy and safety of electroacupuncture for insomnia:A systematic review and meta-analysis
