Calculating the shading reduction coefficient of photovoltaic system efficiency using the anisotropic sky scattering model

The front-row shading reduction coefficient is a key parameter used to calculate the system efficiency of a photovoltaic(PV)power station.Based on the Hay anisotropic sky scattering model,the variation rule of solar radiation intensity on the surface of the PV array during the shaded period is simulated,combined with the voltage-current characteristics of the PV modules,and the shadow occlusion operating mode of the PV array is modeled.A method for calculating the loss coefficient of front shadow occlusion based on the division of the PV cell string unit and Hay anisotropic sky scattering model is proposed.This algorithm can accurately evaluate the degree of influence of the PV array layout,wiring mode,array spacing,PV module specifications,and solar radiation on PV power station system efficiency.It provides a basis for optimizing the PV array layout,reducing system loss,and improving PV system efficiency.

Objective:Although there have been improvements in targeted therapy and immunotherapy,the majority of lung adenocarcinoma(LUAD)patients still lack effective therapies.Consequently,it is urgent to screen for new diagnosis biomarkers and pharmacological targets.Junctional adhesion molecule-like protein(JAML)was considered to be an oncogenic protein and may be a novel therapeutic target in LUAD.Kaempferol is a natural flavonoid that exhibits antitumor activities in LUAD.However,the effect of kaempferol on JAML is still unknown.Methods:Small interfering RNA was used to knockdown JAML expression.The cell viability was determined using the cell counting kit-8 assay.The proliferation of LUAD cells was evaluated using the 5-ethynyl-2'-deoxyuridine incorporation assay.The migration and invasion of LUAD cells were evaluated by transwell assays.Molecular mechanisms were explored by Western blotting.Results:JAML knockdown suppressed proliferation,migration and invasion of LUAD cells,and JAML deficiency restrained epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT)via inactivating the phosphoinositide 3-kinase/protein kinase B/mammalian target of rapamycin(PI3K/AKT/mTOR)pathway.Using a PI3K activator(740Y-P),rescue experiments showed that phenotypes to JAML knockdown in LUAD cells were dependent on the PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway.Kaempferol also inhibited proliferation,migration and invasion of A549 and H1299 cells and partially suppressed EMT through the PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway.Knockdown of JAML ameliorated the inhibitory effect of kaempferol on LUAD cells.Kaempferol exerted anticancer effects by targeting JAML.Conclusion:JAML is a novel target for kaempferol against LUAD cells.

The diamondback moth,Plutella xylostella(L.),is one of the most destructive migratory pest species of cruciferous vegetables worldwide and has developed resistance to most of the insecticides used for its control.The migration regularity,migratory behavior,and relationship between flight and reproduction of P.xylostella have been widely reported.However,the effect of migration on insecticide resistance in this pest is still unclear.In this study,the effect of migration on P.xylostella resistance to seven insecticides was investigated using populations across the Bohai Sea that were collected in the early and late seasons during 2017–2019.The bioassay results showed that the early season populations of P.xylostella from south China possessed much higher resistance to insecticides because of intensive insecticide application;alternatively,the late season populations migrated from northeast China,where the insecticides were only used occasionally,showed much lower insecticide resistance.The genome re-sequencing results revealed that,among the eight mutations involved in insecticide resistance,the frequencies of two acetylcholinesterase mutations(A298S and G324A)responsible for organophosphorus insecticide resistance were significantly decreased in the late season populations.The results indicated that P.xylostella migration between tropical and temperate regions significantly delayed the development of insecticide resistance.These findings illustrated the effect of regional migration on the evolution of insecticide resistance in P.xylostella,and provided foundational information for further research on the relationship between migration and insecticide resistance development in other insects.

Background:Aeromedical evacuation of patients with burn trauma is an important transport method in times of peace and war,during which patients are exposed to prolonged periods of hypobaric hypoxia;however,the effects of such exposure on burn injuries,particularly on burn-induced lung injuries,are largely unexplored.This study aimed to determine the effects of hypobaric hypoxia on burn-induced lung injuries and to investigate the underlying mechanism using a rat burn model.Methods:A total of 40 male Wistar rats were randomly divided into four groups(10 in each group):sham burn(SB)group,burn in normoxia condition(BN)group,burn in hypoxia condition(BH)group,and burn in hypoxia condition with treatment intervention(BHD)group.Rats with 30%total body surface area burns were exposed to hypobaric hypoxia(2000 m altitude simulation)or normoxia conditions for 4 h.Deoxyribonuclease I(DNase I)was administered systemically as a treatment intervention.Systemic inflammatory mediator and mitochondrial deoxyribonucleic acid(mtDNA)levels were determined.A histopathological evaluation was performed and the acute lung injury(ALI)score was determined.Malonaldehyde(MDA)content,myeloperoxidase(MPO)activity,and the nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain-like receptor family pyrin domain-containing 3(NLRP3)inflammasome level were determined in lung tissues.Data among groups were compared using analysis of variance followed by Tukey’s test post hoc analysis.Results:Burns resulted in a remarkably higher level of systemic inflammatory cytokines and mtDNA release,which was further heightened by hypobaric hypoxia exposure(P<0.01).Moreover,hypobaric hypoxia exposure gave rise to increased NLRP3 inflammasome expression,MDA content,and MPO activity in the lung(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Burn-induced lung injuries were exacerbated,as shown by the histopathological evaluation and ALI score(P<0.01).Administration of DNase I markedly reduced mtDNA release and systemic inflammatory cytokine production.Furthermore,the NLRP3 inflammasome level in lung tissu

Disinfection by-products(DBPs), formed from the reactions of disinfectants with natural organic matter and halides in drinking water, were considered to be cytotoxic and genotoxic, and might trigger various cancers. The relatively low concentration of DBPs in finished water(low μg/L or even ng/L levels) and the interference from water matrix inhibited in situ determination of DBPs. Moreover, the further formation and degradation of DBPs by disinfectants during the holding time(several hours to several days) from sample collection to analysis could adversely affect the determination of DBPs. To obtain accurate, precise and reliable data of DBP occurrence and formation, robust and reliable sample preservation is indispensable. However, the commonly used quenching agents(e.g., sodium sulfite, sodium thiosulfate, and ascorbic acid) for sample preservation can decompose reactive DBPs by reductive dehalogenation. This study evaluated the performance of N-acetylcysteine(NAC) and glutathione(GSH) as quenching agents for the analysis of halogenated DBPs by investigating the stoichiometry of the disinfectant-quenching agent reaction, the formation of DBPs during chlor(am)ination of NAC or GSH, and the effects of NAC or GSH on the stability of 18 individual DBPs and total organic halogen(TOX). Based on the results of this study, NAC and GSH were considered to be ideal quenching agents for the analysis of most DBPs and TOX, except halonitromethanes.

With the unique characteristics,electromagnetic launch technology is applicable to launch shipborne anti-torpedo torpedo(ATT).This paper aims to establish an analytic model to pre-evaluate the capture probability of the electromagnetic launched ATT.The mathematics model of the multi-stage coilgun and the trajectory of the ATT is established for analysis.The influence factors of the capture probability are analyzed respectively,including the entry point dispersion of the ATT and the position dispersion of the incoming torpedo.Adopting the advanced angle interception mode,the ATT search model is obtained according to the positional relationship,and the course error is synthetically calculated according to the differentiation of implicit function.A geometric method to calculate the integral boundaries of the probability density function is proposed,based on the relative motion of the ATT and the incoming target.To verify the proposed integral model,the digital simulation and comparison is conducted.The results reveal that the variation trends and the calculation value of the proposed analytic model are coincident with the statistic results from Monte Carlo method.And implications of the results regarding the analytic model are discussed.

A waterproof nanocrystalline soft magnetic alloy core with a size of O.D.850 mm×I.D.316 mm×H.25 mm for radio frequency acceleration was successfully developed by winding 18μm 1k107b MA ribbons.Theμ'_(p)Qf products reached 7.5,10,and 12 GHz at 1,3,and 5 MHz,respectively.Theμ'_(p)Qf products of the MA core(O.D.250 mm×I.D.100 mm×H.25 mm)manufactured using a 13μm MA ribbon further increased by 30%.Detailed improvements on the MA core manufacture process are discussed herein.Continuous high-power tests on the new MA cores demonstrated its good performance of waterproofness,particularly its stability of highμ'_(p)Qf products.The MA core with highμ'pQf product and large size can operate under a high average RF power,high electric field,and in deionized water,which will be used in the China Spallation Neutron Source PhaseⅡ(CSNS-Ⅱ).

Since the current slagging of argon blowing refining process is relatively fixed,which cannot adapt to the fluctuation of converter smelting process,it poses the problems of poor metallurgical property of refining slag and a large amount of molten heel.An optimization system coupled with multiple models was proposed to dynamic control the ladle slagging in the argon blowing refining process.It can compile the optimal dynamic slagging scheme in real time under the guarantee of deoxidation performance and reasonable fluidity.The argon blowing refining slag composition range of CaO/Al_(2)O_(3)=1.3-1.7,CaO/SiO_(2)=6-12,w(MgO)=2%-6% was determined based on FeO activity and liquidus temperature by equilibrium thermodynamic calculation.In addition,it demonstrated better performance in the viscosity prediction task of the presented Visual Geometry Group 16-like one-dimensional convolutional neural network deep learning algorithm versus the Random Forest ensemble learning algorithm,as the adjusted coefficients of determination were 0.9712 and 0.9637,respectively.After the system was applied in operation,the argon blowing refining process was stable,and the steel yield was enhanced,which promoted the intelligent steelmaking level while achieving the cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
