Editors,　　We would like to congratulate Cao and his colleagues on the extremely good mean survival rate of 19.5 months achieved in 17 patients with non-resectable liver cancer (16 primary and 1 metastatic).1　Because the results of their study sounds so promising, centres having access to glass yttrium-90 (90Y) microspheres may want to try their methods. It is therefore necessary to clarify some of the points mentioned in their report.

Nano Research volume 13,pages2175–2182(2020)Cite this article 208 Accesses 1 Altmetric Metrics details Abstract Efficient,robust and cost-effective bifunctional oxygen electrocatalysts for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)and oxygen evolution reaction(OER)are of vital importance to the widespread utilization of Zn-air *** we report the fabrication of a bubble-like N,S-codoped porous carbon nanofibers with encapsulated fine Fe/Fe5C2 nanocrystals(∼10 nm)(FeNSCs)by a facile one-pot pyrolysis *** novel FeNSC nanostructures with high Fe content(37.3 wt.%),and synergetic N and S doping demonstrate remarkable ORR and OER catalytic activities in alkaline *** for ORR,the optimal FeNSC catalyst exhibits superior performance in terms of current density and durability in both alkaline and acidic ***,as catalysts on the air electrodes of Zn-air batteries,the optimal FeNSCs show a high peak power density of 59.6 mW/cm^2 and extraordinary discharge-charge cycling performance for 200 h with negligible voltage gap change of only 8%at current density of 20 mA/cm,surpassing its noble metal counterpart(***).The impressive battery stability can be attributed to favorable electron transfer resulting from appropriate graphitization of the bubble-like carbon nanofibers and thorough protection of Fe/Fe5C2 nanoparticles by carbon wrapping to prevent oxidation,agglomeration and dissolution of Fe nanoparticles during battery *** present FeNSC catalyst,which is highly active,robust yet affordable,shows promising prospects in large-scale applications,such as metal-air batteries and fuel cells.

In this work, the excess water-stagnation issue in the high current region in direct methanol fuel cells(DMFCs) is resolved by using atomic precision modulated nitrogen-crafted graphene(NG) in the cathode microporous layer by utilizing simplistic,industrial-expansive and ecological strategy. Few-layer 2D-graphene(~2–5 nm thickness) is prepared by bath sonication approach from abundant feedstock-graphite and is treated with nitric acid to yield 1.8 wt.% uniformly dispersed nitrogen containing NG. Specifically, 1:4 weight ratio NG:carbon-black(CB) hybrid architecture, displays 0.252 V in 370 mA cm^(-2) with the peak power density of 93.4 mW cm^(-2), improving cell power density by 45.6% compared with standard one at 60℃ and 1 mol/L methanol/oxygen conditions at ultra-low catalyst loadings and displaying exceptional stability. Atomic insights into NG reveal that interplay between bonding configurations, altered hydrophobic/hydrophilic porosity of graphene(10.6% less wettability from contact angle and 13.1% high electrode porosity measurements) contribute to the better mass-transport-porogenic effect(16.3% high oxygen-permeability), mildly affecting the electron pathway(6.5% reduced in-plane electrical conductivity),overall significantly improving cell performance. Altogether, this work delivers multiple advantages, i.e., the usage of material from facile, sustainable and cost-effective routes, while improving DMFC performance with potential industrial promise.

Importance:131I-metaiodobenzylguanidine(131I-mIBG)has a significant targeted antitumor effect for ***,currently there is a paucity of data for the use of 131I-mIBG as a"front-line"therapeutic agent in those patients with newly diagnosed high-risk neuroblastoma as part of the conditioning regimen for myeloablative chemotherapy(MAC).Objective:To evaluate the feasibility of upfront consolidation treatment with 131I-mIBG plus MAC and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(HSCT)in high-risk neuroblastoma ***:A retrospective,single-center study was conducted from 2003-2019 on newly diagnosed high-risk neuroblastoma patients without progressive disease(PD)after the completion of induction *** received 131I-mIBG infusion and MAC followed by ***:A total of 24 high-risk neuroblastoma patients were enrolled with a median age of 3.0 years at *** receiving this sequential consolidation treatment,3 of 13 patients who were in partial response(PR)before 131I-mIBG treatment achieved either complete response(CR)(n=1)or very good partial response(VGPR)(n=2)after *** a median follow-up duration of 13.0 months after 131I-mIBG therapy,the 5-year event-free survival and overall survival rates estimated were 29%and 38%for the entire cohort,and 53%and 67%for the patients who were in CR/VGPR at the time of 131I-mIBG ***:Upfront consolidation treatment with 131I-mIBG plus MAC and HSCT is feasible and tolerable in high-risk neuroblastoma patients,however the survival benefit of this 131I-mIBG regimen is only observed in the patients who were in CR/VGPR at the time of 131I-mIBG treatment.

Dear Editor,Coronavirus Disease 2019(COVID-19)is associated with a variety of neurological complications,including encephalopathy,encephalitis,dementia,and others.1 The pathogenic mechanism of these neurological manifestations remains incompletely understood but may be due to factors such as coagulation problem,immune-mediated response,or direct viral invasion into the central nervous system(CNS).2 We and others previously reported that ancestral SARS-CoV-2 could infect and replicate in human brain organoids.3,4 More recently,SARS-CoV-2 Omicron BA.1 emerged in late 2021 and demonstrated altered virological features including increased immunoevasion and attenuated pathogenicity comparing to SARS-CoV-2 wildtype(wt)and previous variants.5 However,the neuroinvasiveness of Omicron sublineages remain ***,we investigated the neuroinvasion and neurotoxicity of Omicron BA.1 and BA.2,and compared the findings with those of SARS-CoV-2 wt and Delta in human forebrain and midbrain *** results demonstrated that BA.2 replicated more efficiently while triggered lower levels of type I interferon response than that of SARS-CoV-2 wt,Delta,and BA.1 in both human forebrain and midbrain *** addition,BA.2 triggered substantially higher levels of apoptosis in the infected human forebrain and midbrain ***,these findings suggest that BA.2 may be different from SARS-CoV-2 wt and previous variants in its capacity in targeting and causing diseases in the human brain.

This paper introduces the effect of dolomite and limestone on waste tyre pyrolysis When waste tyre was pyrolyzed in 700?℃, the derived gases was passed through the catalyst zone in which the temperature was controlled at 700?℃, 800?℃and 900?℃, respectively It is found that both dolomite and limestone affect the product distribution of tyre pyrolysis with erhancing gas yield and effective absorption of H 2S The effect of these catalysts on tar cracking is obvious at 900?℃, however, the life of catalyst is short The product yields are about 40% for gas, 30% for liquid and 30% for char in the presence of dolomite and limestone The result indicates that multi use of the pyrolysed product is highly recommended [wt5H1]
