The exfoliation of bulk 2H-molybdenum disulfide(2H-moS_(2))into few-layer nanosheets with 1T-phase and controlled layers represents a daunting challenge towards the device applications of moS_(2).Conventional ion intercalation assisted exfoliation needs the use of hazardous n-butyllithium and/or elaborate control of the intercalation potential to avoid the decomposition of the moS_(2).This work reports a facile strategy by intercalating Li ions electrochemically with ether-based electrolyte into the van der Waals(vdW)channels of moS_(2),which successfully avoids the decomposition of moS_(2)at low *** co-intercalation of Li+and the ether solvent into moS_(2)makes a first-order phase transformation,forming a superlattice phase,which preserves the layered structure and hence enables the exfoliation of bulk 2H-moS_(2)into bilayer nanosheets with *** with the pristine 2H-moS_(2),the bilayer 1T-moS_(2)nanosheets exhibit better electrocatalytic performance for the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).This facile method should be easily extended to the exfoliation of various transition metal dichalcogenides(TmDs).

BACKGROUND Cardioneuroablation(CNA)has shown encouraging results in patients with vasovagal syncope(VVS).However,data on different subtypes was *** This observational study retrospectively enrolled 141 patients[mean age:40±18 years,51 males(36.2%)]with the diagnosis of *** characteristics among different types of VVS and the outcomes after CNA were *** After a mean follow-up of 4.3±1.5 years,41 patients(29.1%)experienced syncope/pre-syncope events after ***/pre-syncope recurrence significantly differed in each subtype(P=0.04).The cardioinhibitory type of VVS had the lowest recurrence rate after the procedure(n=6,16.7%),followed by mixed(n=26,30.6%)and vasodepressive(n=9,45.0%).Additionally,a significant difference was observed in the analyses of the Kaplan-meier survival curve(P=0.02).Syncope/pre-syncope burden was significantly reduced after CNA in the vasodepressive type(Pms vs.9.0±1.6 ms,P=0.01).Patients with DCms had an 8.1(HR=8.1,95%CI:2.2-30.0,P=0.02)times risk of syncope/pre-syncope recurrence after CNA compared to patients with DC≥8.4 ms,and this association still existed after adjusting for age and sex(HR=8.1,95%CI:2.2-30.1,P=0.02).CONCLUSIONS Different subtypes exhibit different event-free *** vasodepressive type exhibited the lowest event-free rate,but those patients with DC≥8.4 ms might benefit from CNA.

Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is a highly heterogeneous tumor,with dynamic equilibrium and complex interplay between its intricate tumor nature and ambient tumor immune microenvironment(TImE).1 Elegant research has indicated that cancer stem cells,a small subset of neoplastic cells confined within dedicated niches,display stem cell-like properties and interact with cells in TImE,thereby imparting an indelible impact on stemness regulation,tumor heterogeneity,and cancer cell plasticity.2 Previous taxonomies solely from the perspective of stemness or TImE may introduce some degree of bias in the comprehension of HCC carcinogenesis,3,4 and thus it is of paramount importance to systematically consider tumor stemness and TImE as a whole to truly portray the biological landscape of HCC.

Long non-coding RNA FPFSC promotes immature porcine Sertoli cell growth through modulating the miR-326/EHmT2 axis

Sertoli cells are indispensable for guaranteeing normal spermatogenesis and male fertility. Although a huge number of long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs) are identified from developing porcine testicular tissues and have been predicted with crucial regulatory roles in spermatogenesis, their functions and regulatory mechanisms are still in infancy. Herein, we mainly explored the regulatory and functional roles of lncFPFSC in proliferation and apoptosis of immature porcine Sertoli cells. The results demonstrated that lncFPFSC was predominantly located in the cytoplasm of immature porcine Sertoli cells. lncFPFSC overexpression promoted cell cycle progression and cell proliferation,as well as inhibited cell apoptosis, whereas siRNA-induced lncFPFSC knockdown resulted in the opposite ***, lncFPFSC acted as a sponge for miR-326. Overexpression of miR-326 inhibited cell proliferation and induced cell apoptosis, which further abolished the effects of lncFPFSC overexpression. The euchromatic histone-lysine N-methyltransferase 2(EHmT2) gene was directly targeted by miR-326, and its mRNA and protein expressions were both negatively regulated by miR-326 in immature porcine Sertoli cells. Then, siRNA-induced EHmT2 knockdown resulted a similar effect of miR-326 inhibition. Collectively, lncFPFSC promoted proliferation and inhibited apoptosis in immature porcine Sertoli cells through modulating the miR-326/EHmT2 axis. This study expanded our understanding of non-coding RNAs in participating porcine spermatogenesis through deciding the fate of Sertoli cells, and the competing endogenous RNA(ceRNA) network, and provided new molecular markers to treat Sertoli cell disorder inducing male infertility.

Left atrial appendage aneurysm(LAAA)was first reported in the 1960s.1 LAAA is a rare condition,with just over 100 congenital or acquired cases reported to date.2 LAAA is frequently diagnosed incidentally during echocardiography or computed tomography(CT)*** patients with LAAA are asymptomatic,while a few exhibit nonspecific symptoms,such as dyspnea,palpitation,and chest *** with LAAA frequently present with atrial arrhythmias and systemic thromboembolism,such as stroke or multiorgan infarctions,due to the formation of a left atrial appendage thrombus.3 The lesion may be cured using aneurysm *** it as the potential cause of atrial arrhythmias and thromboembolism,the lesion must be identified on time and cured using a suitable treatment approach.
