Electrochemical methods are increasingly favored for remediating polluted environments due to their environmental compatibility and reagent-saving ***,a comprehensive understanding of recent progress,mechanisms,and trends in thesemethods is currently *** of Science(WoS)databases were utilized for searching the primary data to understand the knowledge structure and research trends of publications on electrochemical methods and to unveil certain hotspots and future trends of electrochemical methods *** original data were sampled from 9080 publications in those databases with the search deadline of June 1st,*** and VOSviewer software facilitated data visualization and analysis of document quantities,source journals,institutions,authors,and *** discussed principles,influencing factors,and progress related to seven major ***,publications on this subject have experienced significant growth since *** most frequently-investigated areas in electrochemical methods included novel materials development,heavy metal remediation,organic pollutant degradation,and removal mechanism identification.“Advanced oxidation process”and“Nanocomposite”are currently trending *** major remediation mechanisms are adsorption,oxidation,and *** efficiency of electrochemical systems is influenced by material properties,system configuration,electron transfer efficiency,and power ***-Fenton exhibits significant advantages in achieving synergistic effects of anodic oxidation and electro-adsorption among the seven *** research should prioritize the improvement of electron transfer efficiency,the optimization of electrode materials,the exploration of emerging technology coupling,and the reduction in system operation and maintenance costs.

By using the logarithmic strain, the finite deformation plastic theory, corresponding to the infinitesimal plastic theory, is established successively. The plastic consistent algorithm with first order accuracy for the finite element method (FEM) is developed. Numerical examples are presented to illustrate the validity of the theory and effectiveness of the algorithm.

Recent advances in electronic and photonic devices, such as artificial skin, wearable systems, organic and inorganic light-emitting diodes, have gained consider- able commercial and scientific interest in the academe and in industries. However, low-cost and high-throughput nano-manufacturing is difficult to realize with the use of traditional photolithographic processes. In this review, we summarize the status and the limitations of current nano- patterning techniques for scalable and flexible functional devices in terms of working principle, resolution, and processing speed. Finally, several remaining unsolved problems in nano-manufacturing are discussed, and future research directions are highlighted.

Cancer progression involves the sonic hedgehog(SHH)pathway,in which the receptor PTCH1 actives the downstream *** of PTCH1 can lead to nevoid basal cell carcinoma Syndrome(NBCCs)including neoplastic disease and congenital *** evaluate the relationship between PTCH1 and cancer,we applied the CRISPR/Cas9 system to knock out PTCH1 in oral nontumorous epithelial cells(GMSM-K).Then we screened six PTCH1 variants associated with cleft lip/palate(CL/P),one of the congenital disorders in NBCCs,and generated PTCH1 variant and wild-type recombinant PTCH1^(−/−)GMSM-K cell *** sequencing was conducted in these cell *** results revealed that differentially expressed genes(DEGs)in PTCH1^(−/−)GMSM-K were enriched in extracellular compartments,contributing epithelial diseases by pathway enrichment ***-PCR confirmed that KRT34,KRT81,KRT86,PDGFB,and WNT10B genes,associated with extracellular compartments were highly expressed in PTCH1^(−/−).The Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes analysis also suggested that DEGs are closely related to focal adhesion,transcriptional misregulation,and proteoglycans in breast and gastric *** analysis of samples revealed that the CL/P-associated PTCH1 variants A443G and V908G are potentially *** findings provide new insights into the carcinogenic potential of PTCH1 dysfunction.

A simulative analysis coupled with experiment on behaviors of a soil bed cut by a model bulldozer blade is carried out using the finite element/distinct element method（FE/DEM） facility built in the ELFEN package. Before simulation, tensile/compression, triaxial compression and the soil specimens are examined through uniaxial direct shear tests to obtain model characteristics and relevant parameters, then soil cutting experiments are carried out via a mini-soil bin system with a soil bed of 60/120 mm in width and 10 mm in depth cut by a 1/9 scale model bulldozer blade moving with the velocity of 10 mm/s. The soil constitutive model includes the tensile elastic model for tensile breakage and the compressive elastoplastic relationship with Mohr-Coulomb criterion. The cutting length in simulation is set as 1/4 of that in the experiment divided into 1 869 triangular elements. The comparison between the simulated results and experimental ones shows that the used model is capable of analyzing soil dynamic behaviors qualitatively, and the predicted fracturing profiles in general conform to the experiment. Hence the feasibility for analyzing soil fracturing behaviors in tillage or other similar processes is validated.

Background:To measure the anterior and posterior segment structural features of acute primary angle-closure(APAC)***:A total of 36 subjects with unilateral APAC were recruited in this *** ocular biometric characteristics were measured by anterior segment optical coherence tomography(AS-OCT)and swept source optical coherence tomography(SS-OCT),respectively at baseline,2 weeks,and 1 month after surgical ***:At baseline,when compared with the fellow eyes,APAC-affected eyes showed significantly greater corneal thickness(P=0.004),shallower anterior chamber depth(ACD)(P<0.001),smaller anterior chamber area(ACA)(P=0.013),angle opening distance at 750μm from the scleral spur(AOD750)(P=0.002),trabecular-iris space area at 750μm from the scleral spur(TISA750)(P=0.033),angle recess area(ARA)(P=0.014),and iris area(IARE)(P=0.003),less iris curvature(ICURVE)(P=0.003),and larger lens vault(LV)(P=0.030).After intervention,the corneal thickness was significantly decreased at 1 month(P<0.001),while ACD,ACA,and AOD750 were significantly increased at 2 weeks and 1 month(all P<0.017).Changes in ACD were correlated with decreasing LV(P<0.05).The posterior segment parameters did not change over the 4-week ***:When compared with the fellow eyes,APAC-affected eyes had greater corneal thickness,shallower anterior chamber,narrower angle,less ICURVE,and larger *** intervention,the corneal thickness was decreased,while the shallower anterior chamber was relieved to some extent.

A geochronological and geochemical study on the granodiorite porphyry and its implication for the mineralization in the Dayaoshan metallogenic belt,Southeastern China

A systematic study combining U-Pb zircon dating,lithogeochemical and Sr-Nd isotopic analyses was carried out upon the Xinping granodiorite porphyry in the Dayaoshan metallogenic belt to understand its petrogenesis and tectonic ***-ICP-MS U-Pb zircon dating yielded a 442.7±5.8 Ma age,indicating that the granodiorite porphyry was emplaced during the Llandovery Silurian of the Early *** granodiorite porphyry shares the same geochemical characteristics such as Eu negative anomaly as other syn-tectonic granite plutons in the region,including the granodiorite porphyry in Dawangding and granite porphyries in the Dali Cu-Mo deposit and Longtoushang old deposit,indicating a similar magma evolution *** Xinping granodiorite porphyry has high contents of SiO2(67.871.8%)and K2O(1.78-3.42%)and is metaluminous-peraluminous with A/CNK ratios ranging from 0.97 to 1.06,indicative of high-potassium calc-alkaline to calc-alkaline *** is a I-type granite enriched in large ion lithophile elements Rb,Sr,while depleted in Ba and high field-strength element ***,a collision between the Yunkai Block from the south and the Guangxi Yunnan-North Vietnam Block from the north during the Early Paleozoic was followed by uplifting of the Dayaoshan *** Xinping granodiorite porphyry was likely emplaced during the ***-Nd isotopic analyses show that the granodiorite porphyry has initial 87Sr/86Sr ratios(Isr)of 0.7080-0.7104,εNd(t)range from-0.08 to-4.09,and t2DM between 1.19 and 1.51 Ga,well within the north-east low-value zone of the Cathaysia block,indicating a Paleoproterozoic Cathaysia basement source and an involvement of under plating mantle *** observations,geochronological data,and 3D spatial distribution all lead to the conclusion that the Early Paleozoic Xinping granodiorite porphyry does not have any metallogenic and temporal relationships with the Xinping gold deposit(which has a Jurassic-Early Cretaceous age based on

Orofacial clefts (OFCs) are the most common congenital craniofacial disorders, of which the etiology is closely related to rare coding variants. Filamin B (FLNB) is an actin-binding protein implicated in bone formation. FLNB mutations have been identified in several types of syndromic OFCs and previous studies suggest a role of FLNB in the onset of non-syndromic OFCs (NSOFCs). Here, we report two rare heterozygous variants (p.P441T and p.G565R) in FLNB in two unrelated hereditary families with NSOFCs. Bioinformatics analysis suggests that both variants may disrupt the function of FLNB. In mammalian cells, p.P441T and p.G565R variants are less potent to induce cell stretches than wild type FLNB, suggesting that they are loss-of-function mutations. Immunohistochemistry analysis demonstrates that FLNB is abundantly expressed during palatal development. Importantly, Flnb^(−/−) embryos display cleft palates and previously defined skeletal defects. Taken together, our findings reveal that FLNB is required for development of palates in mice and FLNB is a bona fide causal gene for NSOFCs in humans.
