The observed hardening of the spectra of cosmic ray protons and helium nuclei is studied within the model of nonlinear diffusive shock acceleration of supernova remnants(SNRs). In this model, the injected particles with energies below the spectral "knee" are assumed to be described by two populations with different spectral indexes around 200 GeV. The high-energy population is dominated by the particles with energies above 200 GeV released upstream of the shock of SNR, and the low-energy population is attributed to the particles with energies below 200 GeV released downstream of the shock of SNR. In this scenario, the spectral hardening of cosmic ray protons and helium nuclei observed by PAMELA, AMS-02, and CREAM experiments can be reproduced.

Ovule initiation is a key step that strongly influences ovule number and seed ***,mutants with enhanced brassinosteroid(BR)and cytokinin(CK)signaling produce more ovules and have a higher seed number per silique(SNS)than wild-type ***,we crossed BR-and CKrelated mutants to test whether these phytohormones function together in ovule *** determined that simultaneously enhancing BR and CK contents led to higher ovule and seed numbers than enhancing BR or CK separately,and BR and CK enhanced each ***,the BR-response transcription factor BZR1 directly interacted with the CK-response transcription factor ARABIDOPSIS RESPONSE REGULATOR1(ARR1).Treatments with BR or BR plus CK strengthened this interaction and subsequent ARR1 targeting and induction of downstream genes to promote ovule *** CK signaling partially rescued the reduced SNS phenotype of BR-deficient/insensitive mutants whereas enhanced BR signaling failed to rescue the low SNS of CK-deficient mutants,suggesting that BR regulates ovule initiation and SNS through CK-mediated and-independent *** study thus reveals that interaction between BR and CK promotes ovule initiation and increases seed number,providing important clues for increasing the seed yield of dicot crops.

Ovule and seed developments are crucial processes during plant growth, which are affected by different signaling pathways. In this paper, we demonstrate that the brassinosteroid （BR） signal is involved in ovule initiation and development. Ovule and seed numbers are significantly different when comparing BR-related mutants to wild-type con-trols. Detailed observation indicates that BR regulates the expression level of genes related to ovule development, includ-ing HLL, ANT, and AP2, either directly by targeting the promoter sequences or indirectly via regulation by BR-induced transcription factor BZR1. Also, Western blot demonstrates that the dephosphorylation level of BZR1 is consistent with ovule and seed number. The intragenic bzrl-lD suppressors bzs247 and bzs248 have much fewer ovules and seeds than bzrl-lD, which are similar to wild-type, suggesting that the phenotype can be rescued. The molecular and genetic experi-ments confirm that BZR1 and AP2 probably affect Arabidopsis ovule number determination antagonistically.

Dephosphorization is essential content in the steelmaking process,and the process after the converter has no dephosphorization ***,phosphorus must be removed to the required level in the converter *** order to better control the end-point phosphorus content of basic oxygen furnace(BOF),a prediction model of end-point phosphorus content for BOF based on monotone-constrained backpropagation(BP)neural network was *** the theoretical analysis of the dephosphorization process,ten factors that affect the end-point phosphorus content were determined as the input variables of the *** correlations between influencing factors and end-point phosphorus content were determined as the constraint condition of the model.200 sets of data were used to verify the accuracy of the model,and the hit ratios in the range of±0.005%and±0.003%are 94%and 74%,*** fit coefficient of determination of the predicted value and the actual value is 0.8456,and the root-mean-square error is 0.0030;the predictive accuracy is better than that of ordinary BP neural network,and this model has good *** can provide useful reference for real production and also provide a new approach for metallurgical predictive modeling.

Dear Editor, Brassinosteroid （BR） is an important hormone and playscrucial roles in plant growth and development （Kim andWang, 2010）. Genetics studies identify many componentsinvolving in BR signaling, including transcript factor BZR1（BRASSINAZOLE RESISTANT 1）. BZR1 is dephosphorylated （Heet al., 2005） to regulate expression of target genes. A sin-gle amino acid mutation in BZR1 PEST domain results inenhanced binding and dephosphorylation by PP2A （PROTEINPHOSPHATASE 2A; Tang et al., 2011）, leading to constitutivelyactivated BZR1 and enhanced BR signal in gain-of-functionmutant bzr1-1D. Although BR signal is well characterized inArabidopsis, how the components of BR signaling transduc-tion pathway are reclulated needs further illustrations.

Cs and I can migrate through fuel-cladding interfaces and accelerate the cladding corrosion process induced by the fuel-cladding chemical *** coating has emerged as an important candidate for mitigating this chemical *** this study,first-principles calculations were employed to investigate the diffusion behavior of Cs and I in the Cr bulk and grain boundaries to reveal the microscopic interaction mitigation mechanisms at the fuel-cladding *** interaction between these two fission products and the Cr coating were studied systematically,and the Cs and I temperature-dependent diffusion coefficients in Cr were obtained using Bocquet’s oversized solute-atom model and Le Claire’s nine-frequency model,*** results showed that the Cs and I migration barriers were significantly lower than that of Cr,and the Cs and I diffusion coefficients were more than three orders of magnitude larger than the Cr self-diffusion coefficient within the temperature range of Generation-IV fast reactors(below 1000 K),demonstrating the strong penetration ability of Cs and ***,Cs and I are more likely to diffuse along the grain boundary because of the generally low migration barriers,indicating that the grain boundary serves as a fast diffusion channel for Cs and I.

With the advancement of social process,the resource problem is becoming more prominent,biomass materials come into being,and it is becoming more and more important to explore and prepare efficient and multifunctional biomass materials to alleviate the problems of energy storage and water *** this paper,nitrogen-doped hierarchical porous carbon materials(NRRC)were produced by one-step carbonization of withered rose as raw material and melamine as nitrogen source with KOH-activated *** resulting nitrogen-doped porous carbon material had the most abundant pores and the best microspherical graded pore structure,with a specific surface area of up to 1393 m2·g^(-1),a pore volume of 0.68 cm3·g^(-1),and a nitrogen-doped content of 5.52%.Electrochemical tests showed that the maximum specific capacitance of NRRC in the three-electrode system was 346.4 F·g^(-1)(0.5 A·g^(-1)),which was combined with favorable capacitance retention performance and cycling *** NRRC//NRRC symmetric supercapacitors were further assembled,and the maximum energy density of a single device was 23.88 Wh·kg^(-1),which still maintains excellent capacitance retention and cyclic charging/discharging *** example,the capacitance retention rate was always close to 96.27%with almost negligible capacitance loss after 10000 consecutive charge/discharge cycles(current density:10 A·g^(-1)).Regardless of the three-electrode or two-electrode system,the super capacitive performance of NRRC porous carbon materials was comparable to the electrochemical performance of many reported biomass porous carbon materials,which showed better energy storage advantages and practical application *** addition,NRRC porous carbon materials had excellent water purification *** dye adsorption test confirmed that NRRC had a high adsorption capacity(491.47 mg·g^(-1))for methylene *** undoubtedly also showed a potential and promising avenue for high value-added utilization
