Facing the trend of increasing population,how to increase maize grain yield is a very important issue to ensure food *** this study,28 nationally approved maize hybrids were evaluated across 24 different climatic conditions for two consecutive years(2018-2019).The purpose of this study was to select high-yield with stable genotypes and identify important agronomic traits for maize breeding program *** results of this study showed that the genotypeenvironment interaction effects of the 12 evaluated agronomic traits was highly significant(P<0.001).We introduced a novel multi-trait genotype-ideotype distance index(MGIDI)to select genotypes based on multiple agronomic *** selection process exhibited by this method is unique and easy to understand,so the MGIDI index will have more and more important applications in future multi-environment trials(METs)*** genotypes selected by the MGIDI index were G22,G10,G12 and G1 as the high yielding and stable *** parents of these selected genotypes have the ability to play a greater role as the basic germplasm in the breeding process.A new form of genotype(G)main effects and genotype(G)-by-environment(E)interaction(GGE)technician,genotypeyieldtrait(GYT)biplot,based on multiple traits for genotypes selection was also applied in this *** GYT biplot ranked genotypes by combining grain yield with other evaluated agronomic traits,and displayed the distribution of their traits,namely strengths and weaknesses.

Surgical treatment ofpatients with severe non-flail chest rib fractures

Changes in Schlemm’s canal,trabecular meshwork,and relevant parameters in the early stage after SMILE of myopia patients

AIM:To observe the changes in Schlemm’s canal(SC),trabecular meshwork(TM),and anterior chamber relevant parameters after small incision lenticule extraction(SMILE) of myopia ***:A total of 58 eyes from 30 patients who underwent SMILE were divided into a low and moderate myopia group(group A,32 eyes) and a high myopia group(group B,26 eyes).The diameter and area of the SC,the width and thickness of TM obtained by CIRRUS HD-OCT5000,and the related anterior chamber parameters obtained by Pentacam anterior segment analysis system,accommodation amplitude(AMP) were observed pre-and *** preoperative intraocular pressure(IOP) and postoperative correction of intraocular pressure(IOPcc) were ***:The diameter and area of the SC in the two groups were significantly increased postoperatively(all P0.05).The corneal curvature,central anterior chamber depth,and anterior chamber volume decreased after SMILE surgery(all P<0.01).There was a weak negative correlation between the SC area change and AMP change in group A(r=-0.362,P<0.01).The postoperative IOP decreased after correction by Shah formula(P<0.05).CONCLUSION:SC and TM in myopia patients change in the early postoperative stage of SMILE and the IOP is decline.

The Zone of Avoidance(ZoA)is a region of low galactic latitude that is heavily obscured by the Milky *** with radio telescopes are basically unaffected by dust extinction and can unveil the structure behind it through the Milky *** of the scientific goals of the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope(FAST)is to search for the neutral hydrogen and understand the large-scale physics to explore the origin and evolution of the *** take the 15,500 IRAS(the Infrared Astronomical Satellite)galaxies from PSCz(“Point Source Catalog”)survey to reconstruct the density field of the local universe,obtain the distribution of the relative density of galaxies in the ZoA region with a redshift z below 0.07,and the number of detectable galaxies with FAST is estimated by using the neutral hydrogen mass function of the ALFA(Arecibo L-band Feed Array)*** conclude that FAST can observe more than 2000 ZoA galaxies within a distance of 300 Mpc h_(70)^(-1),and present preliminary results of the partial GPPS(the FAST Galactic Plane Pulsar Snapshot survey)data,compared with ALFA ZoA(The Arecibo L-band Feed Array Zone of Avoidance),show that FAST has a higher detection sensitivity to search for HI galaxies in the ZoA area.

Recovery of iron and rare earth elements from red mud through an acid leaching-stepwise extraction approach

A feasible approach to selectively recover iron and rare earth elements(REEs)from red mud through acid leaching-coordination-solvent extraction was *** leaching efficiencies of Fe,Al,Ti,Sc,La,Ce,Nd and Y can reach up to 95.9%,82.1%,68.3%,93.3%,82.3%,96.9%,98.3%and 95.6%,respectively,under the optimal condition in the leaching *** 336 showed excellent extraction performance of iron in chloride-rich solution,and the maximum extraction efficiency can reach over 96%in one time extraction while the loss of other metals was less than 10%,under the condition of Aliquat 336 concentration(v/v)of 30%,aqueous-organic ratio of 1.0 and extraction time of 20 ***,P204 can effectively extract the scandium while Al and most other REEs remain in the aqueous *** approach may provide a new insight for the recovery of valuable resources from red mud.

Paired eye-control study of unilateral opaque bubble layer in femtosecond laser assisted laser in situ keratomileusis

AIM: To investigate the predictive factors of the opaque bubble layer(OBL) compared to the fellow eye of same patients in FS200 femtosecond laser assisted laser in situ keratomileusis(FS-LASIK).METHODS: This study consisted of 60 consecutive patients(120 eyes) with unilateral OBL during FS-LASIK. Eyes were divided into OBL(the OBL eyes) and OBL-free groups(the fellow eyes) based on the occurrence of OBL. The preoperative demographic data, refraction, keratometry, corneal astigmatism, pachymetry, intraocular pressure and intraoperative data including the outlet location of gas diffusing canal were collected. Conditional logistic regression analysis was performed to find the associated factors with OBL in the two groups by determining odds ratios(OR) and 95%***: The preoperative demographic data, mean spherical errors, mean K value, suction time, intraocular pressure and central cornea thickness were not significantly different between the two groups. The outlet location of gas diffusing canal(P<0.01, OR 7.16, 95%CI 2.53-20.32) and the corneal astigmatism(P=0.013, OR 0.13, 95%CI 0.03-0.65) were significantly associated with the incidence of OBL by multivariate logistic regression analysis. Visual acuity, efficacy, and safety were comparable between the two groups two months after surgery except for a slightly lower predictability value for the hard OBL ***: The reduction of the incidence of OBL is obvious when the outlet of gas diffusing canal located at the posterior border of the corneoscleral limbus. This is probably consequent to more effectiveness of gas diffusing canal. Corneal astigmatism is also an independent protective factor for OBL formation.

The impact of gut microbiota changes on the intestinal mucus barrier in burned mice:a study using 16S rRNA and metagenomic sequencing
