Adaptive control method for nonlinear time-delay processes

Two complex properties, varying time-delay and block-oriented nonlinearity, are very common in chemical engineering processes and not easy to be controlled by routine control methods. Aimed at these two complex properties, a novel adaptive control algorithm the basis of nonlinear OFS （orthonormal functional series） model is proposed. First, the hybrid model which combines OFS and Volterra series is introduced. Then, a stable state feedback strategy is used to construct a nonlinear adaptive control algorithm that can guarantee the closed-loop stability and can track the set point curve without steady-state errors. Finally, control simulations and experiments on a nonlinear process with varying time-delay are presented. A number of experimental results validate the efficiency and superiority of this algorithm.

The purpose of this study was to assess the susceptibility of landslides around the area of Guizhou province based on fuzzy *** first instance, slope, elevation, lithology, proximity to tectonic lines, proximity to drainage and annual precipitation were taken as independent, causal factors in this study.A landslide hazard evaluation factor system was established by classifying these factors into more subclasses according to some ***, a trapezoidal fuzzy number weighting(TFNW) approach was used to assess the importance of six causal factors to landslides in an ArcGIS ***, a landslide susceptibility map was created based on a weighted linear combination *** to this susceptibility map, the study area was classified into four categories of landslide susceptibility:low, moderate, high and very ***, in order to verify the results obtained, the susceptibility map and the landslide inventory map were combined in the *** addition, the weighting procedure showed that TFNW is an efficient method for weighting causal landslide factors.

The fullerene C-60 and phthatocyanine co-grafted poly (epoxy propyl carbazole) (C-60-CuPC-PEPC) was synthesized by Friedel-Crafts reaction. It was found that C-60-CuPc-PEPC had good UV-Vis absorption property, whose active spectral range was expanded from UV to visible spectrum region, and exhibited better photoconductivity than CuPc-PEPC and PEPC. These improvements could be attributed to the interaction between C-60, phthalocyanine and PEPC.

This work studies the ionic conductivity of nanosized Gd-, Sm-, and Y-doped ceria prepared by the infiltration/impregnation method. The nanoparticles were deposited onto porous pure ceria substrates via infiltration- heating processes, and the conductivity was determined with the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy （EIS） using the conductive model for infiltrated phases. The conductivity of the infiltrated doped ceria changes with the doping amount, and Gd0.25Ce0.75O2-δ, Sm0.2Ce0.8O2-δ, and Y0.15Ce0.85O2-δ show the highest values of 2.56, 3.01, and 2.07 × 10-3 ***-1 at 600 ℃, respectively. Overall, Sin-doped samples show the highest conductivity, whileY-doped samples show the lowest conductivity. In con- sideration of the Bruggeman factor, the intrinsic conduc- tivity of the infiltrated doped ceria was calculated. Compared with the bulk doped ceria, the intrinsic con- ductivity is higher while the activation energy is lower, which may suggest different conduction mechanisms. Besides, co-doping effects on the conductivity of the infiltrated sample are less obvious than those of the bulk sample.

Genetic engineering technology can achieve specific gene therapy for a variety of diseases, but the current strategy still has some flaws, such as a complex system, single treatment, and large implantation trauma. Herein, the genetic engineering injectable hydrogels were constructed by ultrasonic technology for the first time to realize in vivo ultrasound-triggered in situ cross-linking and cell gene transfection, and finally complete in situ gene therapy to promote bone reconstruction. First, ultrasound-triggered calcium release was used to activate transglutaminase and catalyze the transamidation between fibrinogen. Simultaneously, liposome loaded with Zinc-finger E-box-binding homeobox 1 (ZEB1) gene plasmid (Lip-ZEB1) was combined to construct an ultrasound-triggered in situ cross-linked hydrogels that can deliver Lip-ZEB1. Second, ultrasound-triggered injectable hydrogel introduced ZEB1 gene plasmid into endothelial cell genome through Lip-ZEB1 sustained release, and then acted on the ZEB1/Notch signal pathway of cells, promoting angiogenesis and local bone reconstruction of osteoporosis through genetic engineering. Overall, this strategy provides an advanced gene delivery system through genetic engineered ultrasound-triggered injectable hydrogels.

An online model was proposed to identify the reasons behind changes in the energy consumption of the reheating furnace of a steel processing *** heat conversion of the furnace was analyzed and integrated with the fuel consumption of the furnace to obtain a model of the energy *** with the mechanism analysis,the basic parameters affecting energy consumption were determined,and four key influencing factors were obtained:furnace output,furnace charging temperature,furnace tapping temperature,and steel *** specific calculation method of the contribution of each influencing factor was derived to define the conditions of the baseline energy consumption,while the online data were used to calculate the energy value and the actual performance value of the baseline energy *** contribution of each influencing factor was determined through *** cloud platform was used for database reconstruction and programming to realize the online intelligent evaluation of the energy consumption of the reheating ***,a case study of the evaluation of the practical energy consumption of a steel rolling furnace in a steel plant was *** intelligent evaluation results were quantified and displayed online,and the performance of the system in reducing production line energy consumption was demonstrated.

The Spatial Correlation between Crystalline and Amorphous Orientations of Isotactic Polypropylene during Plastic Deformation:An in situ Observation with FTIR Imaging

On the basis of research method in FTIR imaging, we made a heterogeneous thin film of isotactic polypropylene （iPP） that contains a few large spherulites （-150 μm） which are surrounded by small spherulites （-15 μm） for tensile testing. The evolution processes of crystalline and amorphous orientations of iPP are monitored with its characteristic peaks at 998 and 973 cm^-1, respectively. By introducing the correlation images, the analysis demonstrates the relationships between the orientation evolutions of crystalline and amorphous phases in a space of 250 μm × 250 μm detecting area. During the plastic deformation, crystalline orientation is higher than amorphous orientation outside the large spherulite, while that is opposite inside the region. In addition, the evolutions of crystalline and amorphous orientations almost keep a positive correlation.
