Air quality is deteriorating due to continuing urbanization and *** particular,nitrogen dioxide(NO_(2))is a biologically and environmentally hazardous byproduct from fuel combustion that is ubiquitous in urban *** address this issue,we report a high-performance flexible indium phosphide nanomembrane NO_(2)sensor for real-time air quality *** ultralow limit of detection of~200 ppt and a fast response have been achieved with this device by optimizing the film thickness and doping concentration during indium phosphide *** varying the film thickness,a dynamic range of values for NO_(2)detection from parts per trillion(ppt)to parts per million(ppm)level have also been demonstrated under low bias voltage and at room temperature without additional light *** measurements show an adequately stable response after repeated ***-site testing of the sensor in a residential kitchen shows that NO_(2)concentration from the gas stove emission could exceed the NO_(2)Time weighted Average limit,i.e.,200 ppb,highlighting the significance of real-time ***,the indium phosphide nanomembrane sensor element cost is estimated at<0.1 US$due to the miniatured size,nanoscale thickness,and ease of *** these superior performance characteristics,low cost,and real-world applicability,our indium phosphide nanomembrane sensors offer a promising solution for a variety of air quality monitoring applications.

High-Temperature Stability of Mg-1Al-12Y Alloy Containing LPSO Phase and Mechanism of Its Portevin-Le Chatelier(PLC)Effect

In this study,the high-temperature stability and the generation mechanism of the Portevin-Le Chatelier(PLC)effect in solid-solution Mg-1Al-12Y alloy with different heat treatment processes were investigated by adjusting the content of long-period stacking ordered(LPSO)*** was found that the content of LPSO phases in the alloys differed the most after heat treatment at 530℃for 16 h and 24 h,with values of 13.56%and 3.93%***,high-temperature tensile experiments were conducted on these two alloys at temperatures of 150℃,200℃,250℃,and 300℃.The results showed that both alloys exhibited the PLC effect at temperatures ranging from 150 to 250℃.However,at a temperature 300℃,only the alloy with a greater concentration of LPSO phases exhibited the PLC effect,whereas the alloy with a lower proportion of LPSO phases did not exhibit this ***,both alloys exhibited remarkable high-temperature stability,with the alloy containing a greater percentage of LPSO phases also demonstrating superior *** underlying mechanism for this phenomenon lies in the exceptional high-temperature stability exhibited by the second phase within the ***,the LPSO phase effectively obstructs the movement of dislocations,and it also undergoing kinking to facilitate plastic deformation of the *** results indicate that the PLC effect can be suppressed by reducing dislocation pile-up at grain boundaries,which leads to a decrease in alloy plasticity but an increase in *** presence of the PLC effect in the WA121 alloy is attributed to the abundant dispersed second phase within the alloy,which initially hinders the movement of dislocations,leading to an increase in stress,and subsequently releases the dislocations,allowing them to continue their movement and thereby reducing in stress.

Preparation and Rheological Characterization of long Chain Branching Polyglycolide

The long chain branching(LCB)polyglycolide(PGA)was successfully prepared by the successive reactions of the terminal hydroxyl groups of PGA with triglycidyl isocyanurate(TGIC)and pyromellitic dianhydride(PMDA).The influence of LCB produced by functional group reaction on rheological and crystallization behavior was studied and discussed through linear rheology,uniaxial elongation and DSC(differential scanning calorimetry).The much higher viscosity and the more notable strain hardening behavior of modified PGA indicates the LCB with high degree of entanglements are *** melt strength of PGA is finally improved greatly and can make su re that the supercritical CO_(2)foaming can be carried out successfully.

Inversion of Seabed Geotechnical Properties in the Arctic Chukchi Deep Sea Basin Based on Time Domain Adaptive Search Matching Algorithm

The chirp sub-bottom profiler,for its high resolution,easy accessibility and cost-effectiveness,has been widely used in acoustic *** this paper,the acoustic impedance and grain size compositions were obtained based on the chirp sub-bottom profiler data collected in the Chukchi Plateau area during the 11th Arctic Expedition of *** time-domain adaptive search matching algorithm was used and validated on our established theoretical *** misfit between the inversion result and the theoretical model is less than 0.067%.The grain size was calculated according to the empirical relationship between the acoustic impedance and the grain size of the *** average acoustic impedance of sub-seafloor strata is 2.5026×10^(6) kg(s m^(2))^(-1)and the average grain size(θvalue)of the seafloor surface sediment is 7.1498,indicating the predominant occurrence of very fine silt sediment in the study *** of the inversion results and the laboratory measurements of nearby borehole samples shows that they are in general agreement.

Using p53-immunostained large specimens to determine the distal intramural spread margin of rectal cancer

AIM： To determine the distal intramural spread （DIS） margin of rectal cancer.METHODS： Sixty-one p53-positive specimens of rectal cancer were used. After conventional hematoxylin and eosin （H＆E） staining, the DIS margin of rectal cancer in large specimens was examined by immunohistochemistry. The patients were divided into A, B, C, and D groups. After a long-term follow-up, the survival curves of the four groups were estimated using the life table. RESULTS： Fifty-one of the sixty-one cases （83.6%） had DIS. The extent of DIS ranged 0.11-3.5 cm; meanwhile *** of DIS measured by H＆E staining was 0.13 cm. The significant difference was found between the means （t=5.622, P〈0.0001）. Only 1 of 51 patients had DIS greater than 3 cm. The DIS was less than 1.0 cm in most rectal cancer patients. The long-term results indicated that the survival rate of the patients whose DIS was greater than 1.0 cm was lower than that of the patients whose DIS was less than 0.5 cm. CONCLUSION： Rectal cancer patients with DIS greater than 1.0 cm have poor prognosis.

Thermodynamic performance modeling,optimization and numerical simulation of RBCC ejector mode

Ejector mode is a unique and critical phase of wide-range rocket-based combined cycle(RBCC)*** this paper,a quasi-one-dimensional thermodynamic performance modeling method,with more detailed model treatments for the inlet-diffuser system,pri-mary/secondaryﬂow interaction,and pressure feedback matching,was developed for operating characteristics studies and multi-objective optimization analysis of the ejector mode of an actual RBCC engine.A series of three-dimensional simulations of separate inlet and fullﬂowpath was completed to validate the modeling study and provide further insight into the operating *** primary/secondary equilibrium pressure ratio functions a signiﬁcant effect on ejector mode performance,a higher performance augmentation can be obtained by lower rocket pressure ratio,larger mixing section area ratio,smaller throttling throat and higher equivalence ratio,within an appropriate *** positive performance augmentation can be realized at lowﬂight Mach conditions,the coordination and trade-off relationships between speciﬁc im-pulse,performance augmentation ratio and thrust-to-area ratio during ejector mode are present by the Pareto-front from MOP *** is further veriﬁed by CFD simulation that,the operating back-pressure at the exit of inlet-diffuser system functions a decisive inﬂuence on the airbreathing characteristics,the pressure feedback and matching should be well-controlled for secondaryﬂowrate and performance *** thermodynamic modeling analysis re-sults are basically consistent with those of numerical simulation,to validate the rationality and effectiveness of the modeling method.

The development of a durable metallic coating on diverse substrates is both intriguing and challenging,particularly in the research of metal-conductive materials for applications such as batteries,soft electronics,and ***,by learning from the pencil-writing process,a facile solid-ink rubbing technology(SIR-tech)is invented to address the above *** solid-ink is exampled by rational combination of liquid metal and graphite *** harnessing the synergistic effects between rubbing and adhesion,controllable metallic skin is successfully formed onto metals,woods,ceramics,and plastics without limitation in size and ***,outperforming pure liquid-metal coating,the composite metallic skin by SIR-tech is very robust due to the self-lamination of graphite nanoplate exfoliated by liquid-metal *** critical factors controlling the structures-properties of the composite metallic skin have been systematically investigated as *** applications,the SIR-tech is demonstrated to fabricate high-performance composite current collectors for next-generation batteries without traditional metal ***,advanced skin-electrodes are further demonstrated for stable triboelectricity generation even under temperature fluctuation from-196 to 120℃.This facile and highly-flexible SIR-tech may work as a powerful platform for the studies on functional coatings by liquid metals and beyond.

Osteoporosis(OP)is a prevalent metabolic bone *** drug therapy is essential to prevent bone loss in osteoporotic patients,current treatments are limited by side effects and high costs,necessitating the development of more effective and safer targeted *** a zebrafish(Danio rerio)larval model of osteoporosis,we explored the influence of the metabolite spermine on bone *** showed that spermine exhibited dual activity in osteoporotic zebrafish larvae by increasing bone formation and decreasing bone *** not only demonstrated excellent biosafety but also mitigated prednisolone-induced embryonic neurotoxicity and ***,spermine showcased protective attributes in the nervous systems of both zebrafish embryos and *** the molecular level,Rac1 was identified as playing a pivotal role in mediating the antiosteoporotic effects of spermine,with P53 potentially acting downstream of *** findings were confirmed using mouse(Mus musculus)models,in which spermine not only ameliorated osteoporosis but also promoted bone formation and mineralization under healthy conditions,suggesting strong potential as a bonestrengthening *** study underscores the beneficial role of spermine in osteoporotic bone homeostasis and skeletal system development,highlighting pivotal molecular *** their efficacy and safety,human endogenous metabolites like spermine are promising candidates for new anti-osteoporotic drug development and daily bone-fortifying agents.
