Factors Influencing the Spatial Variability of Air Temperature Urban Heat Island Intensity in Chinese Cities

Few studies have investigated the spatial patterns of the air temperature urban heat island(AUHI)and its controlling *** this study,the data generated by an urban climate model were used to investigate the spatial variations of the AUHI across china and the underlying climate and ecological drivers.A total of 3.5 urban clusters were *** performed an attribution analysis of the AUHI to elucidate the mechanisms underlying its *** results show that the midday AUHI is negatively correlated with climate wetness(humid:0.3. K;semi-humid:0.50 K;semi-arid:0.73.K).The annual mean midnight AUHI does not show discernible spatial patterns,but is generally stronger than the midday *** urban–rural difference in convection efficiency is the largest contributor to the midday AUHI in the humid(0.3.±0.09 K)and the semi-arid(0.3.±0.11 K)climate *** release of anthropogenic heat from urban land is the dominant contributor to the midnight AUHI in all three climate *** rural vegetation density is the most important driver of the daytime and nighttime AUHI spatial variations.A spatial covariance analysis revealed that this vegetation influence is manifested mainly through its regulation of heat storage in rural land.

V-MOF-derived V_(2)O_(5) nanoparticles-modified carbon fiber cloth-based dendrite-free anode for high-performance lithium metal batteries

At present,commercial Li-ion batteries are hardly to satisfy the growing demand for high energy density,for this purpose,lithium metal batteries have attracted worldwide attention in recent ***,its practical applications are hindered by the formation of Li dendrites and volume effect during Li plating/stripping process,which leads to a lot of safety ***,we first employed MOF-derived V_(2)O_(5) nanoparticles to decorate the carbon fiber cloth(CFC)backbone to acquire a lithiophilic 3. porous conductive framework(CFC@V_(2)O_(5)).Subsequently,the CFC@V_(2)O_(5) skeleton was permeated with molten Li to prepare CFC@V_(2)O_(5)@Li composite *** CFC@V_(2)O_(5)@Li composite anode can be stably cycled for more than 1650 h at high current density(5 mA·cm^(-2))and areal capacity(5 mA·h·cm^(–2)).The prepared full cell can initially maintain a high capacity of about 143.mA·h·g^(-1) even at a high current density of 5 C,and can still maintain 114 mA·h·g^(-1) after 1000 cycles.

The Changes of Histone Methylation Induced by Adolescent Social Stress Regulate the Resting-State Activity in mPFC

Early-life stress can lead to sustained alterations in regional resting-state brain functions, but the underlying molecular mechanism remains unclear. Stress can also induce sustained changes in epigenetic modifications across brain regions, which are not limited to a few genes;rather, they often tend to produce global levels of change. The functional implication of these changes also remains to be elucidated. We hypothesize that global epigenetic changes may partly modulate the resting-state functions of brain regions to influence behavior. To test this hypothesis, we used an adolescent social stress (ASS) model in mice and examined the relationship between epigenetic modifications and regional resting-state brain activity using resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging (rs-fMRI). The results showed that, compared to the control mice, the stressed mice showed increased anxiety and social avoidance behaviors and greater levels of dimethylation of histone H3.at lysine 9 (H3.9me2) in the medial prefrontal cortex (mPFC). In addition, the resting-state activity represented by the amplitude of low-frequency fluctuation (ALFF) was significantly lower in the mPFC of stressed mice. To verify the relationship of H3.9me2 and ALFF, the specific inhibition of H3.me2 was performed by using the drug UNC0642, which reversed the anxiety behavior induced by ASS and significantly increase the ALFF value of mPFC in both normal and ASS animals. Our study is the first to report an association between histone modifications and rs-fMRI findings, providing a new perspective for understanding of the significance of regional brain epigenetic changes and a possible molecular explanation for rs-fMRI findings.

HEN:a novel hybrid explainable neural network based framework for robust network intrusion detection

With the rapid development of network technology and the automation process for 5G, cyberattacks have become increasingly complex and threatening. In response to these threats, researchers have developed various network intrusion detection systems(NIDS) to monitor network traffic. However, the incessant emergence of new attack techniques and the lack of system interpretability pose challenges to improving the detection performance of NIDS. To address these issues, this paper proposes a hybrid explainable neural network-based framework that improves both the interpretability of our model and the performance in detecting new attacks through the innovative application of the explainable artificial intelligence(XAI)method. We effectively introduce the Shapley additive explanations(SHAP) method to explain a light gradient boosting machine(Light GBM) model. Additionally, we propose an autoencoder long-term short-term memory(AE-LSTM) network to reconstruct SHAP values previously generated. Furthermore, we define a threshold based on reconstruction errors observed during the training phase. Any network flow that surpasses the specified threshold is classified as an attack flow. This approach enhances the framework's ability to accurately identify attacks. We achieve an accuracy of 92.65%, a recall of 95.26%, a precision of 92.57%,and an F1-score of 93.90% on the dataset NSL-KDD. Experimental results demonstrate that our approach generates detection performance on par with state-of-the-art methods.

It is well established that Cretaceous magmatism in the South china Block(SCB)is related to the Paleo-Pacific ***,the starting time and the associated deep crust-mantle processes are still *** dike swarms carry important information on the deep earth(including mantle)geodynamics and geochemical *** the Jiangnan Orogen(South china).there is no information on whether the Mesozoic magmatic activities in this region are also directly related to the Pacific subduction or *** this study,we present detailed zircon U-Pb geochronological,wholerock element and Sr-Nd isotope data for Early Cretaceous Tuanshanbei dolerite dikes,and provide new constraints on the condition of the lithospheric mantle and mantle dynamics of the SCB during that ***-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating suggests that this dolerite erupted in the Early Cretaceous(~145 Ma).All samples have alkaline geochemical affinities with K_(2)O+Na_(2)O=3.11-4.04 wt%,K_(2)O/Na_(2)O=0.50-0.72,and Mg^(#)=*** are enriched in LILE but depleted in HFSE with higher initial^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr ratio(0.706896-0.714743.and lower ε_(Nd)(t)(-2.61 to-1.67).They have high Nb/U,Nb/La,La/Sm and Rb/Sr,and low La/Nb,La/Ta,Ce/Pb,Ba/Rb,Tb/Yb and Gd/Yb *** geochemical signatures suggest that the fractional crystallization is obvious but crustal contamination play a negligible role during magmatic *** dolerite were most likely derived from low-degree(2%-5%)partial melting of a phlogopite-bearing mantle material consisted of~85% spinel peridotite and~15% garnet peridotite previously metasomatized by asthenospherederived fluids/melts with minor subduction-derived fluids/***-rollback generally lead to the upwelling of the hot *** upwelling of asthenosphere consuming the lithospheric mantle by thermo-mechanical-chemical *** lithospheric mantle may have partially melted due to the heating by the upwelling asthenosphere and lithospheric extension.I
