Energy-saving in china's iron and steel industry still relies on the development and improvement of short-term energy saving ***,a special converter smelting technology incorporating energy saving was *** evaluate the energy-saving potential of the CO_(2.–O_(2.mixed injection(COMI)technology,collected production data were used to develop an improved techno-economic *** reveal that the technology can save energy through auxiliary material consumption,sensible heat of solid by-product,iron loss reduction,and energy *** application of COMI technology in an enterprise is cost effective,involving the energy saving potential of 0.2.6 GJ/t,the cost of conserved energy of−48.83 yuan/GJ,and a simple payback period of 0.35 year for a 60-million-yuan *** analysis shows that the investment cost and discount rate primarily influence the cost of conserved energy of the *** the discount rate increased,the cost of conserved energy also gradually ***,the COMI technology is an energy-saving technology with good development prospects.

Catalytic four-component radical carbonylation of unactivated alkenes has recently been recognized as a robust protocol for rapid construction of various structurally diverse carbonyl *** the significance of fluorine-containing groups,this reaction class has been extensively applied to assembly of a variety of perfluoroalkyl carboxylic acid derivatives by transition metal ***,we report a visible-light-driven radical relay 1,2.perfluoroalkylation aminocarbonylation of unactivated alkenes using CO gas as carbonyl source and 4CzIPN as organic photocatalyst.A wide range of alkenes and amines were well tolerated,providing the valuableβ-perfluoroalkylated amides with generally good yields and high chemoselectivity.

As usual, denote by KWr[a,b] the Sobolev class consisting of every function whose (r-1)th derivative is absolutely continuous on the interval [a,b] and rth derivative is bounded by K a.e. In [a,b]. For a function f ∈ KWr[a,b], its values and derivatives up to r-1 order at a set of nodes x are known. These values are said to be the given Hermite *** work reports the results on the best quadrature based on the given Hermite information for the class KWr[a,b]. Existence and concrete construction issue of the best quadrature are settled down by a perfect spline interpolation. It turns out that the best quadrature depends on a system of algebraic equations satisfied by a set of free nodes of the interpolation perfect spline. From our another new result, it is shown that the system can be converted in a closed form to two single-variable polynomial equations, each being of degree approximately r/2. As a by-product,the best interpolation formula for the class KWr[a,b] is also obtained.

On solving equations of algebraic sum of equal powers

It is well known that a system of equations of sum of equal powers can be converted to an algebraic equation of higher degree via Newton's identities. This is the Viete-Newton theorem. This work reports the generalizations of the Viete-Newton theorem to a system of equations of algebraic sum of equal powers. By exploiting some facts from algebra and combinatorics,it is shown that a system of equations of algebraic sum of equal powers can be converted in a closed form to two algebraic equations, whose degree sum equals the number of unknowns of the system of equations of algebraic sum of equal powers.

Using single cell channel model, the transmission features of CA3-DG network in the hippocampus are investigated. The influence of the stimulation on discharge pattern of pyramidal neurons is analyzed, which shows that it starts with period spiking discharges, followed by period-doubling bifurcation to chaos, and period 3 discharge evolving into chaos, and ultimately a period of bursting discharges. By the synaptic model, the CA3-DG network model is constructed, which analyzes the summation of postsynaptic currents in the network, the influence of postsynaptic current on discharge rhythm as well as the mechanism of bursting discharges. The strong capacity of spatiotemporal encoding in the network indicates the features of CA3 network during the information transmission process in the hippocampus. The modeling result with time delay of the synaptic transmission is in accordance with the experimental phenomena of action potential in the hippocampus.

Ethylene-propylene block copolymer(EbP) is a vital component in impact polypropylene copolymer(IPC), yet its distribution in the multiphase composite material and how it influences the phase structure and the mechanical properties are not well understood. In this work,four IPCs were investigated by atomic force microscopy-infrared(AFM-IR) to assess the phase compositions in situ, based on which in conjunction with the chain microstructure information obtained ex situ the distributions of the copolymer components were derived for each alloy. For the IPCs whose EbP comprises long P and long E segments, the EbP fraction was found to phase separate from the rubber and the PP matrix to form the cores of the disperse particles with the E-P segmented copolymer(EsP). In contrast, in the IPC with EbP composed of long P and short E segments, the EbP fraction formed an outer shell for the rubber particles with the cores comprising the EsP alone, and this IPC, containing a lower E comonomer content than its counterpart, exhibited both better impact resistance and higher flexural modulus. These results clarify how the chain structure of EbP governs the phase morphology in IPC, which in turn impacts the properties of the composite material.

Polymer density-functional theories(PDFTs)have distinct advantages in the study of polyelectrolyte(PE)systems over experiments and molecular *** we give an introductory review of some PDFTs recently developed for PE *** start with a general formalism of PDFTs and its relation to the widely used polymer self-consistent field theory(SCFT),then explain the various correlations that are neglected in SCFT but can be accounted for in PDFTs,including those due to the excluded-volume interaction and chain connectivity of uncharged polymers,the electrostatic correlations of small ions,and the chain correlations in *** also list some applications of PDFTs for PE systems,and finally give some perspectives on future *** hope that our review can attract more researchers to apply and further develop PDFTs as a promising class of theoretical and computational tools.

The penalized variable selection methods are often used to select the relevant covariates and estimate the unknown regression coefficients simultaneously,but these existing methods may fail to be consistent for the setting with highly correlated *** this paper,the semi-standard partial covariance(SPAC)method with Lasso penalty is proposed to study the generalized linear model with highly correlated covariates,and the consistencies of the estimation and variable selection are shown in high-dimensional settings under some regularity *** simulation studies and an analysis of colon tumor dataset are carried out to show that the proposed method performs better in addressing highly correlated problem than the traditional penalized variable selection methods.
