In computer aided geometric design （CAGD）, B′ezier-like bases receive more andmore considerations as new modeling tools in recent years. But those existing B′ezier-like basesare all defined over the rectangular domain. In this paper, we extend the algebraic trigono-metric B′ezier-like basis of order 4 to the triangular domain. The new basis functions definedover the triangular domain are proved to fulfill non-negativity, partition of unity, symmetry,boundary representation, linear independence and so on. We also prove some properties of thecorresponding B′ezier-like surfaces. Finally, some applications of the proposed basis are shown.

Solar cycles are fundamental to astrophysics,space exploration,technological infrastructure,and Earth's climate.A better understanding of these cycles and their history can aid in risk mitigation on Earth,while also deepening our knowledge of stellar physics and solar system *** the solar cycles between 1600 and 1700-especially the post-1645 Maunder Minimum,characterized by significantly reduced solar activity-poses challenges to existing solar activity *** study utilizes a new red equatorial auroral catalog from ancient Korean texts to establish solar cycle patterns from 1623 to ***,a further reevaluation of the solar cycles between 1610 and 1755 identified a total of 13 cycles,diverging from the widely accepted record of 12 cycles during that *** research enhances our understanding of historical solar activity,and underscores the importance of integrating diverse historical sources into modern analyses.

The vibration response and noise caused by subway trains can affect the safety and comfort of *** study the dynamic response characteristics of subway stations and superstructures under train loads with a hard combination,a numerical model is developed in this *** indoor model test verified the accuracy of the numerical *** influence laws of different hard combinations,train operating speeds and modes were studied and evaluated *** results show that the frequency corresponding to the peak vibration acceleration level of each floor of the superstructure property is concentrated at 10–20 *** vibration response decreases in the high-frequency parts and increases in the lowfrequency parts with increasing distance from the ***,the factors,such as train operating speed,operating mode,and hard combination type,will affect the vibration of the *** vibration response under the reversible operation of the train is greater than that of the unidirectional *** operating speed of the train is proportional to its vibration *** vibration amplification area appears between the middle and the top of the superstructure at a higher train *** vibration acceleration level will exceed the limit value of relevant regulations,and vibration-damping measures are *** the scope of application,this study provides some suggestions for constructing subway stations and superstructures.

BACKGROUND:Hepatic fibrosis is a necessary step in the development of hepatic *** this study we used lentiviral vector-mediated transfection technology to evaluate the effect of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma(PPAR-γ) on rat hepatic fibrosis. METHODS:Hepatic fibrosis in rats was induced by CCl4 for 2 weeks(early fibrosis)and 8 weeks(sustained fibrosis).The rats were randomly divided into four groups:normal control, fibrosis,blank vector,and PPAR-γ.They were infected with the recombinant lentiviral expression vector carrying the rat PPAR-γgene by portal vein *** liver of the rats was examined histologically and hydroxyproline was *** vitro primary hepatic stellate cells(HSCs)were infected with the recombinant lentiviral expression vector carrying the rat PPAR-γ*** status of HSC proliferation was measured by the MTT *** protein levels of PPAR-γ,α-smooth muscle actin(α-SMA)and type I collagen expression were evaluated by the Western blotting method. RESULTS:In vitro studies revealed that expression of PPAR-γ inhibited expression ofα-SMA and type I collagen in activated HSCs(P<0.01)as well as HSC proliferation(P<0.01).In vivo experiments indicated that in the early hepatic fibrosis group,the hydroxyproline content and the level of collagen I protein in the liver in the PPAR-γtransfected group were not significantly different compared to the hepatic fibrosis group and the blank vector group;whereas the expressions of PPAR-γ andα-SMA were different compared to the hepatic fibrosis group(P<0.01).In the sustained hepatic fibrosis group,there were significant differences in the hydroxyproline content and the expression of PPAR-γ,α-SMA,and type I collagen between each ***:PPAR-γcan inhibit HSC proliferation and hepatic fibrosis,and suppressα-SMA and type I collagen expression.

AIM： To isolate and identify the soybean conglycinin peptides that selectively stimulates the growth of bifidobacteria in vitro, and to investigate the effect of soybean conglycinin peptides on intestinal ecosystem in vivo. METHODS： Soybean conglycinin was purified from soybean seeds by gel filtration （Sepharose-CL-6B）. These proteins were submitted to hydrolysis by pepsin. Several growth-stimulating peptides for bifidobacteria were isolated chromatographically from pepsin hydrolysis of soybean conglycinin and identified by means of matrixassisted laser desorption ionization time of flight mass spectrometry （MALDI-TOF-MS）. Parallel to in vitro study, in vivo experiments with soybean conglycinin peptides were performed in mice. Ninety male KM mice were randomly assigned into five groups of 16 mice each, and each group was administered for 21d intragastrically with physiological saline （control）, conglycinin, pepsin-treated conglycinin （PTC）, the most active fraction which isolated from pepsin-treated conglycinin （P2-PTC） and HCl-full hydrolysis of conglycinin （HCl-FHC）, respectively. Intestinal microflora were evaluated by standard microbiologic methods and biochemical assays of cecal content samples after treatment. RESULTS： The results showed that the peptides which were isolated from soybean conglycinin could stimulate the growth of bifidobacteria in vitro, and the molecular mass of purified peptides with MALDI-TOF-MS ranged from 693.32 to 1829.55. Compared with control group, in vivo experiments showed that P2-PTC group decreased cecal pH （7.08±0.08 vs7.21±0.09, P〈0.05） and enterococcicounts （5.38±0.26 log10CFU/g vs 5.78±0.19 log10CFU/g, P〈0.05）, significantly increased sIgA level （172.08±35.40 ng/g vs 118.27±33.93 ng/g, P〈0.01） and β-galactosidase activity （1.28±0.23 U/g vs 1.82±0.58 U/g, P〈0.05） CONCLUSION： The results have shown that conglycinin is good source for enzyme-mediated production of peptides which stimulate the growth of bifidobacteria. This article proposes a distributed dynamic event-triggered data-driven iterative learning control(DET-DDILC)scheme under a predefined performance to tackle the bipartite tracking control problem for multiagent systems(MASs). An improved dynamic linearization technique is utilized to convert the nonlinear MASs into an iterative linear data model. First,a peer-to-peer mapping function is introduced to map the constrained distributed system output homeomorphism to an unconstrained one. In addition, a DET mechanism based on a time-iteration-varying function is devised to conserve network communication resources. Based on the unconstrained transformation and the designed DET mechanism, the DET-DDILC algorithm is devised to ensure that the bipartite tracking performance of MASs can be within the preset range. Finally, the effectiveness and feasibility of the designed control scheme are demonstrated via a simulation case by a comparison.

Background Gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinomas include adenocarcinomas of the distal esophagus （DE） and gastric cardia （GC）. It is controversial whether these tumors are the same entity and whether they have the same survival rates. Patients with DE and GC adenocarcinomas have a similar survival rate in the US; however, data are lacking in Asian countries. Therefore, we conducted a retrospective study to understand the implications of the tumor location in the survival of Asian patients. Methods A total of 209 patients with pathologically confirmed DE and GC adenocarcinomas, from 2005 to 2007, were included in the study. We identified patients with adenocarcinomas of the DE （DE group, n=91） and GC （GC group）（n=118）, We performed an unadjusted survival analysis using the Kaplan-Meier method, and used a Cox proportional hazards regression model to adjust for potential confounding covariates. Results We found no significant difference between the overall survival of the DE and GC groups. The 3-year survival rates were 44.8% and 53.0%, respectively, and the 5-year survival rates were 27.9% and 30.2%, respectively （P=0.162）. We found no significant difference in early staging, advanced staging, different T staging, and different N staging, between the groups. Both advanced post-operative N staging and advanced AJCC staging had a significant adverse effect on survival. Conclusions Patients with DE and GC adenocarcinomas have similar survival rates in the Asian population. Both post-operative N staging and AJCC staging are prognostic factors.

Hydrogen,a green and sustainable energy source characterized by its abundance,zero emission,and high-volumetric energy density,is widely recognized as the fuel of the future and a crucial driver of the global energy *** exchange membrane fuel cells(PEMFCs),renowned for their high energy conversion efficiency,environmental compatibility,and low noise,have become pivotal in hydrogen energy applications[1,2].As the demand for clean energy increases across various application scenarios,expectations for fuel cells to achieve high output power density,simplified thermal management,and improved tolerance to impurity gases are growing.A promising solution is to increase the operating temperature to develop medium-temperature PEMFCs(MT PEMFCs),which bridges the gap between low-temperature fuel cells and high-temperature phosphoric acid fuel *** approach significantly enhances catalyst activity and theoretically improves electrochemical reaction kinetics[3].Elevated temperatures also reduce heat rejection,leading to simplified thermal management systems,and enhance the catalyst’s resistance to gas impurities such as carbon monoxide,thereby broadening the range of usable hydrogen sources[3].
