Taking advantage of our improved gates as well as the Giorgi-Pasquale-Paganelli （GPP） nondestructive gate [Phys. Rev. A 70 （2004） 022319], the sign of any term of the initial state in the GPP model can be flipped. The success possibility of the sign flip of odd number of terms is probabilistic （11/4）, while the success possibility of the sign flip of even number of terms is deterministic （1）.

A new one-dimensional（1D） coordination polymer [Zn（MMTA）2]n（MMTA=5-mercapto-l-methyl-tetrazole） was synthesized under solvothermal conditions and characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction. This compound crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c, with cell parameters： a=1.4938（7） nm, b=1.3599（5） nm, c=1.2180（4） nm, fl=120.84（3）^＊, V=2.1243（2） nm^3, and Z=8. The deprotonated HMMTA molecule as a/a2-1igand links the zinc center, forming ID chains, which are luther linked by weak C--H...N hydrogen bonds, forming a three-dimensional supramolecular framework. The compound exhibits intense photoluminescence at room temperature. On the basis of the results of TG/DTA analyses, the structure is thermally stable up to -280 ℃.

Metallic zinc is an ideal anode material owing to its high theoretical capacity(819 mAh·g^(-1)),ecofriendliness,low cost and high safety,which have driven fast development of Zn-ion batteries(ZIBs).However,the practical application of current ZIBs is significantly restricted by irregular dendrite growth of zinc anode and the low working voltage(usually<2 V)of cathode ***,we report a high-voltage Zn-based dualion battery(DIB),which is constructed by a graphite cathode,a Zn anode,and 3 M LiPF_(6)in the ethyl methyl carbonate(EMC)*** the corrosion interaction of Li^(+)ions,Zn^(2+)can be easily dissolved from Zn anode into the electrolyte to enable dendrite-free Zn^(2+)plating/stripping at the ***,an aqueous carboxymethyl cellulose(CMC)binder is employed to generate a robust cathode electrolyte interface(CEI)layer on the graphite cathode,which renders ultrafast PF_(6)^(-)-de-/intercalation into *** resultant Zn-graphite DIB operates stably at a high cut off voltage of 3.2 V,corresponding to an average output voltage of 2.2 *** 9000cycles at 5C,the high capacity retention of 95.9% can be achieved with~100% Coulomb *** on the mass of cathode material,our Zn-graphite battery exhibits ultrafast rate capability(60 C,a discharge time of 44 s)and high energy/power densities(208 Wh·kg^(-1)at 214 W·kg^(-1);142 Wh·kg^(-1)at 8692 W·kg^(-1)),which holds great promise for large-scale energy storage.

Kernel development plays an important role in determining kernel size in *** we present the cloning and characterization of a maize gene,nitrate transporter1.5(NRT1.5),which controls small kernel phenotype by playing an important role in kernel development.A novel recessive small kernel mutant miniature2-m1(mn2-m1)was isolated from self-pollinated progenies of breeding *** mutant spontaneously showed small kernel character arresting both embryo and endosperm development at an early stage after *** 21 polymorphic SSR markers,the mn2-m1 locus was limited to a 209.9-kb interval using 9176 recessive individuals of a BC1 segregating population from mn2-m1/*** one annotated gene was located in this 209.9 kb region,Zm00001 d019294,which was predicted to encode nitrate transporter1.5(NRT1.5).Allelism tests confirmed that mn2-m1 was allelic to miniature2-m2(mn2-m2)and miniature2-710 B(mn2-710 B).The mn2-m1 and mn2-m2 alleles both had nucleotide deletions in the coding region resulting in premature termination,and the mn2-710 B allele had some missence *** localization showed that Miniature 2(MN2)is localized in the plasma *** real-time PCR(qRT-PCR)analysis revealed that the expression of MN2 and some genes involved in the basal endosperm transfer layer(BETL)and embryo surrounding region(ESR)development were affected in mn2-m1 *** results suggested that MN2 plays an important role in maize seed development.

The recent report of near-ambient superconductivity in the nitrogen-doped lutetium hydride has attracted considerable *** follow-up studies confirmed the pressure-induced color changes in both N-free and N-doped LuH_(2) but failed to reproduce superconductivity. It remains a puzzle why the samples in the original report exhibited pronounced resistance anomaly reminiscent of the superconducting transition. Here, we show that percolation of metallic grains with high conductivity through the insulating surfaces in cold-pressed LuH_(2) samples can occasionally produce sharp resistance drops, which even display magnetic field and/or current dependences but stay far from zero resistance. The insulating surface of LuH2grain should be attributed to the modification of hydrogen stoichiometry or the contamination by oxygen/nitrogen, resulting in an increase of resistance by over six orders of magnitude. Such an effect is more significant than that discovered recently in LaH_(3±x), which may indicate that LuH_(2) can be a potential superionic conductor. Our results call for caution in asserting the resistivity drops as superconductivity and invalidate the background subtraction in analyzing the corresponding resistance data.
