Two thermal barrier coating(TBC)systems comprising NiCoCrAlY bond coat onto a second-generation Ni-based single crystal superalloy and nano structured4 mol%Y_(2)O_(3)-stabilized ZrO_(2)(4YSZ)and conventional yttria-stabilized zirconia(YSZ)top coats upwardly were deposited by approaches of arc ion plating(AIP)and air plasma spray(APS).As indicted by the experimental results,the 4YSZ TBCs exhibited superior thermal cycling resistance compared with conventional YSZ TBCs at 1100℃.The 4YSZ top coat exhibited higher toughness due to its intrinsic property of nanocrystalline structure,homogeneously distributed and diverse directions of pores and preexisted *** cracks and spallation in 4YSZ TBCs occurred at the interface of top coat and thermally grown oxide(TGO)***,the crack initiation and propagation started along the lamellar interface in the top coat of conventional YSZ TBCs,leading to the rapid crack bridging and subsequent spalling of top ***,before and after oxidation,the 4YSZ top coat showed higher hardness compared to conventional YSZ top *** mechanism and distribution of residual stress in TGO for the 4YSZ TBCs were investigated in the current study.

Magnesium metal anode holds great potentials toward future high energy and safe rechargeable magnesium battery technology due to its divalent redox and dendrite-free nature. Electrolytes based on Lewis acid chemistry enable the reversible Mg plating/stripping,while they fail to match most cathode materials toward highvoltage magnesium batteries. Herein,reversible Mg plating/stripping is achieved in conventional carbonate electrolytes enabled by the cooperative solvation/surface engineering. Strongly electronegative Cl from the MgCl_(2) additive of electrolyte impairs the Mg…O = C interaction to reduce the Mg^(2+) desolvation barrier for accelerated redox kinetics,while the Mg^(2+)-conducting polymer coating on the Mg surface ensures the facile Mg^(2+) migration and the e ective isolation of electrolytes. As a result,reversible plating and stripping of Mg is demonstrated with a low overpotential of 0.7 V up to 2000 cycles. Moreover,benefitting from the wide electrochemical window of carbonate electrolytes,high-voltage(> 2.0 V) rechargeable magnesium batteries are achieved through assembling the electrode couple of Mg metal anode and Prussian blue-based cathodes. The present work provides a cooperative engineering strategy to promote the application of magnesium anode in carbonate electrolytes toward high energy rechargeable batteries.

The dominant wavelength range of edge impurity emissions moves from the visible range to the vacuum ultraviolet(VUV)range,as heating power increasing in the Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak(EAST).The measurement provided by the existing visible spectroscopies in EAST is not sufficient for impurity transport studies for high-parameters ***,in this study,a VUV spectroscopy is newly developed to measure edge impurity emissions in *** Seya-Namioka VUV spectrometer(McPherson 234/302)is used in the system,equipped with a concave-corrected holographic grating with groove density of 600 grooves *** line emissions can be observed in the wavelength range ofλ=50-700 nm,covering VUV,near ultraviolet and visible *** observed vertical range is Z=-350-350 *** minimum sampling time can be set to 5 ms under full vertical binning(FVB)*** spectroscopy has been used to measure the edge impurity emission for the 2019 EAST experimental *** spectra are identified for several impurity species,i.e.,lithium(Li),carbon(C),oxygen(O),and iron(Fe).Several candidates for tungsten(W)lines are also measured but their clear identification is very difficult due to a strong overlap with Fe *** evolutions of impurity carbon emissions of CⅡat 134.5 nm and CⅢat 97.7 nm are analyzed to prove the system capability of time-resolved *** measurements of the VUV spectroscopy are very helpful for edge impurity transport study in the high-parameters plasma in EAST.

In this paper, we investigate the Galois connections between two partially ordered objects in an arbitrary elementary topos. Some characterizations of Galois adjunctions which is similar to the classical case are obtained by means of the diagram proof. This shows that the diagram method can be used to reconstruct the classical order theory in an arbitrary elementary topos.

Ice avalanches are one of the most devastating mountain hazards,and can pose a great risk to the security of the surrounding *** ice avalanches have been widely observed in mountainous regions around the world,only a few ice avalanche events have been studied comprehensively,due to the lack of available *** this study,in response to the recent catastrophic rock-ice avalanche(7 February 2021)at Chamoli in the India Himalaya,we used high-resolution satellite images and found that this event was actually a glacier-rock landslide,where the collapse of the rock-ice body was caused by the sliding of the bedrock beneath the glacier,for which the source area and volume loss were about 2.89×10^(5) m^(2) and 2.46×10^(7) m^(3),respectively,corresponding to an average elevation change of about−85 ***,visual analysis of the dense time-series satellite images shows that the overall downward sliding of the collapsed rock-ice body initiated around the summer of 2017,and thereafter exhibited clear seasonality(mainly in summer).Meteorological analysis reveals a strong rainfall anomaly in the initiation period of the sliding and a remarkable winter warming anomaly in the 40 days before the *** of multi-temporal digital elevation models(DEMs)further suggest that the glacier geometry in the collapsed areas was likely changing(i.e.,accelerated surface thinning in the lower part of the glaciers and insignificant change in the upper part),which is consistent with the region-wide climate ***,by combining the above findings and a geomorphic analysis,we conclude that the rock-ice avalanche event was mainly caused by the joint effects of climate and weather changes acting on a steeply sloping and fracture-prone geological *** findings of this study provide new and valuable evidence for the study of slope/glacier instability at high *** study also highlights that,for the Himalaya and other high mountain ranges,there is an

Objective To investigate the effects and mechanisms of olfactory three-needle(OTN)electroacupuncture(EA)stimulation of the olfactory system on cognitive dysfunction,synaptic plasticity,and the gut microbiota in senescence-accelerated mouse prone 8(SAMP8)*** Thirty-six SAMP8 mice were randomly divided into the SAMP8(P8),SAMP8+OTN(P8-OT),and SAMP8+nerve transection+OTN(P8-N-OT)groups according to a random number table(n=12 per group),and 12 accelerated senescence-resistant(SAMR1)mice were used as the control(R1)*** was performed at the Yintang(GV 29)and bilateral Yingxiang(LI 20)acupoints of SAMP8 mice for 4 *** Morris water maze test,transmission electron microscopy,terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated dUTP nick-end labeling(TUNEL)staining,Nissl staining,Golgi staining,Western blot,and 16S rRNA sequencing were performed,*** Compared with the P8 group,OTN improved the cognitive behavior of SAMP8 mice,inhibited neuronal apoptosis,increased neuronal activity,and attenuated hippocampal synaptic dysfunction(Pbinding(CREB)signaling and phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase/protein kinase B/mammalian target of rapamycin(PI3K/AKT/mTOR)signaling compared with the P8 group(P<0.05 or P<0.01).However,the neuroprotective effect of OTN was attenuated by olfactory nerve *** with the P8 group,OTN had a very limited effect on the fecal microbial structure and composition of SAMP8 mice,while specifically increased the genera Oscillospira and Sutterella(P<0.05).Interestingly,the P8-N-OT group showed an abnormal fecal microbiota with higher microbialα-diversity,Firmicutes/Bacter

Introducing defects into graphene has been widely utilized to realize the negative magnetoresistanee(MR)effect in ***,the reported graphene negative MR exhibits only^10%under 10 T at room temperature to date,which extremely limits the resolution of future spintronics ***,intentional defect introduction can also cause unintentional degradation in graphene's intrinsic *** this paper,we report a magnetic logic inverter based on a crossed structure of defect-free graphene,resulting in a substantial gain of 4.81 mV/T while exhibiting room temperature *** crossed structure of graphene shows large unsaturated room temperature negative MR with an enhancement of up to 1,000%at 9 T.A transition behavior between negative and positive MR is observed in this crossed structure and the transition temperature can be tuned by a ratio of the conductivity between in-plane and out-of-plane *** results open an intriguing path for future two-dimensional spintronics device applications.

In authors’ previous work [Mater. Charact. 141 (2018) 212-222]. it was found that the heterogeneous deformed microstructures can be replaced by the relatively homogeneous recrystallized grains through an annealing treatment. However, there are still some relatively large recrystallized grains. To find the reasons for the formation of large grains, some new annealing treatment tests were done, and the cellular automation (CA) simulations were carried out in the present work. The experimental results showed that the microstructural evolution during annealing treatment is significantly affected by the content of S phase. So. the effects of δ phase on the nucleation and growth of grains are carefully considered in the CA model to accurately simulate the microstructural evolution behavior. By the CA simulation, it is found that the dislocation density rapidly decreases due to the nucleation of static recrystallization (SRX) and the growth of dynamc recrystallization (DRX) nuclei at the early stage of annealing. The high initial dislocation density provide the high velocity for the growth of DRX nuclei, which is responsible for the formation of coarse grains, However, the growth rate of SRX nuclei is relatively small due to the low dislocation density and pinning effects of δ phase.
