Distribution of Mineral Nutrients and Active Ingredients in Aloe vera Irrigated with Diluted Seawater

With increasing demand for irrigation water, agricultural scientists and planners pay more attention to the utilization of diluted seawater as an alternative source for irrigation of crops. A greenhouse pot experiment was conducted to study how seawater stress(SS) affects growth, water content, cationic accumulation, and active ingredients in leaves of Aloe vera after 30 d of growth in nutrient media with 0%(control), 22%(22% SS), and 42%(42% SS) seawater stress. Results indicated the SS did not change dry biomass of leaves and stems, but gradually decreased biomass allocation to roots with increasing seawater stress. Na+and Cl-in A. vera plant did not increase obviously with a big increase in seawater percentage due to low transpiration of Aloe vera. 42% SS decreased N concentration in most plant organs, but did not change or increased P concentration. Seawater stress tended to decrease concentrations of K+and Ca2+in A. vera. However, seawater salinity tended to increase the concentrations of aloin concentration in top(young) and middle leaves, and there was no significant effect of both stresses on aloin concentration in base(old) leaves. The 42% SS treatment decreased polysaccharide concentrations only in the base leaves, but not in top and middle leaves. In summary, supplying suitably diluted seawater for 30 d could increase the qualities and value of A. vera, without substantial effects on shoot dry biomass production.

Apiaceae is one of the most important families in Apiales and includes many economically important vegetables and medicinal *** TEOSINTE BRANCHED 1/CYCLOIDEA/PROLIFERATING CELL FACTOR 1/2(TCP)gene family plays an important role in regulating plant growth and development,but it has not been widely studied in *** the present study,we identified 215 TCP family genes in six species of plant,of which 122 genes were present in three Apiaceae including 29 in celery(Apium graveolens),43 in coriander(Coriandrum sativum),and 50 in carrot(Daucus carota).Whole-genome duplication likely contributed to TCP gene family expansion in *** were more paralogs in carrot than in coriander and celery,which was attributable to the greater number of tandem and proximal duplicated genes on chromosome *** microRNAs were found to regulate 20 TCP genes in the three Apiaceae species,with miR-319 having the most target *** TCP genes showed high expression in the root,petiole and leaf of celery and *** results provide a basis for comparative and functional genomic analyses of TCP genes in Apiaceae and other plants.

Recent research has highlighted structural and functional abnormalities in the cerebral cortex of patients with premature ejaculation(PE).These anomalies could play a pivotal role in the physiological mechanisms underlying *** study leveraged functional magnetic resonance imaging(fMRI),a noninvasive technique,to explore these neural *** conducted resting-state fMRI scans on 36 PE patients and 22 healthy controls(HC),and collected data on Premature Ejaculation Diagnostic Tool(PEDT)scores and intravaginal ejaculation latency time(IELT).Employing a surface-based regional homogeneity(ReHo)approach,we analyzed local neural synchronous spontaneous activity,diverging from previous studies that utilized a volume-based ReHo *** with significant ReHo differences between PE and HC groups underwent surface-based functional connectivity(FC)*** discrepancies in ReHo and FC across the cortical surface were observed in the PE ***,PE patients exhibited decreased ReHo in the left triangular inferior frontal gyrus and enhanced ReHo in the right middle frontal *** latter showed heightened connectivity with the left lingual gyrus and the right orbital superior frontal ***,a correlation between ReHo and FC values with PEDT scores and IELT was found in the PE *** findings,derived from surface-based fMRI data,underscore specific brain regions linked to the neurobiological underpinnings of PE.

[Objective] The aim was to obtain higher COD removal rate so as to guide the process of citric acid industrial wastewater. [Method] The effects of controllable factors, acidification time, hydraulic retention time, and influent COD concentration, in-anaerobic treatment process of citric acid wastewater on COD removal rate were studied and the COD removal rate was optimized by response surface method. [Result] There was no interaction between acidification time and the other two factors. It was showed that hydraulic retention time and influent COD concentration had significant effect on COD removal rate and there was interaction between the two factors. The optimum COD removing process conditions was as follows: acidification time 1.53 h, hydraulic retention time 3.52 h and influent COD concentration 2 698 mg/L. Under the optimized conditions, the COD removal rate was 93.31% and it was much closed to the experimental result, 93.29%. [Conclusion] Using response surface method to optimize the anaerobic treatment of citric acid wastewater can result in optimized achievement.

针对航空发动机高空台推力瞬变等过渡态试验对进气环境模拟控制系统所提出的强抗扰性、强鲁棒性的迫切需求,设计了一种基于扩张状态观测器(ESO)的高空台进气环境模拟主动抗扰控制技术方法。首先分析了现有高空台过渡态环境模拟的技术特点和高品质控制指标难于实现的原因;其次设计线性自抗扰控制器(LADRC)和一体化并行控制器(IPC);最后通过仿真对高空台进气环境模拟主动抗扰控制方法进行了验证。结果表明,应用基于扩张状态观测器的主动抗扰控制技术,能够大幅提高发动机过渡态试验中进气环境模拟的动态响应速度、控制精度和抗扰动能力。
