As two kinds of emerging chemicals, the pollution of polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) and perfluoroocatane sulfonate (PFOS) has been becoming a global environmental problem. Also, research of the transport, transfer, bioaccumulation in organism, and toxicology of these two kinds of pollutant is a hotspot in environmental sciences now. In this paper, we summarize and critically review the status and progress of PBDEs and PFOS exposure to human beings. Further, data analyses based on statistical methods are done to study the characters of PBDEs and PCBs concentrations in different regions in the world.

Soil is a major sink for per-and perfluoroalkyl substances(PFAS),wherein PFAS may be transferred through the food chain to predators at upper trophic levels,which poses a threat to human ***,the concentrations and distributions of legacy and novel PFAS in topsoil samples from different functional areas in Tianjin were comprehensively *** PFAS congeners were identified,with concentrations ranging from 0.21 ng/g to 5.35 ng/g,with a mean concentration of 1.25 ng/*** main PFAS in the topsoil was perfluorooctanoic acid(PFOA).6:2 chlorinated polyfluorinated ether sulfonate(6:2 ClPFESA;C8)were the major sources(43.4%),followed by food packaging as well as coating materials(25.5%).In addition,Spearman correlation analysis and the structural equation model showed that population density significantly impacted the PFAS distribution in the topsoil of Tianjin.

This work proposes a reinforcement learning(RL)approach to tackle the control problem of branch overload relief in large power ***,a control agent is trained to change generators'real power output in order to relieve the stressed *** large power systems,this control problem becomes one whose decision space(i.e.,the action space)is both highly-dimensioned and *** makes it extremely difficult to have successful training for RL-based *** improve the effectiveness,a data-driven and model-based hybrid approach is proposed to optimize the control by combining RL-agent actions and generator shifting factor-driven ***,with the proposed approach the RL-agent successfully trains on large power *** proposed design is tested on both the IEEE 118-bus testing system and a 2749-bus real *** obtained results show that the proposed hybrid approach outperforms the data-driven training approach.

Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopic analysis of metabonome/metabolome has widespread applications in biomedical science researches. However, most of NMR resonances for urinary metabolites remain to be fully assigned. In the present study, human urine samples from two healthy volunteers were pre-treated with C18 solid-phase extraction and the resultant 5 sub-fractions were subjected to one- and two-dimensional NMR studies, including 1H J-Resolved, 1H-1H COSY, 1H-1H TOCSY, 1H-13C HSQC, and HMBC 2D NMR. More than 70 low molecular weight metabolites were identified, and complete assignments of 1H and 13C resonances including many complex coupled spin systems were obtained.

The importance of transaction fees in maintaining blockchain security and sustainability has been confirmed by extensive research,although they are not mandatory in most current blockchain *** enhance blockchain in the long term,it is crucial to design effective transaction pricing *** from the existing schemes based on auctions with more consideration about the profit of miners,we resort to game theory and propose a correlated equilibrium based transaction pricing mechanism through solving a pricing game among users with transactions,which can achieve both the individual and global *** avoid the computational complexity exponentially increasing with the number of transactions,we further improve the game-theoretic solution with an approximate algorithm,which can derive almost the same results as the original one but costs significantly reduced *** also propose a truthful assessment model for pricing mechanism to collect the feedback of users regarding the price *** experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of our proposed mechanism.

Lung cancer is the most prevalent cancer diagnosis and the leading cause of cancer death *** failure in lung cancer(LUAD)is heavily influenced by drug *** challenge stems from the diverse cell populations within the tumor,each having unique genetic,epigenetic,and phenotypic *** variations lead to varied therapeutic responses,thereby contributing to tumor relapse and disease ***:The Genomics of Drug Sensitivity in Cancer(GDSC)database was used in this investigation to obtain the mRNA expression dataset,genomic mutation profile,and drug sensitivity information of *** Learning(ML)methods,including Random Forest(RF),Artificial Neurol Network(ANN),and Support Vector Machine(SVM),were used to predict the response status of each compound based on the mRNA and mutation characteristics determined using statistical *** most suitable method for each drug was proposed by comparing the prediction accuracy of different ML methods,and the selected mRNA and mutation characteristics were identified as molecular features for the drug-responsive cancer ***,the prognostic influence of molecular features on the mutational subtype of LUAD in publicly available ***:Our analyses yielded 1,564 gene features and 45 mutational features for 46 *** the ML approach to predict the drug response for each medication revealed an upstanding performance for SVM in predicting Afuresertib drug response(area under the curve[AUC]0.875)using CIT,GAS2L3,STAG3L3,ATP2B4-mut,and IL15RA-mut as molecular ***,the ANN algorithm using 9 mRNA characteristics demonstrated the highest prediction performance(AUC 0.780)in Gefitinib with ***:This work extensively investigated the mRNA and mutation signatures associated with drug response in LUAD using a machine-learning approach and proposed a priority algorithm to predict drug response for different drugs.

Chlorinated paraffins（SCCPs） are widely used worldwide, and they can be released into the environment during their production, transport, usage and disposal, which pose potential risks for human health. In this work, an efficient, reliable and rapid pretreatment method based on matrix solid-phase dispersion（MSPD） was developed for the analysis of short-chain CPs（SCCPs） in human placenta by gas chromatograph-electron capture negative ion low-resolution mass spectrometry（GC-ECNI-LRMS） and gas chromatography–quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry（GC–QTOF-HRMS）. The MSPD-relevant parameters including dispersing sorbent,sample-to-sorbent mass ratio, and elution solvent were optimized using the orthogonal *** gel was found to be the optimal dispersing sorbent among the selected matrices. Under the optimal conditions, 44% acidic silica gel can be used as the co-sorbent to remove lipid and eluted by the mixture of hexane and dichloromethane（7：3, V/V）. The spiked recoveries of the optimized method were 77.4% and 91.4% for analyzing SCCPs in human placenta by GC-ECNI-LRMS and GC–QTOF-HRMS, and the corresponding relative standard deviations were10.2% and 5.6%, respectively. The method detection limit for the total SCCPs was 36.8 ng/g（dry weight, dw） and 19.2 ng/g（dw） as measured by GC-ECNI-LRMS and GC–QTOF-HRMS,respectively.
