Microbial community structure of different tongue fur types in patients with chronic gastritis

OBJECTIVE:To explore the correlation between tongue and oral microbiota,we studied the microbial community structure of different tongue coating types in patients with chronic gastritis.METHODS:16S rDNA gene sequencing and bioinformatics analysis were used to study the dynamic changes and correlation of microbial flora in patients with chronic gastritis,healthy people,and patients with different tongue fur.In addition,it was also discussed between the severity of gastritis and the microflora of tongue fur.RESULTS:The microbial diversity of tongue fur in patients with chronic gastritis was significantly different from healthy controls.There were significant changes in bacterial communities’diversity and relative abundance between extra tongue fur in patients but not in healthy people.Oral bacteria with relative abundance>1%and P<0.05 among different tongue fur flora were dominant bacteria,including 12 phyla such as Bacteroidetes,Proteobacteria and Firmicutes,and 256 genera such as Neisseria,Prevotella_7 and Haemophilus.CONCLUSIONS:The changes in oral flora in patients with chronic gastritis were related to tongue fur.Therefore,the significant microbiota might enlighten further study on the correlation between tongue inspection and oral microbiota in patients with chronic gastritis.

Harris Hawks Optimizer (HHO) is a recent well-established optimizer based on the hunting characteristics of Harris hawks, which shows excellent efficiency in solving a variety of optimization issues. However, it undergoes weak global search capability because of the levy distribution in its optimization process. In this paper, a variant of HHO is proposed using Crisscross Optimization Algorithm (CSO) to compensate for the shortcomings of original HHO. The novel developed optimizer called Crisscross Harris Hawks Optimizer (CCHHO), which can effectively achieve high-quality solutions with accelerated convergence on a variety of optimization tasks. In the proposed algorithm, the vertical crossover strategy of CSO is used for adjusting the exploitative ability adaptively to alleviate the local optimum;the horizontal crossover strategy of CSO is considered as an operator for boosting explorative trend;and the competitive operator is adopted to accelerate the convergence rate. The effectiveness of the proposed optimizer is evaluated using 4 kinds of benchmark functions, 3 constrained engineering optimization issues and feature selection problems on 13 datasets from the UCI repository. Comparing with nine conventional intelligence algorithms and 9 state-of-the-art algorithms, the statistical results reveal that the proposed CCHHO is significantly more effective than HHO, CSO, CCNMHHO and other competitors, and its advantage is not influenced by the increase of problems’ dimensions. Additionally, experimental results also illustrate that the proposed CCHHO outperforms some existing optimizers in working out engineering design optimization;for feature selection problems, it is superior to other feature selection methods including CCNMHHO in terms of fitness, error rate and length of selected features.

The main objective of this study is the technical optimization of a Shell-and-Tube Heat Exchanger(STHE).In order to do so,a simulation model is introduced that takes into account the related gas-phase circulation.Then,simulation verification experiments are designed in order to validate the model.The results show that the tem-peraturefield undergoes strong variations in time when an inlet wind speed of 6 m/s is considered,while the heat transfer error reaches a minimum of 5.1%.For an inlet velocity of 9 m/s,the heat transfer drops to the lowest point,while the heat transfer error reaches a maximum,i.e.,9.87%.The pressure drop increasesfirst and then decreases with an increase in the wind speed and reaches a maximum of 819 Pa under the 9 m/s wind speed con-dition.Moreover,the pressure drops,and the heat transfer coefficient increases with the Reynolds number.

Using CaCO_(3),Sc_(2)O_(3),and CeO_(2) as raw materials,we prepared the CaSc_(2)O_(4):Ce^(3+)green phosphors for white light LEDs via a high-temperature solid-phase method in a reducing atmosphere.X-ray diffraction(XRD),field emission scanning electron microscopy(FESEM),fluorescence spectroscopy and other means were used to characterize the phase structure,apparent morphology,and photoluminescence properties of the product.CaSc_(2)O_(4) was synthesized under a reducing atmosphere(95%N_(2)+5%H_(2))at 1400℃ for 4 hours.Upon excitation with a blue light(450 nm wavelength),CaSc_(2)O_(4):Ce^(3+)displays a broadband green emission peak at 525 nm.The color coordinates of CaSc_(2)O_(4):7%Ce^(3+)emission peak are(0.3712,0.5940),and the product morphology is 1μm granular.Hence,it acts as a green phosphor suitable for white LEDs that can be excited by blue light.

Background:Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is a common malignant tumor with poor prognosis and high mortality worldwide.Although cystathionine-gamma-lyase(CSE)plays an important role in the development of multiple tumors,the clinical implication and potential mechanisms of CSE in HCC development remain elusive.Methods:In our study,the CSE expression in HCC was analyzed in Gene Expression Omnibus(GEO)and The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)datasets and further conﬁrmed by RT-qPCR and immunohistochemistry assays in HCC samples.Furthermore,the associations between CSE expression and HCC malignancy as well as survival were analyzed in GSE14520 and validated in HCC patients.Finally,the biological functions of CSE in HCC cells was assessed by CCK-8,ﬂow cytometry and Western blotting.Results:Lower transcriptional and proteomic CSE expressions were found in HCC tissues in contrast to adjacent normal tissues.Decreased CSE mRNA expression was signiﬁcantly associated with advanced clinicopathological features and poor outcomes in HCC patients from public database and our cohort.Following univariate and multivariate analyses of GSE14520 data showed that CSE expression was an independent prognostic indicator for the overall survival(OS)and recurrence-free survival(RFS)of HCC patients.In vitro experiments further explained that CSE might trigger HCC cell apoptosis by H2S.Conclusion:In summary,the present study identiﬁed the relationship between CSE expression and HCC malignancy as well as OS and RFS,indicating that CSE might be a potential prognostic biomarker and a novel therapeutic target for HCC.

Unraveling the key structural features to maximize the chiroptical properties is of significance for developing high-performance chiral materials.Here we present our first attempt to elucidate and understand the molecular design of excellent chiroptical properties via the combination of multiplicity and the alignment of subhelicenes.Two stereoisomeric PDI-bladed quintuple[6]helicenes,namely D_(5)-CRP and C_(2)-CRP,were revealed to show distinct spatial arrangements of subhelicenes.Circular dichroism(CD)spectra showed that the Cotton effects(Δε)are reaching 1,412 mol-1L cm-1for D_(5)-CRP and 669 mol^(-1)L cm^(-1)for C_(2)-CRP in the visible spectrum.The greatly amplifiedΔεrelative to the smaller analogue NPDH arises from the circular annulation of helicenes and high molecular symmetry that could significantly regulate the transition dipole moments and thereby make them tend to be(anti)parallel,as supported by TDDFT calculations for the rotatory strength(R).Consequently,the maximal dissymmetry factors(|g_(abs)|and|g_(lum)|)of this kind of chiral molecular carbon imides were estimated to be up to 0.021 and 0.012,respectively.This study provides a deep insight into the chiroptical properties of complicated chiral systems.

Multi-beam satellite communication systems can improve the resource utilization and system capacity effectively.However,the inter-beam interference,especially for the satellite system with full frequency reuse,will degrade the system performance greatly due to the characteristics of multi-beam satellite antennas.In this article,the user scheduling and resource allocation of a multi-beam satellite system with full frequency reuse are jointly studied,in which all beams can use the full bandwidth.With the strong inter-beam interference,we aim to minimize the system latency experienced by the users during the process of data downloading.To solve this problem,deep reinforcement learning is used to schedule users and allocate bandwidth and power resources to mitigate the inter-beam interference.The simulation results are compared with other reference algorithms to verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

Associations of Infarct Size and Regional Myocardial Function Examined by Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Feature Tracking Strain Analysis with the Infarct Location in Patients with Acute ST-Segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction

Objective To quantitatively evaluate the associations of infarct size,regional myocardial function examined by cardiac magnetic resonance feature tracking(CMR-FT)strain analysis with infarct location in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI)treated by primary percutaneous coronary intervention.Methods Cardiac magnetic resonance images were retrospectively analyzed in 95 consecutive STEMI patients with successful reperfusion.The patients were divided into the anterior wall myocardial infarction(AWMI)and nonanterior wall myocardial infarction(NAWMI)groups.Infarct characteristics were assessed by late gadolinium enhancement.Global and regional strains and associated strain rates in the radial,circumferential and longitudinal directions were assessed by CMR-FT based on standard cine images.The associations of infarct size,regional myocardial function examined by CMR-FT strain analysis with infarct location in STEMI patients were evaluated by the Spearman or Pearsonmethod.Results There were 44 patients in the AWMI group and 51 in the NAWMI group.The extent of left ventricular enhanced mass was significantly larger in patients with AWMI compared with the NAWMI group(24.47±11.89,21.06±12.08%LV;t=3.928,P=0.008).In infarct zone analysis,strains in the radial,circumferential and longitudinal directions were remarkably declined in the AWMI group compared with the NAWMI group(z=-20.873,-20.918,-10.357,all P<0.001).The volume(end-systolic volume index),total enhanced mass and extent of enhanced mass of the left ventricular were correlated best with infarct zone strain in the AWMI group(all P<0.001).Conclusion In STEMI patients treated by percutaneous coronary intervention,myocardial damage is more extensive and regional myocardial function in the infarct zone is lower in the AWMI group compared with the NAWMI group.
