We report a novel cyano migration-mediated radical-polar crossover process, whereby both the sulfonylcyanation of aliphatic alkenes and the formation of cyclopropanes are concurrently achieved. This transformation yields a diverse array of multisubstituted cyclopropanes under mild photocatalytic conditions. Mechanistic studies elucidate that the reaction proceeds via intramolecular nucleophilic substitution, leading to the formation of the cyclopropane derivatives.

Glehniae Radix has a wide range of pharmaceutical applications， and research on its main components has mainly focused on coumarins， alkaloids， lignans， and flavonoids， while neglecting the research on polysaccharides. Literature reports and our previous studies have shown that polysaccharides have certain therapeutic significance in immune regulation， antioxidant， anti-inflammatory and other aspects. Herein， the rat model of ulcerative colitis (UC) was established to evaluate the anti-inflammatory efficacy of the prepared Glehniae Radix polysaccharide (GLP) from the perspectives of inflammatory factors， intestinal tissue morphology， and microflora changes. The polysaccharides are mainly composed of galacturonic acid， rhamnose， glucose， galactose， and arabinose in molar ratios of 1.4:9.2:33.3:2.5:2.9， and GLP could downregulate the expression pro-inflammatory factors (interleukin-6， tumor necrosis factor-α， and interferon-γ) and significantly upregulate the expression of anti-inflammatory factor (interleukin-10). In addition， Glehniae Radix aqueous extract (GLA)， GLP with low dosage (GLPL) and GLP with high dosage (GLPH) could increase the number of goblet cells， enhance the integrity of crypt structure， and reverse the status of inflammatory infiltrating cells. Moreover， GLA and GLPH could upregulate Lactobacillus and Lachnoclostridium in UC rats， and appropriately downregulate Lachnospiraceae＿NK4A136＿group， thereby optimizing the proportion of bacterial flora and improving the intestinal microbial environment. Our findings not only be valuable as theoretical materials for the further clinical applications of GLP， but the identified biomarkers and metabolic pathways also provide new clues for the diagnosis of UC.

The Au-Pt alloy nanoparticles（Au-PtNPs） were electrochemically deposited on the surface of polyaniline nanotube（nanoPAN） and chitosan（CS） modified glassy carbon electrode（GCE）. The electrochemical behavior of lincomycin at Au-PtNPs/nanoPAN/CS modified GCE was investigated by cyclic voltammetry, linear sweep voltammetry and chronocoulometry. Cyclic voltammetric experiments show that lincomycin at the nanocomposite membrane modified electrode exhibited a pair of quasi-reversible redox peaks in pH=6.0 PBS. The membrane could accelerate the electron transfer of lincomycin on the electrode and significantly enhance the peak current. In a range of 3.0-100.0 mg/L, the reductive peak current of lincomycin at 0.42 V was linearly related to its concentration and the linear regression equation was ip,c=0.2703ρ-0.0042（ip, c： μA; ρ： mg/L; r=0.998, n=7） with a detection limit of 1.0 mg/L（S/N =3）. Compared with other methods, this method exhibited many advantages such as high sensitivity, selectivity, wide linear range and low detection limit. The method was used to determine the content of lincomycin in injections commercially available with satisfactory results. Some electrochemical parameters involved in the redox reaction of lincomycin, such as parameter of kinetic ha, standard rate constant ks and the number of H^＋, were also calculated.

In non-small cell lung cancers,the non-squamous and squamous subtypes（nsqNSCLC and sqNSCLC） exhibit disparities in pathophysiology,tumor immunology,and potential genomic correlates affecting responses to immune checkpoint inhibitor（ICI）-based *** our inhouse training cohort（n=85）,the presence of the LRP1B deleterious mutation（LRP1B-del） was associated with longer and shorter progression-free survival（PFS） on ICIs alone in nsqNSCLCs and sqNSCLCs,respectively(Pinteraction=0.008).These results were validated using a larger public ICI cohort(n=208,Pinteraction<0.001).Multiplex immunofluorescence staining revealed an association between LRP1B-del and increased and decreased numbers of tumor-infiltrating CD8+T cells in nsqNSCLCs（P=0.040） and sqNSCLCs（P=0.014）,*** the POPLAR/OAK cohort,nsqNSCLCs with LRP1B-del demonstrated improved PFS benefits from atezolizumab over docetaxel(hazard ratio（HR）=0.70,P=0.046),whereas this benefit was negligible in those without LRP1B-del（HR=1.05,P=0.64）.Conversely,sqNSCLCs without LRP1B-del benefited more from atezolizumab（HR=0.60,P=0.002） than those with LRP1B-del（HR=1.30,P=0.31）.Consistent results were observed in the in-house CHOICE-01 cohort,in which nsqNSCLCs with LRP1B-del and sqNSCLCs without LRP1B-del benefited more from toripalimab plus chemotherapy than from chemotherapy alone(Pinteraction=0.008).This multi-cohort study delineates the antithetical impacts of LRP1B-del in nsqNSCLCs and sqNSCLCs on predicting the benefits from ICI alone or with chemotherapy over chemotherapy *** findings highlight the distinct clinical utility of LRP1B-del in guiding treatment choices for nsqNSCLCs and sqNSCLCs,emphasizing the necessity for a detailed analysis based on pathological subtypes when investigating biomarkers for cancer therapeutics.

A new method to determine the concentration of amikacin （AMK） using methyl blue （MB） as electrochemical probe was developed in this paper. In pH 4.5 Britton-Robinson （B-R） buffer solution, the MB reacted with AMK to form ion association complexes, which led to the reductive peak current of MB at -0.275 V （versus SCE） to decrease, and the decreases were linear with the concentration of AMK in the range of 1.0-60.0 mg/L, the regression of equation is AIp （hA） = -8.48 ＋ 102.36c （rag/L）, correlation coefficient yis 0.997. The conditions for determining the concentration of AMK using linear sweep voltammetry （SLV） were optimized. The method was used to determine the content of amikacin commercially available with satisfactory results.

A new approach for a simple electrochemical detection of PAT gene fragment is described. Poly(2,6-pyridinedicarboxylic acid) (PDC) modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE) was prepared by potential scan electropolymerization in an aqueous solution. Mg2+ ions were incorporated by immer-sion of the modified electrode in 0.5 mol/L aqueous solution of MgCl2 to complete the preparation of a generic "activated" electrode ready for binding the probe DNA. The ssDNA was linked to the conduct-ing polymer by forming a bidentate complex between the carboxyl groups on the polymer and the phosphate groups of DNA via Mg2+. DNA immobilization and hybridization were characterized with dif-ferential pulse voltammetry (DPV) by using methylene blue (MB) as indicator and electrochemical im-pedance spectroscopy (EIS). The EIS was of higher sensitivity for DNA detection as compared with voltammetric methods in our strategy. The electron transfer resistance (Ret) of the electrode surface in EIS in [Fe(CN)6]3-/4- solution increased after the immobilization of the DNA probe on the Mg/PDC/GCE electrode. The hybridization of the DNA probe with complementary DNA (cDNA) made Ret increase further. The difference between the Ret at ssDNA/Mg/PDC/GCE and that at hybridization DNA modified electrode (dsDNA/Mg/PDC/GCE) was applied to determine the specific sequence related to the target PAT gene with the dynamic range comprised between 1.0 × 10-9 and 1.0 × 10_5 mol/L. A detection limit of 3.4 × 10-10 mol/L of oligonucleotides can be estimated.

Controllable fabrication of Au micro/nanostructures on self-doped polyaniline nanofibers via electrochemical deposition and its application for DNA immobilization

Four electrochemical methods, cyclic voltammetric deposition, potentiostatic electrodeposition, multi-potential step electrodeposition and three-step electrodeposition, were used to fabricate Au micro/nanostructures on self-doped polyaniline nanofibers-coated glassy carbon electrodes (Au/nanoSPAN/GCEs). The Au micro/nanostructures deposited on the nanoSPAN-modified electrodes were shown by scanning electron microscopy to exhibit different morphologies, such as Au nanoparticle clusters, monodisperse nanoparticles and homogeneously dispersed flower-like microparticles, depending on the deposition method. This phenomenon demonstrates that control over the morphology of Au metal can be easily achieved by adjusting the electrodeposition method. The electrochemical behaviors of the Au/nanoSPAN/GCEs also varied with above four methods, which were characterized by cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. In comparison with Au nanoparticle clusters and monodisperse Au nanoparticles, homogeneously dispersed flower-like Au microparticles had the largest surface area and obviously enhanced electrochemical response towards the redox reactions of [Fe(CN)6]3–/4– on the modified electrode. DNA immobilization on the Au/nanoSPAN/GCEs was investigated by differential pulse voltammetry using [Fe(CN)6]3–/4– as an indicator. The efficiency of DNA immobilization was inherently related to their different Au micro/nanostructure morphologies. The Au/nano-SPAN/GCE fabricated by three-step electrodeposition showed the largest capacity for immobilization of single stranded DNA, which makes it a promising DNA biosensor.

As a class of functional crystalline porous materials, metal-organic frameworks(MOFs) gained rapid development in the past three decades and a large number of MOFs with ordered structures, high surface areas, and functionalized channels have been investigated. MOFs and MOF-derived/composite materials show great potential in many application fields. In this review, we discussed the main applications of MOFs and MOF-derived/composite materials in small molecule storage, separation, luminescence, sensing, multitype catalysis, and energy storage. In addition, challenges and problems in the future research of MOFsrelated fields are also discussed.
