Hydrothermal treatment of MCl2 （ M = Co or Cu ） , NH4 VO3, and 1,10-phenanthroline-5,6-dione （pdon） resulted in the formation of a duplex coordination polymer [ Co （ bpdc ）（ H2O ） 3 ] · H2O （ bpdc = 2,2＇-bipyridine-3,3＇-dicarboxylate） and a chain-like coordination polymer [ Cu （bpy） V2O6 ] （ bpy = 2,2＇-bipyridine ）. X-ray single-crystal structural analysis shows that under hydrothermal conditions and in the presence of different transition metals, the organic reagent pdon was transformed in situ into bpdc and bpy, respectively. Mechanism of the in situ ligand synthesis reaction has been discussed.

A new dinuclear complex, [Ag（L）（CH3CN）]2（ClO4）2·2H2O（L=2,3-di-2-pyridylquinoxaline）, was prepared and characterized by elemental analyses, IR spectroscopy, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses. The interaction of the complex with calf thymus DNA（CT-DNA） was investigated by absorption, fluorescence spectroscopies, and viscosity measurement. The results suggested that the complex was bound to DNA via an intercalative mode. The intrinsic binding constant value Kb was found to be approximately 1.48×10^3 L·mol^-1. Moreover, the Ag（I） complex could cleave the plasmid pUC19 DNA from the supercoiled Form Ⅰto the nicked FormⅡ under irradiation at 365 nm.

A new inorganic-organic hybrid compound based on polyoxometalate and organic ligand formulated as （H2bpp）3[SiWliO39Co]-2H20（1）[bpp=l,3-bis（4-pyridyl）propane] was hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized by elemental analysis, single-crystal X-ray diffraction, IR, TG, and cyclic voltammetry. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis reveals that compound 1 consists of interesting cobalt-monosubstituted POMs one dimensional chain together with protonated bpp ligands. Additionally, the polyoxoanions combined with the discrete organic substrates by hydrogen bond interactions to afford a supramolecular 3D network structure. The hybrid compound 1 was used as a bulk modifier to fabricate a three-dimensional chemically modified carbon paste electrode（1-CPE） by direct mixing. The electrochemical behavior and electrocatalysis of 1-CPE were studied in detail. The results indicate that 1-CPE has good electrocatalytic activities toward the reduction of nitrite or bromate in 1 mol/L 1-12SO4 aqueous solution. 1-CPE shows remarkable stability that can be ascribed to the insolubility of compound 1 and the supramolecular interactions existed between 1D POM anion chains and organic ligand bpp, which is very important for practical applications in electrode modification.

More substances leaked from a higher-vigor seed sample than from a lower-vigor sample. This indicates that, in some cases, electric conductivity does not represent seed vigor level very well, especially for high-vigor seeds. Results from germination, germination index, leachate conductivity, and the ratio of K^＋/Na^＋ from three-seed lots of Chinese cabbage （Brassica pekinensis （Louv.） Rupr） showed that K^＋/Na^＋ correlated well with germination and germination index. The ability of K^＋/Na^＋ to indicate well changes in vigor was further supported by investigation in soybean （Glycine max （L.） Merr.） seeds and another cultivar of Chinese cabbage seeds. Thus, seed leakage of K^＋/Na^＋ can accurately indicate seed vigor, whereas the conductivity test failed to do so. Furthermore, K^＋/Na^＋ showed up bigger quantitative differences in vigor level than did the conductivity test. This findings provide a more sensitive and accurate index for the assessment of seed vigor. The mechanisms of Na^＋ and K^＋ ion transport are also discussed.

AIM： To investigate the transactivating effect of pre-S2 protein of hepatitis B virus （HBV） and construct a subtractive cDNA library of genes transactivated by pre-S2 protein with suppression subtractive hybridization （SSH） technique, and to pave the way for elucidating the pathogenesis of HBV infection. METHODS： pcDNA3.1（-）-pre-S2 containing pre-S2 region of HBV genome was constructed by routine molecular methods. HepG2 cells were cotransfected with pcDNA3.1 （-）-pre-S21pSV-lacZ and empty pcDNA3.1（-）/pSV-lacZ. After 48 h, cells were collected and detected for the expression of β-galactosidase （β-gal）. SSH and bioinformatics techniques were used, the mRNA of HepG2 cells transfected with pcDNA3.1（-）-pre-S2 and pcDNA3.1（-） empty vector was isolated, respectively, cDNA was synthesized. After digestion with restriction enzyme RsaI, cDNA fragments were obtained. Tester cDNA was then divided into two groups and ligated to the specific adaptor 1 and adaptor 2, respectively. After tester cDNA was hybridized with driver cDNA twice and underwent two times of nested PCR, amplified cDNA fragments were subcloned into pGEM-Teasy vectors to set up the subtractive library. Amplification of the library was carried out with *** strain DH5α The cDNA was sequenced and analyzed in GenBank with Blast search after PCR. RESULTS： The pre-S2 mRNA could be detected in HepG2 cells transfected with pcDNA3.1（-）-pre-S2 plasmid. The activity of β-gal in HepG2 cells transfected with pcDNA3.1 （-）-pre-S2/pSV-lacZ was 7.0 times higher than that of control plasmid （P〈0.01）. The subtractive library of genes transactivated by HBV pre-S2 protein was constructed successfully. The amplified library contains 96 positiveclones. Colony PCR showed that 86 clones contained 200-1 000 bp inserts. Perovskite solar cells(PSCs) have made great progress since 2009 and become the focus of current research. As an important part of PSCs, charge transporting materials play an important role in the performance of the devices. In this review, we introduce the evolution of electron and hole transporting materials in PSCs in recent years and summarize some typical charge transporting materials and their applications in PSCs. For electron transporting materials, metal oxides(TiO_(2), SnO_(2) and ZnO) and organic materials(fullerenes, non-fullerenes and their derivatives)are the most widely used materials in PSCs. For hole transporting materials, small molecule spiro-OMeTAD(2,2’,7,7’-Tetrakis[N,N-di(4-methoxyphenyl)amino]-9,9’-spirobifluorene), polymer PEDOT:PSS(poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene): polystyrene sulfonate), PTAA(poly-[bi(4-phenyl)](2,4,3-trimethylphenyla-mine)), P3 HT(poly(3-hexythiophene)) and inorganic materials(NiOx, CuSCN, CuO) are adopted in PSCs. Finally, different types of charge transporting materials are summarized and their future development is prospected.

Modeling Method for Flexible Energy Behaviors in CNC Machining Systems

CNC machining systems are inevitably confronted with frequent changes in energy behaviors because they are widely used to perform various machining tasks. It is a challenge to understand and analyze the flexible energy behaviors in CNC machining systems. A method to model flexible energy behaviors in CNC machining systems based on hierarchical objected-oriented Petri net(HOONet) is proposed. The structure of the HOONet is constructed of a high-level model and detail models. The former is used to model operational states for CNC machining systems, and the latter is used to analyze the component models for operational states. The machining parameters having great impacts on energy behaviors in CNC machining systems are declared with the data dictionary in HOONet models. A case study based on a CNC lathe is presented to demonstrate the proposed modeling method. The results show that it is effective for modeling flexible energy behaviors and providing a fine-grained description to quantitatively analyze the energy consumption of CNC machining systems.

Synergistic action of erosion-corrosion on L360N in different condensate oil-contained NaCl solutions

The experiments studying on the components of pure erosion, pure corrosion and their synergism were performed in multiphase systems containing sand particles, NaCl solution and condensate oil. The influence of condensate oil content on damage degree for each component was investigated by designing four different levels (0, 5, 10 and 20 vol.%). The mechanism about erosion-corrosion was analyzed by measurements of thinning rate, electrochemical experiments, scanning electron morphology and white light interferometer. The results showed that the presence of condensate oil enhanced mechanical damage of L360N pipeline steel because of the increase in viscosity. The erosion-corrosion and pure erosion were significantly accelerated with the increase in condensate oil content. However, the condensate oil content had basically no effect on pure corrosion, and the thinning rate for it was much lower than that for pure erosion. Therefore, the pure erosion component dominated the erosion-corrosion damage in such multiphase systems.
