High-temperature chromium(Cr)-zirconium(Zr)interdiffusion commonly occurs in Cr-coated zircaloys applied for enhanced accident-tolerant fuel(ATF)clad*** interdiffusion changes the interfacial microstructure and thus the fracture mechanism of the coating under external *** this study,the interdiffusion behavior in a magnetron sputtered Cr coating deposited on a Zr-4 alloy was studied in a vacuum environment at 1160*** addition,the effect of interdiffusion on the microcracking behavior of the Cr coating was determined by in situ three-point bending *** experimental results show that the interdiffusion behavior resulted in the formation of a ZrCr2 layer,accompanied by the consumption of Cr coating and interfacial *** growth of the diffusion layer followed a nearly parabolic law with respect to annealing time,and the residual stress of the annealed coating decreased with increasing annealing *** external loading,a large number of cracks were generated in the brittle interlayer,and some interfacial cracks were formed and grew at the ZrCr2/Zr-4 *** the remarkable microcracks in the ZrCr2 layer,the vacuum-annealed Cr coating has significantly fewer cracks than the original coating,mainly because of the recrystallization of the coating during annealing.

In this editorial,we discuss the recent article by Zhao et al published in the World Journal of Diabetes,which highlights the importance of recognizing the risk indicators associated with diabetes mellitus(DM).Given the severe implications of healthcare-associated infections(HAIs)in hospitalized individuals-such as heightened mortality rates,prolonged hospitalizations,and increased costs-we focus on elucidating the connection between DM and nosocomial *** patients are susceptible to pathogenic bacterial invasion and subsequent infection,with some already harboring co-infections upon ***,DM is an important risk factor for nosocomial urinary tract infections and surgical site infections,which may indirectly affect the occurrence of nosocomial bloodstream infections,especially in patients with DM with poor glycemic *** evidence regarding the impact of DM on healthcare-associated pneumonias remains inconclusive,attention to this potential association is *** patients with DM should prioritize meticulous blood glucose management,adherence to standard operating procedures,hand hygiene practices,environmental disinfection,and rational use of drugs during *** studies are imperative to explore the main risk factors of HAIs in patients with DM,enabling the development of preventative measures and mitigating the occurrence of HAIs in these patients.

p-i-n Al_(x)Ga_(1−x)As/GaAs detectors with graded compositions and graded doping were grown and *** the current-voltage and capacitance-voltage measurement results,the devices had good p-n junction diode characteristics,and the electric field strength under an unbiased voltage was 1.7×10^(5) Vcm^(-1).The full width at half maximum and charge collection efficiency of the detectors obtained from energy spectrum measurements of 5.48-MeV alpha particles were 3.04 and approximately 93%,*** this study,we created the most advanced and promising state-of-the-art unbiased detector reported to date.

Self-assembled architectures of soft matter have fascinated scientists for centuries due to their unique physical properties originated from controllable orientational and/or positional orders,and diverse optic and photonic *** one could know how to design,fabricate,and manipulate these optical microstructures in soft matter systems,such as liquid crystals(LCs),that would open new opportunities in both scientific research and practical applications,such as the interaction between light and soft matter,the intrinsic assembly of the topological patterns,and the multidimensional control of the light(polarization,phase,spatial distribution,propagation direction).Here,we summarize recent progresses in self-assembled optical architectures in typical thermotropic LCs and bio-based lyotropic *** briefly introducing the basic definitions and properties of the materials,we present the manipulation schemes of various LC microstructures,especially the topological and topographic *** work further illustrates external-stimuli-enabled dynamic controllability of self-assembled optical structures of these soft materials,and demonstrates several emerging ***,we discuss the challenges and opportunities of these materials towards soft matter photonics,and envision future perspectives in this field.

OBJECTIVE: To systematically evaluate the curative clinical efficacy and safety of sinomenine(SIN) in treatment of rheumatoid arthritis(RA) in comparison to methotrexate(MTX).METHODS: We searched the China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database, Chinese Biomedical Literature Database, China Science and Technology Journal Database, Wanfang Database, Pubmed and Cochrane Library electronically up to August 31,2015, without language limitation. Only randomized controlled trials(RCTs) were included. Software Review Manager 5.3 was used for ***: A total of 16 eligible studies within 1500RA patients were included. The meta-analysis indicated that on basis of MTX, SIN was more effective in total effective rate(P luTION: Compared to MTX, SIN had better clinical efficacy and relatively fewer adverse events in treatment of RA, especially when it was used together with MTX. Due to the poor methodological quality, well-designed, multiple-center RCTs are still required to further confirm the findings.

The Qilian Mountain permafrost area located in the northern of qinghai-Tibet Plateau is a favorable place for natural gas hydrate formation and enrichment,due to its well-developed fractures and abundant gas *** the formation and distribution of multi-component gas hydrates in fractures is crucial in accurately evaluating the hydrate reservoir resources in this *** hydrate formation experiments were carried out using the core samples drilled from hydrate-bearing sediments in Qilian Mountain permafrost area and the multi-component gas with similar composition to natural gas hydrates in Qilian Mountain permafrost *** formation and distribution characteristics of multi-component gas hydrates in core samples were observed in situ by X-ray Computed Tomography(X-CT)under high pressure and low temperature *** show that hydrates are mainly formed and distributed in the fractures with good *** ratios of volume of hydrates formed in fractures to the volume of fractures are about 96.8%and 60.67%in two different core *** indicates that the fracture surface may act as a favorable reaction site for hydrate formation in core *** on the field geological data and the experimental results,it is preliminarily estimated that the inventory of methane stored in the fractured gas hydrate in Qilian Mountain permafrost area is about 8.67×1013 m3,with a resource abundance of 8.67×108 m3/*** study demonstrates the great resource potential of fractured gas hydrate and also provides a new way to further understand the prospect of natural gas hydrate and other oil and gas resources in Qilian Mountain permafrost area.
