Background The aim of this study was to review current delivery room(DR)resuscitation intensity in Chinese tertiary neonatal intensive care units and to investigate the association between DR resuscitation intensity and short-term outcomes in preterm infants born at 24+0_31+6 weeks gestation age(GA).Methods This was a retrospective cross-sectional *** source population was infants born at 24+0_31+6 weeks'GA who were enrolled in the Chinese Neonatal Network 2019 *** infants were categorized into five groups:(1)regular care;(2)oxygen supplementation and/or continuous positive airway pressure(O2/CPAP);(3)mask ventilation;(4)endotracheal intubation;and(5)cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR).The association between DR resuscitation and shortterm outcomes was evaluated by inverse propensity score-weighted logistic *** Of 7939 infants included in this cohort,2419(30.5%)received regular care,1994(25.1%)received O,/CPAP,1436(18.1%)received mask ventilation,1769(22.3%)received endotracheal intubation,and 321(4.0%)received CPR in the *** maternal age and maternal hypertension correlated with a higher need for resuscitation,and antenatal steroid use tended to be associated with a lower need for resuscitation(Psignificantly with increasing amounts of resuscitation in DR after adjusting for perinatal *** strategies vary widely between centers,with over 50%of preterm infants in eight centers requiring higher intensity *** Increased intensity of DR interventions was associated with increased mortality and morbidities in very preterm infants in *** is wide variation in resuscitative approaches across delivery centers,and ongoing quality improvement to standardize resuscitation practices is needed.

Intestinal failure-associated liver disease(IFALD)is a common complication of long-term parenteral nutrition that is associated with significant morbidity and *** is mainly characterized by cholestasis in children and steatohepatitis in ***,there is no effective approach to prevent or reverse the *** cell death(RCD)represents a fundamental biological paradigm that determines the outcome of a variety of liver *** cell death is reclassified into several types,based on the mechanisms and morphological *** evidence has linked different modes of RCD,such as apoptosis,necroptosis,ferroptosis,and pyroptosis to the pathogenesis of liver *** studies have shown that different modes of RCD are present in animal models and patients with *** the pathogenic roles of cell death may help uncover the underlying mechanisms and develop novel therapeutic strategies in *** this review,we discuss the current knowledge on how RCD may link to the pathogenesis of *** highlight examples of cell death-targeted interventions aiming to attenuate the disease,and provide perspectives for future basic and translational research in the field.

MiR-142-3p Regulates ILC1s by Targeting HMGB1 via the NF-κB Pathway in a Mouse Model of Early Pregnancy Loss

Black phosphorus (BP) is a new class of two-dimensional (2D) layered material, which shows the unanticipated characteristics in many aspects including electronics, transistors, sensors, energy storage, batteries, photocatalysis, and other applications due to its high charge carrier mobility, tunable direct bandgap, and unique in-plane anisotropic structure. In addition, BP has drawn tremendous attention in the field of tribology due to the low shear strength, the layered structure, and the weak connected force between the layers by van der Waals interaction. In recent years, many significant progresses have been made in experimental studies on BP materials as solid lubricants or lubrication additives. This work offers a review of researching regarding the tribological properties of BP. Moreover, the lubrication mechanisms of BP as the lubrication additive including the formation of the tribo-film, micro-bearing effect, and self-repair performance are also summarized. Finally, the current challenges and prospects of BP material as lubricant are proposed.

Hypertension significantly increases the risk of cardiovascular diseases and seriously affects people’s *** incidence of hypertension is rising rapidly in the world and hypertension has become a significant factor influencing the global average life *** diagnosis of hypertension is generally fulfilled by measuring diastolic and systolic blood pressure,but it is insufficient to differentiate essential hypertension from secondary hypertension,so it is crucial to identifying the cause of hypertension by detecting biomarkers in *** clinical practice,five plasma biomarkers are utilized for diagnosing hypertension,and the detection tasks of a large number of cases have raised increasing demands for cost-effective,efficient,speedy,and diverse methods,which makes many traditional diagnostic technologies inadequate for meeting the needs of clinical *** nanomaterial-based detection techniques have frequently attained the qualities of quick reaction,low cost,straightforward operation,high sensitivity,and strong specificity in recent years with the advancement of nanotechnology,so they have great potential for early and rapid *** this review,we will introduce the characteristics and drawbacks of current clinical detection methods for hypertension screening,the principles and advancements of nanotechnology-based detection methods,as well as their potentials for clinical application.

Fermi Blazars in the Zwicky Transient Facility Survey:Properties of Large Optical Variations

We analyze the optical light curve data,obtained with the Zwicky Transient Facility(ZTF)survey,for 47 γ-ray blazars monitored by the Large Area Telescope onboard the Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope(Fermi).These 47sources are selected because they are among the Fermi blazars with the largest optical variations in the ZTF *** color-magnitude variation patterns are seen in them,with one being redder-to-stable-when-brighter(RSWB;in 31 sources)and the other being stable when brighter(in 16 sources).The patterns fit with the results recently reported in several similar studies with different ***,we find that the colors in the stable state of the sources share similar values,for which(after being corrected for the Galactic extinction)most sources are in a range of 0.4–*** feature could be intrinsic and may be applied in,for example,study of the intragalactic *** also determine the turning points for the sources showing the RSWB pattern,after which the color changes saturate and become *** find a correlation between optical fluxes and γ-ray fluxes at the turning *** physical implications of the correlation remain to be investigated,probably better with a sample of high-qualityγ-ray flux measurements.
