There is a lack of understanding about the bacterial,fungal and archaeal communities’composition of solid-phase denitrification(SPD)*** investigated four SPD systems with different carbon sources by analyzing microbial gene sequences based on operational taxonomic unit(OTU)and amplicon sequence variant(ASV).The results showed that the corncob-polyvinyl alcohol sodium alginate-polycaprolactone(CPSP,0.86±0.04 mg NO_(3)^(−)-N/(g·day))and corncob(0.85±0.06 mg NO_(3)^(−)-N/(g·day))had better denitrification efficiency than polycaprolactone(PCL,0.2.±0.11 mg NO_(3)^(−)-N/(g·day))and polyvinyl alcoholsodium alginate(PVA-SA,0.2.±0.07 mg NO_(3)^(−)-N/(g·day)).The bacterial,fungal and archaeal microbial composition was significantly different among carbon source types such as Proteobacteria in PCL(OTU:83.72.,ASV:82.49%)and Rozellomycota in PVA-SA(OTU:71.99%,ASV:81.30%).ASV methods can read more microbial units than that of OTU and exhibit higher alpha diversity and classify some species that had not been identified by OTU such as Nanoarchaeota phylum,unclassified_f_Xanthobacteraceae genus,etc.,indicating ASV may be more conducive to understand SPD microbial *** co-occurring network showed some correlation between the bacteria fungi and archaea species,indicating different species may collaborate in SPD *** KEGG function prediction results were obtained in two bioinformatic methods generally and some fungi and archaea functions should not be ignored in SPD *** results may be beneficial for understanding microbial communities in SPD systems.

The use of a priori knowledge in remote sensing inversion has great implications for ensuring the stability of inversion process and reducing uncertainties in retrieved results, especially under the condition of insufficient observations. Common optimization algorithms have difficulties in providing posterior distribution and thus cannot directly acquire uncertainties in inversion results, which is of no benefit to remote sensing application. In this article, ensemble Kalman filter (EnKF) has been introduced to retrieve surface geophysical parameters from remote sensing observations, which has the capability of not merely obtaining inversion results but also giving its posterior distribution. To show the advantage of EnKF, it is compared to standard MODIS AMBRALS algorithm and highly effi-cient global optimization method SCE-UA. The inversion abilities of kernel-driven BRDF models with different kernel combinations at several main cover types are emphatically discussed when observa-tions are deficient and a priori knowledge is introduced into inversion.

Realtime trigger and localization of bursts are the key functions of GECAM,an all-sky gamma-ray monitor launched on 2.2. December *** developed a multifunctional trigger and localization software operating in the CPU of the GECAM Electronic *** onboard software has the following features:high trigger efficiency for real celestial bursts with a suppression of false triggers caused by charged particle bursts and background fluctuation,dedicated localization algorithm optimized for both short and long bursts,and low time latency of the trigger information which is downlinked through the Global Short Message Communication service of the global BeiDou navigation *** paper provides a detailed description of the design and development of the trigger and localization software system for *** covers the general design,workflow,the main functions,and the algorithms used in the *** paper also includes on-ground trigger tests using simulated gamma-ray bursts generated by a dedicated X-ray tube,as well as an overview of the performance for real celestial bursts during its in-orbit operation.

DEAD-box helicase 17(DDX17)is a typical member of the DEAD-box family with transcriptional cofactor *** DDX17 is abundantly expressed in the myocardium,its role in heart is not fully *** generated cardiomyocyte-specific Ddx17-knockout mice(Ddx17-cKO),cardiomyocyte-specific Ddx17 transgenic mice(Ddx17-Tg),and various models of cardiomyocyte injury and heart failure(HF).DDX17 is downregulated in the myocardium of mouse models of heart failure and cardiomyocyte ***-specific knockout of Ddx17 promotes autophagic flux blockage and cardiomyocyte apoptosis,leading to progressive cardiac dysfunction,maladaptive remodeling and progression to heart *** of DDX17 expression in cardiomyocytes protects cardiac function under pathological *** studies showed that DDX17 can bind to the transcriptional repressor B-cell lymphoma 6(BCL6)and inhibit the expression of dynamin-related protein 1(DRP1).When DDX17 expression is reduced,transcriptional repression of BCL6 is attenuated,leading to increased DRP1 expression and mitochondrial fission,which in turn leads to impaired mitochondrial homeostasis and heart *** also investigated the correlation of DDX17 expression with cardiac function and DRP1 expression in myocardial biopsy samples from patients with heart *** findings suggest that DDX17 protects cardiac function by promoting mitochondrial homeostasis through the BCL6-DRP1 pathway in heart failure.

Fast and reliable localization of high-energy transients is crucial for characterizing the burst properties and guiding the follow-up *** based on the relative counts of different detectors has been widely used for all-sky gamma-ray *** are two major methods for this count distribution localization:χ^(2.minimization method and the Bayesian *** we propose a modified Bayesian method that could take advantage of both the accuracy of the Bayesian method and the simplicity of the χ^(2.*** comprehensive simulations,we find that our Bayesian method with Poisson likelihood is generally more applicable for various bursts than the χ^(2.method,especially for weak *** further proposed a location-spectrum iteration approach based on the Bayesian inference,which could alleviate the problems caused by the spectral difference between the burst and location *** method is very suitable for scenarios with limited computation resources or timesensitive applications,such as in-flight localization software,and low-latency localization for rapidly follow-up observations.
