AIM:To assess the possibility of using different large language models(LLMs)in ocular surface diseases by selecting five different LLMS to test their accuracy in answering specialized questions related to ocular surface diseases:ChatGPT-4,ChatGPT-3.5,Claude 2,PaLM2,and ***:A group of experienced ophthalmology professors were asked to develop a 100-question singlechoice question on ocular surface diseases designed to assess the performance of LLMs and human participants in answering ophthalmology specialty exam *** exam includes questions on the following topics:keratitis disease(20 questions),keratoconus,keratomalaciac,corneal dystrophy,corneal degeneration,erosive corneal ulcers,and corneal lesions associated with systemic diseases(20 questions),conjunctivitis disease(20 questions),trachoma,pterygoid and conjunctival tumor diseases(20 questions),and dry eye disease(20 questions).Then the total score of each LLMs and compared their mean score,mean correlation,variance,and confidence were ***:GPT-4 exhibited the highest performance in terms of *** the average scores of the LLMs group with the four human groups,chief physician,attending physician,regular trainee,and graduate student,it was found that except for ChatGPT-4,the total score of the rest of the LLMs is lower than that of the graduate student group,which had the lowest score in the human *** ChatGPT-4 and PaLM2 were more likely to give exact and correct answers,giving very little chance of an incorrect ***-4 showed higher credibility when answering questions,with a success rate of 59%,but gave the wrong answer to the question 28% of the ***:GPT-4 model exhibits excellent performance in both answer relevance and ***2 shows a positive correlation(up to 0.8)in terms of answer accuracy during the *** terms of answer confidence,PaLM2 is second only to GPT4 and surpasses Claude 2,SenseNova,and *** the fact t

Background:Computed tomography(CT)plays a great role in characterizing and quantifying changes in lung structure and function of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).This study aimed to explore the performance of CT-based whole lung radiomic in discriminating COPD patients and non-COPD ***:This retrospective study was performed on 2785 patients who underwent pulmonary function examination in 5 hospitals and were divided into non-COPD group and COPD *** radiomic features of the whole lung volume were *** absolute shrinkage and selection operator(LASSO)logistic regression was applied for feature selection and radiomic signature construction.A radiomic nomogram was established by combining the radiomic score and clinical *** operating characteristic(ROC)curve analysis and decision curve analysis(DCA)were used to evaluate the predictive performance of the radiomic nomogram in the training,internal validation,and independent external validation ***:Eighteen radiomic features were collected from the whole lung volume to construct a radiomic *** area under the curve(AUC)of the radiomic model in the training,internal,and independent external validation cohorts were 0.888[95%confidence interval(CI)0.869–0.906],0.874(95%CI 0.844–0.904),and 0.846(95%CI 0.822–0.870),*** were higher than the clinical model(AUC were 0.732,0.714,and 0.777,respectively,P<0.001).DCA demonstrated that the nomogram constructed by combining radiomic score,age,sex,height,and smoking status was superior to the clinical factor ***:The intuitive nomogram constructed by CT-based whole-lung radiomic has shown good performance and high accuracy in identifying COPD in this multicenter study.

OBJECTIVE: To explore the mechanism of Tangfukang formula(糖复康方, TFK) in treating type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM). METHODS: We employed network pharmacology combined with experimental validation to explore the potential mechanism of TFK against T2DM. Initially, we filtered bioactive compounds with the Traditional Chinese Medicine Systems Pharmacology Database and Analysis Platform(TCMSP) and Symptom Mapping(Sym Map), and gathered targets of TFK and T2DM. Subsequently, we constructed a protein-protein interaction(PPI) network, enriched core targets through Gene Ontology(GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG), and adopted molecular docking to study the binding mode of compounds and the signaling pathway. Finally, we employed a KKAy mice model to investigate the effect and mechanism of TFK against T2DM. Biochemical assay, histology assay, and Western blot(WB) were used to assess the mechanism. RESULTS: There were 492 bioactive compounds of TFK screened, and 1226 overlapping targets of TFK against T2DM identified. A compound-T2DM-related target network with 997 nodes and 4439 edges was constructed. KEGG enrichment analysis identified some core pathways related to T2DM, including adenosine 5-monophosphate-activated protein kinase(AMPK) signaling pathway. Molecular docking study revealed that compounds of TFK, including citric acid, could bind to the active pocket of AMPK crystal structure with free binding energy of -4.8,-8 and -7.9, respectively. Animal experiments indicated that TFK decreased body weight, fasting blood glucose, fasting serum insulin, homeostasis model of insulin resistance, glycosylated serum protein, total cholesterol, triglyceride, and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, and improve oral glucose tolerance test results. TFK reduced steatosis in liver tissue, and infiltration of inflammatory cells, and protected liver cells to a certain extent. 为改善空心钢筋混凝土柱(HRC)的使用与受力性能,提出一种双壁波纹钢管混凝土(CFDCST)构件。本文共进行了4个大尺寸双壁波纹钢管混凝土短柱与2个空心钢筋混凝土短柱的轴压试验,关键试验参数为试件类型与波纹钢管类型。分析构件的破坏模式,对比不同参数下构件的承载力、峰值应变、延性系数等关键力学指标,获得荷载-波纹钢管应变关系曲线以揭示试件的约束机理并验证外波纹钢管类型的影响。试验结果表明:外波纹钢管可为夹层混凝土提供约束作用,且螺旋角越小,外波纹钢管的约束作用越强;内波纹钢管则主要为夹层混凝土内壁提供有效支撑,以保持截面的完整性。名义约束效应系数与空心率相近时,由于咬口滑移影响,大螺旋角双壁波纹钢管混凝土比小螺旋角双壁波纹钢管混凝土的峰值应力、峰值应变与延性系数分别降低15.5%、21.8%与16.7%。在总用钢量相近的情况下,小螺旋角双壁波纹钢管混凝土柱的承载力、峰值应变与延性系数分别比空心钢筋混凝土柱提高10.6%、36.2%与50.0%。基于试验结果,检验了3种典型承载力公式的适用性,并提出了相应设计建议。

Effects of solution and aging treatment on the microstructure and mechanical properties of a novel Al-Zn-Mg-Cu alloy by microalloying rare elements Sc and Er were studied. The results show that solution time has a visible influence on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the alloy. Specifically, as the solution time increases, the area fraction of the residual phase in the alloy decreases, and the shape of the grain becomes more spheroidal and coarser, leading to a decrease in hardness. This is attributed to the dissolution of strengthening phases during the solution treatment, which weakens the solid solution strengthening *** single-stage aging treatment shows an initial increase in strength and hardness of the alloy, followed by a decrease as the aging time is extended, until a steady state is achieved. The optimal single-aging conditions are found to be at 120 ℃ for 24 h, where the alloy exhibits an excellent combination of high strength and good ductility, with an ultimate tensile strength(UTS) of 523 MPa, yield strength(YS) of 482 MPa, and elongation(El)of 1.75%, respectively. Compared to single-stage aging, double-stage aging(120 ℃ for 24 h and then 150 ℃ for 52 h) significantly increases the elongation of the alloy(4.17%), but the UTS reduces to 465.29 MPa, and YS reduces to 410.64 MPa. Transmission electron microscopy(TEM) observations disclose that the grain size, the distribution spacing of precipitates along the grain boundary, and the width of the precipitation-free zone(PFZ) all undergo augmentation as the duration of the second stage aging process elongates.

The stacking structure of Nb2CSe2, a newly synthesized layered metal carbo-selenide, was elucidated by scanning transmission electron microscopy. Nb2CSe2 features Se-Nb-C-Nb-Se quintuple atomic layers. These layers are stacked in Bernal mode. In this mode, Nb2CSe2 crystallizes in a trigonal symmetry (space group P 3 m 1, No. 164), with lattice parameters of a = 3.33 & Aring;and c = 18.20 & Aring;. Electronic structure calculations indicate that the metal carbo-selenide has Fermi energy crossing the bands where it touches to give a zero gap, indicating that it is an electronic conductor. As evidenced experimentally, the electrical conductivity is as high as 6.6x105 Sm-1, outperforming the counterparts in the MXene family. Owing to the layered structure, the bonding in Nb2CSe2 with an ionic formula of (Nb 1.48+ ) 2 (C 1.74- )(Se 0.61- ) 2 is highly anisotropic, with metallic-covalent-ionic bonding in intralayers and weak bonding between interlayers. The layered nature is further evidenced by elastic properties, interlayer energy, and friction coefficient determination. These characteristics indicate that Nb2CSe2 is an analog of molybdenum disulfide (MoS2), which is a typical binary van der Waals (vdW) solid. Moreover, vibrational properties are reported, which may offer an optical identification standard for new ternary vdW solids in spectroscopic studies, including Raman scattering and infrared absorption.

South to North Water Transfer Project in China is the largest project over centuries to solve the water shortage problem in vast areas of northern China. It comprises of three routes： the eastern, central and western route and this study mainly focused on the eastern route. As water quality is the key factor for the eastern route, this paper examined the main factors influencing water quality of the main route south of the Yellow River, by investigating the point source, non-point source （diffusive source） and internal source pollutions along the main eastern route and in its drainage basins, and assessing the Current water quality in the waterways. According to the complicated and combined systems of rivers and lakes in this route, one-dimensional water quantity and quality model for rivers and two-dimensional model for lakes were developed to simulate the hydrodynamic and pollutant transport processes. The numerical method and model algorithm were described. The values of model parameters were estimated by using field-monitoring data along the main route and the inverse modeling technique. Established models were employed to predict the degradations of CODMn and NH4^＋-N in the main stream, under the conditions of current pollution loads and different hydrologic conditions. Schemes were present for controlling total quantities of pollutants from point source and non-point source along the main route to secure water quality for the eastern route.

抗生素的滥用使得大量抗生素进入污水处理厂中,但乡镇污水处理厂中抗生素的污染尚未引起重视.为了解乡镇污水处理厂中抗生素的污染水平及去除特性,考察了15座乡镇污水处理厂进出水中15种抗生素的污染水平和去除效率,并评估了其对水生生物和人体健康构成的风险.结果表明,进出水中四环素类抗生素(TCs)检出浓度最高,四环素(TC)和土霉素(OTC)最高检出浓度可达(4 943.69±4.31)ng·L^(-1)和(3 907.81±52.04)ng·L^(-1).在乡镇污水处理厂中,A/O和A^(2)/O工艺对抗生素的去除能力强于MBR工艺.生态风险评估表明,TCs和喹诺酮类抗生素(FQs)具有较大的风险商值,会对水生生物造成中高风险;而磺胺类抗生素(SAs)对水生生物造成低风险.虽然抗生素会对水生生物造成风险,但对人体健康的风险可忽略不计.研究结果可为今后乡镇污水处理厂工艺的升级改造和地区抗生素排放标准的制定提供支撑.
