Image modulation represents image by meaningful characters such as image instantaneous amp{1.tude and instantaneous frequency. A perfect reconstruction image modulation method is proposed. In detail, the bidimensional empirical mode decomposition (BEMD) is first improved to adaptively decompose image into monocomponents. Then by the quaternionic analytic method, suitable analytic signals is acquired. A new polar form is further proposed to modulate images, then seven characters are derived including instantaneous amp{1.tude and instantaneous frequencies. We demonstrate the techniques on both synthetic and natural images, depict the needle program of the estimated frequencies and obtain the reconstructions that are the same with the original images. The app{1.cations in image segmentation and separation estab{1.sh the va{1.dity of characterizing images of this type as sums of locally narrow band modulated components.

lipoteichoic acids(LTAs)are macroamphiphiles composed of alditol,lipid,phosphate,and carbohydrate *** to their inherent complexity,it is a severe challenge to access LTAs with structural integrity from natural sources for biological or immunological ***,we describe the first total synthesis of Lactococcus garvieae LTA(type II LTA),containing five distinct 1.2-cis gluco/galactopyranosidic linkages,via a novel additive-modulated O-glycosyl trichloroacetimidate preactivation glycosidation *** strategy features(1.high glycosidation yields and excellent 1.2-cis stereoselectivities independent of the donor anomeric configuration,(2)common and inexpensive reagents as promoters and additives,(3)application to standard glycosyl imidate donors without resorting to participating protection,and(4)general application to reactive and less reactive glycosyl ***,via the precise stereocontrolled construction of three galactopyranosidic and two glucopyranosidic bonds on a multigram scale,a series of structurally well-defined LTA molecules were successfully *** evaluation of these type II synthetic LTAs showed a structure–activity relationship in the stimulation of a proinflammatory response.

Sweet potato(Ipomoea batatas[L.]Lam.)is a crucial staple and bioenergy *** abiotic stress tolerance holds significant importance in fully utilizing marginal *** processes regulate abiotic stress responses,yet the molecular regulatory mechanisms in sweet potato remain *** this study,a NAC(NAM,ATAF1.2,and CUC2)transcription factor,IbNAC087,was identified,which is commonly upregulated in salt-and drought-tolerant *** of IbNAC087 increased salt and drought tolerance by increasing jasmonic acid(JA)accumulation and activating reactive oxygen species(ROS)scavenging,whereas silencing this gene resulted in opposite ***-rich IbNAC087-OE(overexpression)plants exhibited more stomatal closure than wild-type(WT)and IbNAC087-Ri plants under NaCl,polyethylene glycol,and methyl jasmonate ***087 functions as a nuclear transcriptional activator and directly activates the expression of the key JA biosynthesisrelated genes lipoxygenase(IbLOX)and allene oxide synthase(IbAOS).Moreover,IbNAC087 physically interacted with a RING-type E3 ubiquitin ligase NAC087-INTERACTING E3 liGASE(IbNIEL),negatively regulating salt and drought tolerance in sweet *** ubiquitinated IbNAC087 to promote 26S proteasome degradation,which weakened its activation on IbLOX and *** findings provide insights into the mechanism underlying the IbNIEL-IbNAC087 module regulation of JA-dependent salt and drought response in sweet potato and provide candidate genes for improving abiotic stress tolerance in crops.

Neutron resonance imaging(NRI)has recently emerged as an appealing technique for neutron *** complexity surpasses that of conventional transmission imaging,as it requires a high demand for both a neutron source and ***,the progression of NRI technology has been sluggish since its inception in the 1.80s,particularly considering the limited studies analyzing the neutron energy range above *** white neutron source(Back-n)at the china Spallation Neutron Source(CSNS)provides favorable beam conditions for the development of the NRI technique over a wide neutron energy range from eV to ***-sensitive microchannel plates(MCP)have emerged as a cutting-edge tool in the field of neutron detection owing to their high temporal and spatial resolutions,high detection efficiency,and low *** this study,we report the development of a 1.B-doped MCP detector,along with its associated electronics,data processing system,and NRI experiments at the *** heavy elements such as gold,silver,tungsten,and indium can be easily identified in the transmission images by their characteristic resonance peaks in the 1.100 eV energy range;the more difficult medium-weight elements such as iron,copper,and aluminum with resonance peaks in the 1.100 keV energy range can also be *** particular,results in the neutron energy range of dozens of keV(Aluminum)are reported here for the first time.

The Moon provides a unique environment for investigating nearby astrophysical events such as *** samples retain valuable information from these events,via detectable long-lived“fingerprint”radionuclides such as^(60)*** this work,we stepped up the development of an accelerator mass spectrometry(AMS)method for detecting^(60)Fe using the HI-1.tandem accelerator at the china Institute of Atomic Energy(CIAE).Since interferences could not be sufficiently removed solely with the existing magnetic systems of the tandem accelerator and the following Q3D magnetic spectrograph,a Wien filter with a maximum voltage of±60 kV and a maximum magnetic field of 0.3 T was installed after the accelerator magnetic systems to lower the detection background for the low abundance nuclide^(60)Fe.A 1.m thick Si_(3)N_(4) foil was installed in front of the Q3D as an energy *** particle detection,a multi-anode gas ionization chamber was mounted at the center of the focal plane of the ***,an^(60)Fe sample with an abundance of 1.125×1.^(-1.)was used to test the new AMS *** results indicate that^(60)Fe can be clearly distinguished from the isobar^(60)*** sensitivity was assessed to be better than 4.3×1.^(-1.)based on blank sample measurements lasting 5.8 h,and the sensitivity could,in principle,be expected to be approximately 2.5×1.^(-1.)when the data were accumulated for 1.0 h,which is feasible for future lunar sample measurements because the main contaminants were sufficiently separated.

Neutron-sensitive microchannel plates(nMCPs)have applications in neutron detection,including energy spectrum measurements,neutron-induced cross sections,and neutron imaging.1.B-doped MCPs(B-MCPs)have attracted significant attention owing to their potential for exhibiting a high neutron detection efficiency over a large neutron energy *** spatial and temporal resolutions are useful for neutron energy-resolved ***,their practical applications still face many technical *** this study,a B-MCP with 1. mol%1.B was tested for its response to wide-energy neutrons from eV to MeV at the Back-n white neutron source at the china Spallation Neutron *** neutron detection efficiency was calibrated at 1.eV,which is approximately 300 times that of an ordinary MCP and indicates the success of 1. B *** factors that caused the reduction in the detection efficiency were simulated and *** neutron energy spectrum obtained using B-MCP was compared with that obtained by other measurement methods,and showed very good consistency for neutron energies below tens of *** response is more complicated at higher neutron energy,at which point the elastic and nonelastic reactions of all nuclides of B-MCP gradually become *** is beneficial for the detection of neutrons,as it compensates for the detection efficiency of B-MCP for high-energy neutrons.

The proton-proton(pp)fusion chain dominates the neutrino production in the *** uncertainty of the predicted pp neutrino flux is at the sub-percent level,whereas that of the best measurement is O(1.%).In this study,for the first time,we measure solar pp neutrinos in the electron recoil energy range from 24 to 1.4 keV using the PandaX-4T commissioning data with 0.63 tonne×year *** pp neutrino flux is determined as(8.0±3.9(stat)±1..0(syst))×{1.0 s^(-1.cm^(-2),which is consistent with the Standard Solar Model and existing measurements,corresponding to an upper flux limit of 23.3×1.^(1.)s^(-1.cm^(-2)at 90%C.L..

We operated a p-type point contact high purity germanium(PPCGe)detector(CDEX-1.,1.008 kg)in the china Jinping Underground Laboratory(CJPL)for 500.3 days to search for neutrinoless double beta(0νββ)decay of^(76)Ge.A total of 504.3 kg⋅day effective exposure data was *** anti-coincidence and the multi/single-site event(MSE/SSE)discrimination methods were used to suppress the background in the energy region of interest(ROI,1.89–2089 keV for this work)with a factor of 23.A background level of 0.33 counts/(keV⋅kg⋅yr)was *** lower {1.mit on the half {1.fe of^(76)Ge 0νββdecay was constrained as T_(1.2)^(0ν)>1.0×1.^(23)yr(90%C.L.),corresponding to the upper {1.mits on the effective Majorana neutrino mass:<3.2–7.5 eV.

Objective To investigate the protective effects and mechanism of Chinese herbal compound Tongxinluo Capsule(通心络胶囊,TXL)on the Parkin-mediated mitophagy and the ubiquitin-proteasome system in a rat model of myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury(MIRI).Methods Seventy adult male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into 7 groups:sham group,MIRI group,low-and high-dose TXL(0.5 and 1.g·kg^(-1.·d^(-1.,respectively)groups,atorvastatin(ATV)group(7.2 g·kg^(-1.·d^(-1.),chloroquine(CQ)group(1. g·kg^(-1.·d^(-1.),and highdose TXL+CQ *** pharmacological administration for 7 days,rats underwent left anterior descending artery ligation surgery to establish the MIRI models with 50 min ischemia followed by 4 h *** was taken for cardiac troponin I(cTnI)detection and hearts were harvested for infarct staining and apoptosis *** autophagy or mitophagy proteins and ubiquitinated proteins were detected by Western *** Compared with the sham group,the MIRI group exhibited a larger infarcted area(27.1.%±0.01.,P1.,a higher apoptotic index(34.33%±2.03%vs.1.81.±0.03%,P1.,and higher cTnI expression(1..1.±1.01.vs.7.96±0.32,P1..The mitochondrial integrity was damaged in the MIRI group,while TXL and ATV alleviated the damage of *** autophagosomes were observed in the high-dose TXL group than in the MIRI group(7.00±0.58 vs.4.33±1.15,P1.PINK1.and Parkin translocated onto the mitochondria were detected in the high-dose TXL group than in the MIRI group(Plished the activation of autophagy flux and the PINK1.Parkin pathway induced by high-dose of *** TXL ameliorates MIRI via activating Parkin-mediated mitophagy in *** downregulation of the ubiquitin-proteasome system is also involved.
