Flexible bifunctional electrocatalyst (Ni@(Ni,Fe)Se_(2)/Ni@CC) by adjusting d-band center for high-efficiency HER and overall water splitting

Nickel foam is widely used as a collector for electrocatalysts because of its excellent electrical conductivity;however,it is prone to react with elements such as oxygen,sulfur,and phosphorus during the growth of electrode materials,which makes it brittle and fragile,thus limiting its large-scale *** this study,bifunctional electrocatalysts with flexible multilevel Ni-based nanoclusters Ni@(Ni,Fe)Se_(2)/Ni@CC were synthesized on carbon cloth(CC)by hydrothermal and electrodeposition methods;these flexible electrocatalysts are convenient for subsequent industrial *** a current density of 10 mA cm^(−2),the overpotentials of the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)and oxygen evolution reaction(OER)reached 98 and 224 mV,respectively,exceeding the catalytic effects of most metal-based *** overall water-splitting potential of the catalyst was only 1.56 V at 10 mA cm^(−2),and the performance was maintained after a 24 h stability ***@(Ni,Fe)Se_(2)/Ni@CC significantly improved the activity in alkaline environments by modulating the center of the d-band,thereby increasing the adsorption capacity of the catalyst for H *** this study,we improved the intrinsic activity and charge transfer of transition metal electrocatalysts by modifying the carbon cloth and constructing multilevel Ni-based nanoclusters,which provided some insights into the rational design of flexible bifunctional electrocatalysts.

Interface Design Strategy for GNS/AZ91 Composites with Semi-Coherent Structure

With the further requirements of electronic products and powered vehicles,the development of a new generation with low-voltage and high-capacity anode materials is crucial for lithium-ion batteries(LIBs).Transition metal phosphides,especially cobalt phosphide(CoP)composites,have become a research hotspot for LIBs anode materials in recent years due to their high theoretical specific capacity,low polarization,and suitable voltage *** review first systematically discusses the lithium storage mechanism and preparation methods of CoP in current ***,the applications of CoP anode materials in LIBs are categorically reviewed,including the composites of CoP with various types of carbon materials and ***,the challenges and future development directions of CoP anode materials are summarized to provide guidance for further improving the lithium storage performance of CoP and its practical applications.

数控机床用直线电动机在工作过程中,推力波动、负载扰动和非线性摩擦等各种扰动因素降低了直线伺服的性能。为抑制扰动满足数控机床直线伺服系统速度跟踪性能的要求,在分析永磁直线同步电动机数学模型和各种扰动因素的基础上,引入具有动态递归特性的Elman神经网络,设计出具有前馈及反馈综合补偿效果的复合控制器,不仅可以对各种扰动进行反馈补偿,而且对速度给定信号进行预测前馈补偿控制,提高了直线伺服系统的跟踪精度和响应速度,仿真结果验证了Elman神经网络的动态性能及综合补偿的优点,表明了复合控制方案的有效性和可行性。

Tracing monoclinic distortion in NCM532 cathode materials by in situ high-energy synchrotron X-ray diffraction

Layered LiNixCoyMnzO2（NCM） cathode materials have emerged as the best choice for high-energy-density lithium-ion batteries for powering electric *** significant research efforts,the understanding of complex structural dynamics during lithium（de-） intercalation still remains a subject of debate,especially in scenarios where morphology and composition *** this study,we carried out in situ high-energy synchrotron X-ray diffraction experiments on commercial NCM523cathode materials in both single crystal and polycrystalline forms to probe the structural changes during charging and discharging in *** findings reveal that both single crystal and polycrystalline materials exhibit typical H1-H2-H3 phase ***,in polycrystalline NCM532,a monoclinic intermediate phase emerges between the H1 and H2 *** this process,symmetry reduces from R-3m to C2/m,which is attributed to a shear distortion along the ab *** contrast,for single crystal materials,the H1 phase directly transforms into the H2 phase without the monoclinic *** observed monoclinic distortion significantly impacts structural stability and material cycling *** study provides new insight into the structural dynamics in NCM532 cathode materials,particularly concerning morphology-dependent behaviors,which could deepen our understanding of the relationship between NCM material structures and their performance.

Unveiling inverse vulcanized polymers as metal-free,visible-light-driven photocatalysts for cross-coupling reactions

Inverse vulcanized polymers(IVPs) that generated from elemental sulfur and smaller amounts of alkenes have found broad promising applications such as cathode materials for Li-S batteries, dynamic and repairable materials, optics applications, and metal sorption. However, their exploration in organic synthesis is still unprecedented. Here we first report the application of inverse vulcanized polymers in catalysis for organic transformations. A biomass-derived inverse vulcanized polymer(IVP-EAE) is found to be capable of catalyzing cross-coupling reactions in a transition-metal-free fashion under visible *** method allows the direct C–H functionalization of pyrroles and N-arylacrylamides with(hetero)aryl halides, respectively, leading to the formation of two sets of structurally important scaffolds including pyrrole-containing biaryls and 3,3-disubstituted oxindoles with high selectivity. We anticipate this study will not only unveil the new potential of IVPs, but also offer a distinct type of catalysts for organic transformations.

Lateral root elongation in maize is related to auxin synthesis and transportation mediated by N metabolism under a mixed NO_(3)^(–) and NH_(4)^(+) supply

A mixed nitrate (NO_(3)^(–)) and ammonium (NH_(4)^(+)) supply can promote root growth in maize (Zea mays),however,the changes in root morphology and the related physiological mechanism under different N forms are still ***,maize seedlings were grown hydroponically with three N supplied in three different forms (NO_(3)^(–)only,75/25 NO_(3)^(–)/NH_(4)^(+)and NH_(4)^(+)only).Compared with sole NO_(3)^(–)or NH_(4)^(+),the mixed N supply increased the total root length of maize but did not affect the number of axial *** main reason was the increased total lateral root length,while the average lateral root (LR) length in each axle was only slightly *** addition,the average LR density of 2nd whorl crown root under mixed N was also *** with sole nitrate,mixed N could improve the N metabolism of roots (such as the N influx rate,nitrate reductase (NR) and glutamine synthase (GS)enzyme activities and total amino content of the roots).Experiments with exogenously added NR and GS inhibitors suggested that the increase in the average LR length under mixed N was related to the process of N assimilation,and whether the NR mediated NO synthesis participates in this process needs further ***,an investigation of the changes in root-shoot ratio and carbon (C) concentration showed that C transportation from shoots to roots may not be the key factor in mediating lateral root elongation,and the changes in the sugar concentration in roots further proved this ***,the synthesis and transportation of auxin in axial roots may play a key role in lateral root elongation,in which the expression of ZmPIN1B and ZmPIN9 may be involved in this *** study preliminarily clarified the changes in root morphology and explored the possible physiological mechanism under a mixed N supply in maize,which may provide some theoretical basis for the cultivation of crop varieties with high N efficiency.

Longitudinal transducer driven by NiMnGa magnetic shape memory alloy

In order to realize a low-frequency and small-size underwater acoustic source,an underwater acoustic transducer has been designed by using Ni Mn Ga alloy, which has the advantages of large strain, rapid response and high energy density. Based on the deformation principle of Ni Mn Ga alloy, a physical model of a Ni Mn Ga longitudinal transducer is established, and the equivalentcircuit of the transducer is derived.A multi-physics coupling model of electromagnetic, mechanical and acoustic fields is established by using the finite element method to predict the underwater acoustic performance of the transducer.A small-scale prototype of the Ni Mn Ga longitudinal transducer is fabricated and its sound source level is tested in water within the frequency range from 500 Hz to 800 Hz. Experimental results demonstrate that the Ni Mn Ga transducer with an 8 mm diameter of the radiation surface, achieves sound source level of 115.5 d B at 700 Hz.

Comparative and Phylogenetic Analysis of the Complete Chloroplast Genomes of 19 Species in Rosaceae Family
