OsATL32 ubiquitinates the reactive oxygen species-producing OsRac5-OsRbohB module to suppress rice immunity

Ubiquitination-mediated protein degradation is integral to plant immunity,with E3 ubiquitin ligases acting as key factors in this ***,we report the functions of OsATL32,a plasma membrane-localized Arabidopsis Tóxicos En Levadura(ATL)-type E3 ubiquitin ligase,in rice(Oryza sativa)immunity and its associated regulatory *** found that the expression of OsATL32 is downregulated in both compatible and incompatible interactions between rice and the rice blast fungus Magnaporthe *** OsATL32 protein level declines in response to infection by a compatible *** strain or to chitin ***32 negatively regulates rice resistance to blast and bacterial leaf blight diseases,as well as chitin-triggered *** and genetic studies revealed that OsATL32 suppresses pathogen-induced reactive oxygen species(ROS)accumulation by mediating ubiquitination and degradation of the ROS-producing OsRac5–OsRbohB module,which enhances rice immunity against *** protein phosphatase PHOSPHATASE AND TENSIN HOMOLOG enhances rice blast resistance by dephosphorylating OsATL32 and promoting its degradation,preventing its negative effect on rice *** study provides insights into the molecular mechanism by which the E3 ligase OsATL32 targets a ROS-producing module to undermine rice immunity.

Identification of key genes regulating the synthesis of quercetin derivatives in Rosa roxburghii through integrated transcriptomics and metabolomics

Rosa roxburghii fruit is rich in flavonoids, but little is known about their biosynthetic pathways. In this study, we employed transcriptomics and metabolomics to study changes related to the flavonoids at five different stages of R. roxburghii fruit development. Flavonoids and the genes related to their biosynthesis were found to undergo significant changes in abundance across different developmental stages, and numerous quercetin derivatives were identified. We found three gene expression modules that were significantly associated with the abundances of the different flavonoids in R. roxburghii and identified three structural UDP-glycosyltransferase genes directly involved in the synthesis of quercetin derivatives within these modules. In addition, we found that RrBEH4, RrLBD1 and RrPIF8could significantly increase the expression of downstream quercetin derivative biosynthesis genes. Taken together,these results provide new insights into the metabolism of flavonoids and the accumulation of quercetin derivatives in R. roxburghii.

Cornus officinalis with high pressure wine steaming enhanced anti-hepatic fibrosis: Possible through SIRT3-AMPK axis

Cornus officinalis,a medicinal and edible plant known for its liver-nourishing properties,has shown promise in inhibiting the activation of hepatic stellate cells(HSCs),crucial indicators of hepatic fibrosis,especially when processed by high pressure wine steaming(HPWS).Herein,this study aims to investigate the regulatory effects of cornus officinalis,both in its raw and HPWS forms,on inflammation and apoptosis in liver fibrosis and their underlying *** vivo liver fibrosis models were established by subcutaneous injection of CCl4,while in vitro HSCs were exposed to transforming growth factor-b(TGF-b).These findings demonstrated that cornus officinalis with HPWS conspicuously ameliorated histopathological injury,reduced the release of proinflammatory factors,and decreased collagen deposition in CCl4-induced rats compared to its raw *** ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometer(UHPLC-QTOF-MS)combined with network analysis,we identified that the pharmacological effects of the changed components of cornus officinalis before and after HPWS,primarily centered on the adenosine phosphate(AMP)-activated protein kinase(AMPK)*** note,cornus officinalis activated AMPK and sirtuin 3(SIRT3),promoting the apoptosis of activated HSCs through the caspase cascade by regulating caspase3,caspase6 and *** interfering RNA(siRNA)experiments showed that cornus officinalis could regulate AMPK activity and its mediated-apoptosis through *** conclusion,cornus officinalis exhibited the ability to reduce inflammation and apoptosis,with the SIRT3-AMPK signaling pathway identified as a potential mechanism underlying the synergistic effect of cornus officinalis with HPWS on anti-liver fibrosis.

Surface Coating Enabling Sulfide Solid Electrolytes with Excellent Air Stability and Lithium Compatibility

All-solid-state lithium metal batteries (ASSLMBs) featuring sulfide solid electrolytes (SEs) are recognized as the most promising next-generation energy storage technology because of their exceptional safety and much-improved energy density. However, lithium dendrite growth in sulfide SEs and their poor air stability have posed significant obstacles to the advancement of sulfide-based ASSLMBs. Here, a thin layer (approximately 5 nm) of g-C3N4 is coated on the surface of a sulfide SE (Li6PS5Cl), which not only lowers the electronic conductivity of Li6PS5Cl but also achieves remarkable interface stability by facilitating the in situ formation of ion-conductive Li3N at the Li/Li6PS5Cl interface. Additionally, the g-C3N4 coating on the surface can substantially reduce the formation of H2S when Li6PS5Cl is exposed to humid air. As a result, Li-Li symmetrical cells using g-C3N4-coated Li6PS5Cl stably cycle for 1000 h with a current density of 0.2 mA cm(-2). ASSLMBs paired with LiNbO3-coated LiNi0.6Mn0.2Co0.2O2 exhibit a capacity of 132.8 mAh g(-1) at 0.1 C and a high-capacity retention of 99.1% after 200 cycles. Furthermore, g-C3N4-coated Li6PS5Cl effectively mitigates the self-discharge behavior observed in ASSLMBs. This surface-coating approach for sulfide solid electrolytes opens the door to the practical implementation of sulfide-based ASSLMBs.

A Novel Locomotion Rule Rmbedding Long Short-Term Memory Network with Attention for Human Locomotor Intent Classification Using Multi-Sensors Signals

Locomotor intent classification has become a research hotspot due to its importance to the development of assistive robotics and wearable *** work have achieved impressive performance in classifying steady locomotion ***,it remains challenging for these methods to attain high accuracy when facing transitions between steady locomotion *** to the similarities between the information of the transitions and their adjacent steady ***,most of these methods rely solely on data and overlook the objective laws between physical activities,resulting in lower accuracy,particularly when encountering complex locomotion modes such as *** address the existing deficiencies,we propose the locomotion rule embedding long short-term memory(LSTM)network with Attention(LREAL)for human locomotor intent classification,with a particular focus on transitions,using data from fewer sensors(two inertial measurement units and four goniometers).The LREAL network consists of two levels:One responsible for distinguishing between steady states and transitions,and the other for the accurate identification of locomotor *** classifier in these levels is composed of multiple-LSTM layers and an attention *** introduce real-world motion rules and apply constraints to the network,a prior knowledge was added to the network via a rule-modulating *** method was tested on the ENABL3S dataset,which contains continuous locomotion date for seven steady and twelve transitions *** results showed that the LREAL network could recognize locomotor intents with an average accuracy of 99.03%and 96.52%for the steady and transitions states,*** is worth noting that the LREAL network accuracy for transition-state recognition improved by 0.18%compared to other state-of-the-art network,while using data from fewer sensors.

With the increasing demand for high energy density energy storage device,Li metal has received intensive attention for its ultrahigh capacity and the lowest redox ***_(3)is widely used as electrolyte additive for ether electrolyte,which can improve the cycle performance of Li metal *** to ethers,carbonates are more suitable for Li metal batteries with high voltage cathode because they have a wider electrochemical ***,LiNO_(3)performs poor solubility in carbonate electrolyte,restricting its application in high voltage Li ***,we presented a facile method to introduce abundant LiNO_(3)additive to carbonate electrolyte system by introducing LiNO_(3)-PAN es as the interlayer of the ***_(3)-PAN es is in sufficient contact with the electrolyte so that it can continuously releases LiNO_(3)to assist the formation of Li_(2)N_(2)O_(2)-rich single nitrogenous component SEI layer on Li *** the help of LiNO_(3)-PAN es,Li metal anode shows excellent cycle stability even at a high current density of 4mA/cm^(2),so that the cycle performance of the full cells was significantly improved,whether in the anode-free Cu||LFP cell or the Li||NCM622 cell.

Dynamic Response Impact of Vehicle Braking on Simply Supported Beam Bridges with Corrugated Steel Webs Based on Vehicle-Bridge Coupled Vibration Analysis

A novel approach for analyzing coupled vibrations between vehicles and bridges is presented,taking into account spatiotemporal effects and mechanical phenomena resulting fromvehicle *** modeling and solution of bridge vibrations induced by vehicle deceleration are realized using this *** method’s validity and reliability are substantiated through numerical examples.A simply supported beam bridge with a corrugated steel web is taken as an example and the effects of parameters such as the initial vehicle speed,braking acceleration,braking location,and road surface roughness on the mid-span displacement and impact factor of the bridge are *** results show that vehicle braking significantly amplifies mid-span displacement and impact factor responses in comparison to uniform vehicular motion across the ***,the influence of wheelto-bridge friction forces is of particular significance and cannot be *** the vehicle initiates braking near the middle of the span,both the mid-span displacement and impact factor of the bridge exhibit substantial increases,further escalating with higher braking *** favorable road surface conditions,the midspan displacement and the impact factor during vehicle braking may exceed the design values stipulated by *** is important to note that road surface roughness exerts a more pronounced effect on the impact factor of the bridge in comparison to the effects of vehicle braking.

A New Encrypted Traffic Identification Model Based on VAE-LSTM-DRN

Encrypted traffic identification pertains to the precise acquisition and categorization of data from traffic datasets containing imbalanced and obscured *** extraction of encrypted traffic attributes and their subsequent identification presents a formidable *** existing models have predominantly relied on direct extraction of encrypted traffic data from imbalanced datasets,with the dataset’s imbalance significantly affecting the model’s *** the present study,a new model,referred to as UD-VLD(Unbalanced Dataset-VAE-LSTM-DRN),was proposed to address above *** proposed model is an encrypted traffic identification model for handling unbalanced *** encoder of the variational autoencoder(VAE)is combined with the decoder and Long-short term Memory(LSTM)in UD-VLD model to realize the data enhancement processing of the original unbalanced *** enhanced data is processed by transforming the deep residual network(DRN)to address neural network gradient-related ***,the data is classified and *** UD-VLD model integrates the related techniques of deep learning into the encrypted traffic recognition technique,thereby solving the processing problem for unbalanced *** UD-VLD model was tested using the publicly available Tor dataset and VPN *** UD-VLD model is evaluated against other comparative models in terms of accuracy,loss rate,precision,recall,F1-score,total time,and ROC *** results reveal that the UD-VLD model exhibits better performance in both binary and multi classification,being higher than other encrypted traffic recognition models that exist for unbalanced ***,the evaluation performance indicates that the UD-VLD model effectivelymitigates the impact of unbalanced data on traffic *** can serve as a novel solution for encrypted traffic identification.

Enhancing Image Description Generation through Deep Reinforcement Learning:Fusing Multiple Visual Features and Reward Mechanisms

Influence of High-Density Bedding Plane Characteristics on Hydraulic Fracture Propagation in Shale Oil Reservoir

The existence of high-density bedding planes is a typical characteristic of shale oil *** the behavior of hydraulic fracturing in high-density laminated rocks is significant for promoting shale oil *** this study,a hydraulic fracturing model considering tensile failure and frictional slip of the bedding planes is established within the framework of the unified pipe-interface element method(UP-IEM).The model developed for simulating the interaction between the hydraulic fracture and the bedding plane is validated by comparison with experimental *** hydraulic fracturing patterns in sealed and unsealed bedding planes are ***,the effects of differential stress,bedding plane permeability,spacing,and the friction coefficient of the bedding plane are *** results showed that a single main fracture crossing the bedding planes is more likely to form in sealed bedding planes under high differential *** decrease in bedding plane permeability and the increase in the friction coefficient also promote the fracture propagating perpendicular to the bedding *** with high-density bedding planes has a poorer fracturing effect than that with low-density bedding planes,as the hydraulic fracture is prone to initiate and propagate along the bedding ***,higher injection pressure is needed to maintain fracture propagation along the *** increase in bedding density will lead to a smaller fracturing *** fluid seepage into the bedding planes slows shale *** is recommended that increasing the injection flow rate,selecting alternative fracturing fluids,and employing multi-well/multi-cluster fracturing may be efficient methods to improve energy production in shale oil reservoirs.
