An ammonia-oxidizing strain of penicillium sp., M25-22 which was isolated from chicken feces compost, was studied to make clear its characteristics of ammonium oxidation and provide references for its application in aerobic composting. In media containing （NH4）2SO4 at a concentration of 0.5 g 100 mL^-1, mycelium weight and utilization ratio of ammonium nitrogen increased markedly during the 1st 5 d, concentration of nitrate increased markedly from the 3rd to the 5th d and concentration of nitrite remained at a low level. The strain showed the ability to oxidize ammonium nitrogen growing in media containing glucose, sucrose, starch, or cellulose as the sole carbon source and to oxidize the negative trivalent nitrogen of ammonium sulfate, peptone, acetamide, urea, or L-aspartate. Slowly available carbon or nitrogen sources such as starch, cellulose, and peptone were beneficial to ammonium oxidation. In media containing sucrose as the sole carbon source and ammonium sulfate as the sole nitrogen source, nitrate formation was the most pronounced with sucrose present at a concentration of 12 g L^-1 and ammonium nitrogen present at a concentration of 2.438 mg mL% at the initial pH level of 7.5 and at 30℃.

Oyster(Crassostrea gigas),the main ingredient of oyster sauce,has a strong umami *** this study,three potential umami peptides,FLNQDEEAr(Fr-9),FNKEE(FE-5),and EEFLK(EK-5),were identified and screened from the alcoholic extracts of the oyster using nano-HpLC-MS/MS analysis,i Umami-Scoring Card Method(i Umami-SCM)database and molecular docking(MD).Sensory evaluation and electronic tongue analysis were further used to confirm their *** threshold of the three peptides ranged from 0.38 to 0.55 mg/m *** with umami receptors T1r1/T1r3 indicated that the electrostatic interaction and hydrogen bond interaction were the main forces ***,the phe592 and Gln853 of T1r3 were the primary docking site for MD and played an important role in umami *** with two Glu residues at the terminus had stronger umami,especially at the *** results contribute to the understanding of umami peptides in oysters and the interaction mechanism between umami peptides and umami receptors.

Fibroblast growth factor (FGF)-21 is a member of the FGF superfamily based on sequence homology. However, unlike most members of this family it does not show any mitogenic activity in all cell types tested. The objective of this study is to identify and characterize receptors for this molecule. Sequencing of the cDNA clones from 3T3-L1 adipocytes indicates that the only isoforms for FGFr-1 and 2 expressed in 3T3-L1 cells are 1IIIc and 2IIIc, respectively, suggesting that FGF-21 regulates glucose metabolism in 3T3-L1 adipocytes through FGFr-1IIIc and FGFr-2IIIc.

Epistasis is generally defined as the interaction between two or more genes or their mrNA or protein products to influence a single trait. Experimental evidence suggested that epistasis could be important in the determination of the genetic architecture of complex traits in domestic animals. Acetyl-coenzyme A carboxylase alpha （ACACA） and fatty acid binding protein 2 （FABp2） are both key factors of lipogenesis and transport. They may play a crucial role in the weight variability of abdominal adipose tissue in the growing chicken. In this study, the polymorphisms of c.2292G〉A in A CA CA and c.-561A〉C in FABp2 were detected among individuals from two broiler lines which were divergently selected for abdominal fat content. Epistasis between the two SNps on abdominal fat weight （AFW） and ab- dominal fat percentage （AFp） was analyzed. The additive x additive epistatic components between these two SNps were found significant or suggestively significant on both AFW and AFp in lean lines of the 9th and 10th generation; whereas, it was not significantly associated with either AFW or AFp in fat lines. At the same time, there were not any other significant epistatic components found in both generations or in both lines. Significant epistatic effects between these two SNps found only in the lean lines could partly be due to the fact that the abdominal fat traits in these two experimental lines have been greatly modified by strong artificial selection. The results suggested that the epistasis mode may be different between the lean and fat chicken lines. Our results could be helpful in further understanding the genetic interaction between candidate genes contributing to phenotypic variation of abdominal fat content in broilers.

It has been proven that carrier smoothing and differential global positioning system （DGpS） are effective to improve the accuracy of pseudorange by reducing the noise in it and eliminating almost all the common mode errors between the ground station and user. However, another issue coming with local area augmentation system （LAAS） is how to find an adaptive smoothing window width to minimize the error on account of ionosphere delay and multipath. Based on the errors analysis in carrier smoothing process, a novel algorithm is formulated to design adaptive Hatch filter whose smoothing window width flexibly varies with the characteristic of ionosphere delay and multipath in the differential carrier smoothing process. By conducting the simulation in LAAS and after compared with traditional Hatch filers, it reveals that not only the accuracy of differential correction, but also the accuracy and the robustness of positioning results are significantly improved by using the designed adaptive Hatch filter.

The effects of the concentration of MS micro salts, 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D), 3-naphthalene acetic acid (NAA), proline and adenine on callus formation and somatic embryogenesis were investigated using orthogonal design with immature cotyledons of soybean. The results showed that the role of concentration of micro salts on frequency of callus formation and somatic embryogenesis were significant. MS medium supplemented with 2,4-D, NAA, proline and adenine could stimulate callus formation. The concentration of MS micro salts possessed obvious effects on somatic embryogenesis of *** category and concentration of the hormone needed were different among genotypes when embryogenesis were induced.

The resaerch examined the effect of the two oceanic materials as coating materials on the soybean *** results showed chitosan and sodium alginate seed coating can enhance the growth of seedling root,increase the nodule mumber,root activity and the growth of *** suggested coating ratios were 0.5～1.0g/kgseed,the same as *** two materials could increase the contents of CAT and Nr in soybean leaves,decrease the contents of pOD in soybean leaves.
