Post-disaster spatial reconstruction from the perspective of a rural settlement niche in the upper reaches of the Minjiang River

Post-disaster recovery and reconstruction provide an effective way to reduce the disaster vulnerability of, and promote leapfrog development in, an affected area. To date, studies that have used administrative boundaries to investigate the reconstruction of settlement space have not been able to clearly define the real boundaries of land use changes or quantify the degree of response to the ‘Build-Back-Better’ initiative, and have lacked any consideration of the fourth reconstruction stage–development period(10 years). This study constructed a mountain settlement niche and analyzed the characteristics, spatial reconstruction, and drivers of rural settlements during 2009–2019 in the upper reaches of the Minjiang River, southwest China. The results showed the following:(1) Natural factors were the basis for the formation and development of mountain settlement niches. The scale of the settlement niche and its land use structure depended on the physical geography features and the ethnic farming and grazing traditions. The settlement niche provided a realistic boundary for the spatial reconstruction.(2) The layout of residential land around cropland was the common feature of the mountain settlement niche. Of all the land use types, the roads and rural residential lands showed the most change over the 10 years;13,860 residential patches increased in size and 4,742 patches were abandoned.(3) The area of orchards, planted to reconstruct the economy in the mountains, increased by nearly 2.5 times.(4) Collapses, landslides, and debris flow disasters and the ecological red line influenced the spatial reconstruction. While the main focus of post-disaster recovery is spatial reconstruction, initiatives should include economic and spiritual recovery, and should also achieve sustainable development of the region.

An mmWave Dual-Band Integrated Substrate Gap Waveguide Single Cavity Filter with Frequency Selectivity

A novel dual-band ISGW cavity filter with enhanced frequency selectivity is proposed in this paper by utilizing a multi-mode coupling topology.Its cavity is designed to control the number of modes,and then the ports are determined by analyzing the coupling relationship between these selected modes.By synthesizing the coupling matrix of the filter,a nonresonating node(NRN)structure is introduced to flexibly tune the frequency of modes,which gets a dualband and quad-band filtering response from a tri-band filter no the NRN.Furthermore,a frequency selective surface(FSS)has been newly designed as the upper surface of the cavity,which significantly improves the bad out-of-band suppression and frequency selectivity that often exists in most traditional cavity filter designs and measurements.The results show that its two center frequencies are f01=27.50 GHz and f02=32.92GHz,respectively.Compared with the dual-band filter that there is no the FSS metasurface,the out-of-band suppression level is improved from measured 5 dB to18 dB,and its finite transmission zero(FTZ)numbers is increased from measured 1 to 4 between the two designed bands.Compared with the tri-band and quadband filter,its passband bandwidth is expanded from measured 1.17%,1.14%,and 1.13% or 1.31%,1.50%,0.56%,and 0.57% to 1.71% and 1.87%.In addition,the filter has compact,small,and lightweight characteristics.

The highly efficient chemoselectivity,stereoselectivity,and regioselectivity render enzyme catalysis an ideal pathway for the synthesis of various chemicals in broad applications.While the cofactor of an enzyme is necessary but expensive,the conversed state of the cofactor is not beneficial for the positive direction of the reaction.Cofactor regeneration using electrochemical methods has the advantages of simple operation,low cost,easy process monitoring,and easy product separation,and the electrical energy is green and sustainable.Therefore,bioelectrocatalysis has great potential in synthesis by combining electrochemical cofactor regeneration with enzymatic catalysis.In this review,we detail the mechanism of cofactor regeneration and categorize the common electron mediators and enzymes used in cofactor regeneration.The reaction type and the recent progress are summarized in electrochemically coupled enzymatic catalysis.The main challenges of such electroenzymatic catalysis are pointed out and future developments in this field are foreseen.

This paper addresses a multi-agent scheduling problem with uniform parallel machines owned by a resource agent and competing jobs with dynamic arrival times that belong to different consumer agents.All agents are self-interested and rational with the aim of maximizing their own objectives,resulting in intense resource competition among consumer agents and strategic behaviors of unwillingness to disclose private information.Within the context,a centralized scheduling approach is unfeasible,and a decentralized approach is considered to deal with the targeted problem.This study aims to generate a stable and collaborative solution with high social welfare while simultaneously accommodating consumer agents’preferences under incomplete information.For this purpose,a dynamic iterative auction-based approach based on a decentralized decision-making procedure is developed.In the proposed approach,a dynamic auction procedure is established for dynamic jobs participating in a realtime auction,and a straightforward and easy-to-implement bidding strategy without price is presented to reduce the complexity of bid determination.In addition,an adaptive Hungarian algorithm is applied to solve the winner determination problem efficiently.A theoretical analysis is conducted to prove that the proposed approach is individually rational and that the myopic bidding strategy is a weakly dominant strategy for consumer agents submitting bids.Extensive computational experiments demonstrate that the developed approach achieves high-quality solutions and exhibits considerable stability on largescale problems with numerous consumer agents and jobs.A further multi-agent scheduling problem considering multiple resource agents will be studied in future work.

Development and Control Strategy of Subsea All-Electric Actuators

The development of subsea all-electric Christmas trees is an area of focus in the offshore oil industry worldwide.The main difficulties are associated with the development and control strategies for subsea all-electric actuators,which are the most criti-cal components of subsea Christmas trees.A single-motor-level fuzzy PID control with an integrated working condition detection mod-ule and a three-motor redundant-level deviation strategy with coupled joint synchronous control were proposed in this paper to real-ize the real time determination of algorithm parameters according to the working conditions,solve the rapid redistribution problems,and maintain the fast speed of the servo motor of the subsea all-electric tree valve actuator.A synchronous control electrical system was built,tested,and verified through simulation analysis.Test results show that the two redundant servo motors can still control the all-electric valve actuator and provide good synchronization control capabilities despite the failure of one servo motor,and the verti-cal and horizontal vibration values of the system are within reasonable ranges.The synchronous control strategy can be applied to the synchronous control problem of subsea all-electric production systems,which is of considerable importance for the development of subsea all-electric production systems.

为了提高对电能质量扰动信号(power quality disturbance signal,PQDs)在受到噪声和异常数据干扰时的分类准确率,提出了一种双分支并联特征融合网络的PQDs分类方法。首先,采用一维残差神经网络和一维卷积神经网络两个分支进行特征提取。然后,通过特征融合模块将这些特征融合在一起。最终,通过分类模块对PQDs进行准确分类。相对于串联神经网络,所提方法融合特征向量,增强了特征的区分度,同时适用于并行计算,进一步提高了识别速度。仿真结果表明,所提方法在叠加信噪比为13 dB、15 dB和18 dB的PQDs分类任务中,识别率均超过95%,此外,该方法对异常数据的分类效果也具有一定的鲁棒性。

预制装配桥梁采用工厂化预制、现场拼装的施工方法,具有施工质量高、建设周期短和环境扰动少等优点。为满足预制装配桥梁下部结构的建造需求,结合了超高性能混凝土(ultra high-performance concrete,UHPC),提出一种新型的嵌入式钢管混凝土(concrete-filled steel tube,CFST)墩柱-盖梁承插连接节点。开展1∶3缩尺的拟静力试验,揭示节点的损伤发展和失效模式,探究承插深度对节点抗震性能的影响规律,并基于ABAQUS建立节点的精细化数值分析模型。研究结果表明:1.2倍CFST直径的承插深度可保证损伤发生在节点区域以外,盖梁保持弹性状态,通过分析滞回曲线、承插能力和耗能能力等抗震性能指标,验证了新型节点良好的抗震性能;基于试验结果验证了节点数值分析模型可以合理精度预测节点的整体地震响应和承载能力。研究工作可为预制装配桥梁下部结构在中高烈度区的工程应用提供参考。

为了研究双钢板混凝土组合墙在偏心受压荷载下的结构性能,设计制作了5个试件,以偏心距离和墙板厚度作为研究参数,进行偏心受压试验.利用ABAQUS软件对试件进行有限元分析,并采用截面分析法计算试件在轴力与弯矩共同作用下的截面承载力.试验结果表明,试件最终出现钢板局部屈曲与混凝土受压破坏.根据试验荷载-位移曲线,计算得到试件延性系数为1.28~1.92.墙厚相同时,随着加载偏心距离的增加,承载力逐渐下降.偏心距离相同时,增加墙体厚度可以有效提高试件承载能力.偏心受压试件的截面应变分布满足平截面假定.承载力试验值与有限元模型计算值和理论计算值的最大误差分别为4%和9%.

The effect of modified layers on the performance of inverted ZnO nanorods/MEH-PPV solar cells

We fabricate inverted organic/inorganic hybrid solar cells based on vertically oriented ZnO nanorods and polymer MEH-PPV. The morphology of ZnO nanorods and ZnO nanorods/MEH-PPV hybrid structure is depicted by using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and atomic force microscope (AFM), respectively. It is observed that ZnO nanorods array grows primarily aligned along the perpendicular direction of the ITO substrate. The MEH-PPV molecule does not enter the interspace between ZnO nanorods completely according to SEM picture. It results in the small and bad contact area between ZnO nanorods and MEH-PPV. To improve the photovoltaic performance, we also fabricate another kind of photovoltaic (PV) device modified by N719 dye, and exploit the effect of N719. After the modification of ZnO nanorods by N719, not only Jsc increases from 0.257 mA/cm2 to 0.42 mA/cm2, but also Voc enhances from 0.37 V to 0.42 V. Insert LiF buffer layer between MEH-PPV and anode, Jsc of 1.05 mA/cm2 is obtained, and it is 2.5 times that the device without LiF.
