Nowadays,force sensors play an important role in industrial production,electronic information,medical health,and many other ***-dimensional material-based filed effect transistor(2D-FET)sensors are competitive with nano-level size,lower power consumption,and accurate ***,few of them has the capability of impulse detection which is a path function,expressing the cumulative effect of the force on the particle over a period of *** we fabricated the flexible polymethyl methacrylate(PMMA)gate dielectric MoS_(2)-FET for force and impulse sensor *** systematically investigated the responses of the sensor to constant force and varying forces,and achieved the conversion factors of the drain current signals(I_(ds))to the detected impulse(I).The applied force was detected and recorded by I_(ds)with a low power consumption of~30 *** sensitivity of the device can reach~8000%and the 4×1 sensor array is able to detect and locate the normal force applied on ***,there was almost no performance loss for the device as left in the air for two months.

Revealing and predicting the long-term biomechanical response of orthokeratology by developing a patient-specific computational model

Nitronyl nitroxides,stable organic radicals,have played a prominent role in the design and construction of molecular magnetic materials.[1]Among the research,most of the reported systems are transition metal-radical[2]or lanthanide-radical[3]complexes,while the heterospin compounds containing three different spin carriers are very ***,we have successfully obtained the first 2p-3d-4f chain complexes constructed from nitronyl nitroxide radicals.[4]To further explore the magnetism of such hetero-tri-spin chain system,we herein synthesized two new 2p-3d-4f chain compounds[Ln3Cu（hfac）11{NIT-Ph（OMe）2}4]n（LnⅢ=Gd（1）,Tb（2）;hfac=hexafluoroacetylacetonate）.The supramolecular 1D organization is made up with a repeating[Cu-Nit-Ln-Nit-Ln-Nit-Ln-Nit]*** NIT-Ph（OMe）2 act as bridge ligand via their oxygen atom of the N–O group（figure 1）.Each lanthanide（Ⅲ）ion is 8-coordinated by six O atoms from three bidentate hfac ligands and two nitroxide groups from the *** copper（Ⅱ）ion is 6-coordinated to two nitroxide groups and two hfac *** studies indicate that Gd complex shows the cryogenic magnetocaloric effect and slow magnetic relaxation is observed in the anisotropic Tb-analogue（figure 2）.

Orthokeratology(OK) is widely used for effective myopia correction and control. However, the incomplete understanding of its biomechanical mechanisms makes OK lens fitting rely heavily on clinician judgment, complicating accurate predictions of treatment outcomes. In this paper, we performed clinical experiments and numerical analysis to study corneal deformation modes and long-term changes in central corneal thickness. Clinical experiments were conducted on 194 Chinese myopic patients under OK treatment for 3 months. Based on the experimental data, a patient-specific computational biomechanical model for OK was established and validated. Specifically, the anisotropic mechanical properties of the cornea were incorporated into the model to describe the significant difference between its shear modulus(29.5 kPa) and tensile modulus(768.4 kPa). Additionally, a viscohyperelastic material model with a prolonged corneal relaxation time of 5.6 h was developed to capture the long-term deformation response. The results show that corneal thickness reduction in OK is primarily due to out-of-plane shear deformation,influenced by the cornea's low shear resistance. Modeling the extended corneal relaxation time is crucial for predicting long-term biomechanical responses. The computational model effectively captures long-term changes in central corneal thickness, potentially improving OK lens fitting accuracy.

BACKGROUND Hypernatremia represents a significant electrolyte imbalance associated with numerous adverse outcomes,particularly in cases of intensive care unit(ICU)-acquired hypernatremia(IAH).Nevertheless,its relevance in patients with septic shock remains *** To identify independent risk factors and their predictive efficacy for IAH to improve outcomes in patients with septic *** In the present retrospective single-center study,a cohort of 157 septic shock patients with concurrent hypernatremia in the ICU at The First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University,between August 1,2018,and May 31,2023,were *** were categorized based on the timing of hypernatremia occurrence into the IAH group(n=62),the non-IAH group(n=41),and the normonatremia group(n=54).RESULTS In the present study,there was a significant association between the high serum sodium concentrations,excessive persistent inflammation,immunosuppression and catabolism syndrome and chronic critical illness,while rapid recovery had an apparent association with ***,multivariable analyses revealed the following independent risk factors for IAH:Total urinary output over the preceding three days[odds ratio(OR)=1.09;95%CI:1.02–1.17;P=0.014],enteral nutrition(EN)sodium content of 500 mg(OR=2.93;95%CI:1.13–7.60;P=0.027),and EN sodium content of 670 mg(OR=6.19;95%CI:1.75–21.98;P=0.005)were positively correlated with the development of ***,the area under the curve for total urinary output over the preceding three days was 0.800(95%CI:0.678–0.922,P=0.001).Furthermore,maximum serum sodium levels,the duration of hypernatremia,and varying sodium correction rates were significantly associated with 28-day in-hospital mortality in septic shock patients(P<0.05).CONCLUSION The present findings illustrate that elevated serum sodium level was significantly associated with a poor prognosis in septic shock patients in the *** is highly recommended that hypernatremia be
