BACKGrOUND The neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio(NLr)has been reported as a novel predictor for atherosclerosis and car-diovascular *** study aimed to determine the effects of NLr on long-term clinical outcomes of chronic total occlusion(CTO)*** A total of 670 patients with CTO who met the inclusion criteria were included at the end of the follow-up *** were divided into tertiles according to their baseline NLr levels at admission:low(n=223),intermediate(n=223),and high(n=224).The incidence of major adverse cardiac events(MACEs)during the follow-up period,including all-cause death,nonfatal myocardial infarction(MI),or ischemia-driven revascularization,were compared among the three *** Major adverse cardiac events were observed in 27 patients(12.1%)in the low tertile,40(17.9%)in the intermediate tertile,and 61(27.2%)in the high NLr tertile(pplan-Meier analysis demonstrated a significantly higher incidence of MACE,ischemia-driven coronary revascularization,non-fatal MI,and mortality in patients within the high tertile than those in the low and intermediate groups(all priable COX regression analysis showed that the high tertile of baseline NLr level showed a strong association with the risk of MACE(hazard ratio[Hr]=2.21;95%confidence interval[CI]:1.21-4.03;p=0.009),ischemia-driven coronary revascularization(Hr=3.19;95%CI:1.56-6.52;p=0.001),MI(Hr=2.61;95%CI:1.35-5.03;p=0.043)and mortality(Hr=3.78;95%CI:1.65-8.77;p=0.001).CONCLUSION Our findings suggest that NLr is an inexpensive and readily available biomarker that can independently pre-dict cardiovascular risk in patients with CTO.

This study examines the impact of electric solar wind sail(E-sail)parameters on the attitude stability of E-sail’s central spacecraft by using a comprehensive rigid–flexible coupling dynamic *** this model,the nodal position finite element method is used to model the elastic deformation of the tethers through interconnected two-node tensile *** attitude dynamics of the central spacecraft is described using a natural coordinate *** rigid–flexible coupling between the central spacecraft and its flexible tethers is established using Lagrange *** research reveals the significant influences of parameters such as tether numbers,tether’s electric potential,and solar wind velocity on attitude ***,solar wind fluctuations and the distribution of electric potential on the main tethers considerably affect the attitude stability of the *** consistent management,the angular velocities of the spacecraft must remain at target ***,the attitude stability of a spacecraft has a pronounced dependence on the geometrical configuration of the E-sail,with axisymmetric E-sails proving to be more stable.

Objective:This cross-sectional study aimed to determine the epidemiology of olfactory and gustatory dysfunctions related to COVID-19 in ***:This study was conducted by 45 tertiary Grade-A hospitals in *** and offline questionnaire data were obtained from patients infected with COVID-19 between December 28,2022,and February 21,*** collected information included basic demographics,medical history,smoking and drinking history,vaccination history,changes in olfactory and gustatory functions before and after infection,and other postinfection symptoms,as well as the duration and improvement status of olfactory and gustatory ***:Complete questionnaires were obtained from 35,566 *** overall incidence of olfactory and taste dysfunction was 67.75%.Being female or being a cigarette smoker increased the likelihood of developing olfactory and taste *** received four doses of the vaccine or having good oral health or being a alcohol drinker decreased the risk of such *** infection,the average olfactory and taste VAS scores were 8.41 and 8.51,respectively;after infection,they decreased to 3.69 and 4.29 and recovered to 5.83 and 6.55 by the time of the *** median duration of dysosmia and dysgeusia was 15 and 12 days,respectively,with 0.5%of patients having symptoms lasting for more than 28 *** overall self-reported improvement rate was 59.16%.recovery was higher in males,never smokers,those who received two or three vaccine doses,and those that had never experienced dental health issues,or chronic accompanying ***:The incidence of dysosmia and dysgeusia following infection with the SArS-CoV-2 virus is high in *** and prognosis are influenced by several factors,including sex,SArS-CoV-2 vaccination,history of head-facial trauma,nasal and oral health status,smoking and drinking history,and the persistence of accompanying symptoms.

Abnormal hyperphosphorylation and accumulation of tau protein play a pivotal role in neurodegeneration in Alzheimer’s disease(AD)and many other *** elimination of hyperphosphorylated tau is promising for the therapy of these *** have conceptualized a strategy,named dephosphorylation-targeting chimeras(DEpTACs),for specifically hijacking phosphatases to tau to debilitate its ***,we conducted the step-by-step optimization of each constituent motif to generate DEpTACs with reasonable effectiveness in facilitating the dephosphorylation and subsequent clearance of pathological ***,for one of the selected chimeras,D16,we demonstrated its significant efficiency in rescuing the neurodegeneration caused by neurotoxic K18-tau seeds in ***,intravenous administration of D16 also alleviated tau pathologies in the brain and improved memory deficits in AD *** results suggested DEpTACs as targeted modulators of tau phosphorylation,which hold therapeutic potential for AD and other tauopathies.

Due to the worldwide epidemic of allergic disease and a cure nowhere in sight,there is a crucial need to explore its pathophysiological *** allergic disease has been associated with gut dysbiosis,we searched for a possible mechanism from the perspective of the molecular interface between host and microbiota with concurrent metabolomics and microbiome composition ***-Dawley rats were injected with Artemisia pollen extract to stimulate a hyper reaction to *** hyper reaction decreased the circulation of valine,isoleucine,aspartate,glutamate,glutamine,indole-propionate(IpA),and myo-inositol,and reduced short-chain fatty acids(SCFAs)in *** beneficial genera belonging to ruminococcaceae,Lachnospiraceae,and Clostridiales declined in the model group,whereas Helicobacter and Akkermansia were only expressed in the model ***,the expression of intestinal claudin-3 and liver fatty acid binding protein was downregulated in the model group and associated with metabolic changes and *** results suggest that alterations in amino acids as well as their derivatives(especially valine,and IpA which is the reductive product of tryptophan),SCFAs,and the gut microbiome(specifically Akkermansia and Helicobacter)may disrupt the intestinal barrier function by inhibiting the expression of claudin proteins and affecting the mucus layer,which further results in hay fever.

The full array of the Large High Altitude Air Shower Observatory(LHAASO)has been in operation since July *** its kilometer-square array(KM2A),we optimized the selection criteria for very high and ultrahigh energyγ-rays using data collected from August 2021 to August 2022,resulting in an improvement in significance of the detection in the Crab Nebula of approximately 15%,compared with that of previous *** the implementation of these new selection criteria,the angular resolution was also significantly improved by approximately 10%at tens of *** aspects of the full KM2A array performance,such as the pointing error,were also calibrated using the Crab *** resulting energy spectrum of the Crab Nebula in the energy range of 10-1000 TeV are well fitted by a log-parabola model,which is consistent with the previous results from LHAASO and other experiments.

As the pivotal test equipment of aero-engines design,finalization,improvement,modification,etc.,the Altitude Ground Test Facilities(AGTF)plays an important role in the research and development of the *** the rapid development of advanced high-performance aeroengine,the increasing demand of high-altitude simulation test is driving AGTF to improve its test ability and level of automation and *** modeling method,simulation tool,and control technology are the key factors to support the improvement of the AGTF control *** main purpose of this paper is to provide an overview of modeling methods,simulation tools,and control technologies in AGTF control system for future ***,it reviews the evolution of AGTF in the world,from the early formative stage to integration ***,the mathematical modeling method of AGTF for control application is ***,the simulation tools used in the AGTF control system are overviewed from numerical simulation to hardware-in-loop simulation and further to semi-physical ***,the control technologies used in the AGTF control system are summarized from single-variable control to multivariable integrated control,and from classical control theory to modern control ***,recommendations for future research are ***,this review article provides extensive literature information for the modeling,simulation,and control design of AGTF for control application.

Non-muscle invasive bladder cancer(NMIBC)is a major type of bladder cancer with a high incidence worldwide,resulting in a great disease *** and surveillance are the most important part of NIMBC *** 2018,we issued“Treatment and surveillance for non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer in china:an evidencebased clinical practice guideline”.Since then,various studies on the treatment and surveillance of NMIBC have been *** is a need to incorporate these materials and also to take into account the relatively limited medical resources in primary medical institutions in *** a version of guideline which takes these two issues into account to promote the management of NMIBC is therefore *** formed a working group of clinical experts and *** questionnaire investigation of clinicians including primary medical institutions,24 clinically concerned issues,involving transurethral resection of bladder tumor(TUrBT),intravesical chemotherapy and intravesical immunotherapy of NMIBC,and follow-up and surveillance of the NMIBC patients,were determined for this *** and recommendations on the management of NMIBC in databases,guideline development professional societies and monographs were referred to,and the European Association of Urology was used to assess the certainty of generated ***,we issued 29 statements,among which 22 were strong recommendations,and 7 were weak *** recommendations cover the topics of TUrBT,postoperative chemotherapy after TUrBT,Bacillus Calmette–Guérin(BCG)immunotherapy after TUrBT,combination treatment of BCG and chemotherapy after TUrBT,treatment of carcinoma in situ,radical cystectomy,treatment of NMIBC recurrence,and follow-up and *** hope these recommendations can help promote the treatment and surveillance of NMIBC in china,especially for the primary medical institutions.
