Air pollution in China covers a large area with complex sources and formation mechanisms,making it a unique place to conduct air pollution and atmospheric chemistry *** National Natural Science Foundation of China’s Major Research Plan entitled“Fundamental Researches on the Formation and Response Mechanism of the Air Pollution Complex in China”(or the Plan)has funded 76 research projects to explore the causes of air pollution in China,and the key processes of air pollution in atmospheric physics and atmospheric *** order to summarize the abundant data from the Plan and exhibit the long-term impacts domestically and internationally,an integration project is responsible for collecting the various types of data generated by the 76 projects of the *** project has classified and integrated these data,forming eight categories containing 258 datasets and 15 technical reports in *** integration project has led to the successful establishment of the China Air Pollution Data Center(CAPDC)platform,providing storage,retrieval,and download services for the eight *** platform has distinct features including data visualization,related project information querying,and bilingual services in both English and Chinese,which allows for rapid searching and downloading of data and provides a solid foundation of data and support for future related *** pollution control in China,especially in the past decade,is undeniably a global exemplar,and this data center is the first in China to focus on research into the country’s air pollution complex.

Carbon-supported CeNCl as an efficient catalyst for CO_(2)cycloaddition

The cycloaddition reaction of CO_(2)with epoxide not only effectively reduces the concentration of CO_(2)in the atmosphere,but also has excellent industrial application value and up to 100%atom utilization,but there are difficulties in separation and recovery of traditional homogeneous catalysts,harsh reaction conditions of traditional heterogeneous catalysts,and activation of CO_(2)*** this paper,an easily synthesized heterogeneous catalyst CeNCl/C was used to catalyze the cycloaddition reaction of CO_(2)with styrene oxide,with a high yield of 92.7%,a high selectivity of 96.7%,a turnover numbers(TON)value of 349,and a good stability demonstrated in six cycle tests(equivalent to 216 h of testing).Through comprehensive studies,it was shown that CeNCl/C contains Lewis acid-base centers as active centers,which can effectively reduce the energy barrier required for ring opening of the reaction substrate,enhance the adsorption and activation of CO_(2),and promote the formation of intermediates,which led to the acquisition of excellent catalytic activity.

Apple replant disease(ARD)is a common soil-borne disease,and has a negative impact on the growth and yield of apple trees(Jiang et al.,2023).Due to the prevalence of pathogenic Fusarium spp.,the resulting microbial community shift in the rhizosphere soil has been the primary cause of ARD in major apple-producing regions along the Bohai Gulf(wang et al.,2018).Chemical fumigation is gradually eliminated because of its environmental ***,it is crucial to find sustainable,eco-friendly,and effective biological measures to alleviate ARD(wang et al.,2022).Since the discovery of antagonistic and plant growthpromoting bacteria(such as Bacillus spp.),their solid microbial fertilizers have been demonstrated to have effective biocontrol properties(Shahid et al.,2021).In view of the variety of natural antifungal compounds of Bacillus spp.(Jasim et al.,2016;Ismaila et al.,2023),there were few reports on applying sterile supernatant of Bacillus *** prevent ARD.

“另有规定除外”式法条广泛存在于各类规范形式中,在地方性法规领域,合法性要求和规范化需求尤为显著。由于地方性法规受到地方立法权限的形式约束,不具备变通上位法的特殊权限,因此在地方性法规中设置“另有规定除外”式法条存在诸多亟待厘清的规范化前提。在立法实践中,依据被引用规范的范围,此类法条呈现出三种类型。若未能规范化设置“另有规定除外”式法条,则会引发三个合法性问题,即超越地方立法权限、规范内容衔接偏差以及混淆法的效力关系。根据类型化的法源理论,可以厘定设置“另有规定除外”式法条的形式理据、内容理据和目的理据,据此建立专门适用于此类法条的规范化设置要件。首先,被引用规范的法源层级应不低于地方性法规;其次,“另有规定除外”式法条的调整事项应当在被引用规范的文义射程内;最后,“另有规定除外”式法条的适用效果应是法定效力关系的具体化。

A comparison of the proto-dolomite induced by cyanobacteria and halophilic bacteria:implications for dolomite-inducing microbe identification

This study investigates the morphological and mineralogical characteristics of proto-dolomite induced by two specific microorganisms with varying lifestyles:the extremely halophilic bacterium Vibrio harveyi QPL2 and the cyanobacterium Leptolyngbya boryana. Halophilic bacterially-induced proto-dolomite(HBD) and cyanobacterially-induced proto-dolomite (CBD) were subjected to comprehensive characterization techniques, including X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, Focused Ion Beam, thermogravimetric analysis, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The results indicate that both HBD and CBD exhibit a low degree of crystallinity and possess comparable molar ratios of MgCO3to CaCO3. Moreover, neither of them exhibits the ordered structure of ideal dolomite. HBD and CBD exhibit notable distinctions in external morphology and internal structure. HBD forms a subunit aggregate with a less dense surface and numerous pinhole structures resulting from bacterial survival. In contrast, CBD adopts a bispherical shape with a relatively dense surface and minimal indications of cyanobacterial survival. Both HBD and CBD have an internal hollow structure. However, HBD is characterized by sparse population and loosely arranged subunits, while CBD features only a central cavity. Additionally, HBD particles are smaller compared to CBD particles. These morphological differences suggest that HBD primarily grows through bacterial surface-dependent processes,whereas the growth of CBD is not directly reliant on the surface of cyanobacteria. Compositionally, the weightpercentage of crystalline water in CBD exceeded that of HBD with a value of 29.42%compared to 5.9%. This increase in internal crystalline water enables a faster conversion of CBD to the ordered ideal dolomite in a specific diagenetic environment. This study implies that the morphology and composition of microbial protodolomite may aid in identifying the type of dolomite-inducing microbes.

Diabetic wound healing is often complicated due to bacterial infections that intensify inflammation. Employing hydrogel dressings with inherent antibacterial properties can significantly reduce reliance on antibiotics for treating infected wounds in diabetics. Traditional hydrogels typically rely on the infiltration of bacteria into their porous structure to manifest antibacterial effects. However, this infiltration process is not only prolonged but can also exacerbate inflammation, further delaying the healing of the ***, promptly capturing and eliminating bacteria is crucial for enhancing the antibacterial efficiency of the hydrogel. In this context, we present a multifunctional hydrogel dressing, termed SIP, designed to tackle drug-resistant bacterial infections in diabetic wounds. This dressing integrates ionic liquid functional groups into a sericin-based matrix: phenylboronic acid for the immobilization of bacteria and imidazole for their subsequent annihilation. Expectedly, the SIP system demonstrates potent antibacterial activity against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, verified through in vitro and in vivo experiments. As a result, SIP emerges as a promising candidate in the realm of hydrogel dressings with innate antibacterial properties, showcasing considerable potential for addressing diabetic wounds plagued by drug-resistant bacterial infections.

Enhancement of densification and mechanical property of(Hf0.2Zr0.2Ti0.2Nb0.2Ta0.2)N high-entropy bulk ceramic via silicon carbide addition

In this work,high-entropy composite bulk ceramic of(Hf0.2Zr0.2Ti0.2Nb0.2Ta0.2)N/silicon carbide(HEN–SiC)was fabricated via spark plasma sintering(SPS)at 2100℃with submicron-sized single-phase(Hf0.2Zr0.2Ti0.2Nb0.2Ta0.2)N(HEN)powder as a raw material and SiC particles as a sintering *** crystal structure,phase composition,and grain size/morphology of the composite were characterized by X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy,transmission electron microscopy,and energy dispersive *** relative density and mechanical properties(i.e.,bending strength,Vickers hardness,and fracture toughness)of the composite bulk ceramics were *** results show that the relative density of the composite bulk ceramics with increasing SiC particle content from 0 to 10.0 wt%increases from 93.08%±0.13%to 99.12%±0.12%.The high-entropy composite bulk ceramic with SiC particle content of 10.0 wt%exhibits the optimum mechanical properties(i.e.,Vickers hardness of 23.34±0.67 GPa,fracture toughness of 4.35±0.13 MPa·m1/2,and bending strength of 409±11 MPa)compared with the ceramic without SiC particles(i.e.,Vickers hardness of 19.16±0.56 GPa,fracture toughness of 3.78±0.09 MPa·m1/2,and bending strength of 335±11 MPa).These results indicate that SiC particles can be distributed and fill the HEN grain boundaries in the ceramic matrix,promoting composite densification via pinning grain boundaries and inhibiting grain *** enhanced fracture toughness can be due mainly to fine-grain toughening in addition to lamellar/chain structure *** use of SiC as a sintering aid can promote the densification and fracture toughness of high-entropy nitride bulk ceramics,providing a promising approach for the preparation of high-density,high-performance high-entropy nitride bulk ceramics.

Multivariate synergy for heightening ionic HOF robustness and proton conductivity
