OBJECTIVE:To study the efficacy of Xiaoyao capsule(逍遥丸)in improving the clinical symptoms of sleep and mood disorders during recovery from coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19).METHODS:The study cohort comprised 200 patients with sleep and mood disorders during recovery from COVID-19.Patients were randomized into the control group and the experimental group in a 1:1 ratio by blocked randomization.The patients received either Xiaoyao capsule(experimental group)or a placebo Xiaoyao capsule(control group)for 2 weeks.The improvements in the Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)syndrome scales,total effective rates,and disappearance rates of irritability,anxiety,and poor sleep were compared between the two groups.RESULTS:The TCM syndrome pattern scales,total effective rates,and disappearance rates of irritability,anxiety,and poor sleep did not significantly differ between the experimental group versus the control group in the full analysis set and the per protocol set after 1 and 2 weeks of treatment(P>0.05).CONCLUSIONS:Xiaoyao capsule do not significantly improve the clinical symptoms of sleep and mood disorders in patients in recovery from COVID-19.

为了缓解“黑洞效应”对行车安全的不利影响,采用现场测量试验和仿真模拟相结合的方法,研究隧道入口段彩色路面对其照明亮度的影响规律。研究结果表明:不同颜色彩色路面对隧道入口段整体环境的亮度均造成不同程度的提升,其中黄色路面提升效果最明显;隧道入口段高压钠灯提供的环境、路面亮度均比LED灯高;布灯间距对亮度有显著影响,但其增加并未与彩色路面亮度提升成比例关系。研究结果可为高速公路隧道工程的明色化路面设计提供参考。

Bacterial Community Structure of Sediment in Upstream Ecological Wetland of Guanting Reservoir under the Action of Different Plants in Winter

In order to study the effect of reed and cattail on the bacterial community structure of surface sediments of wetland in winter,highthroughput sequencing technology was used to analyze the bacterial composition. The results showed that 134 228 high-quality gene sequences were obtained by high-throughput sequencing in sediments of natural wetland in winter,and there were 13 866 OTUs,in which the number of OUT in sediments of reed wetland and cattail wetland was 6 677 and 7 189 respectively. The richness and diversity of bacterial communities in sediments of cattail wetland in winter were higher than those in sediments of reed wetland. Relative abundance of Proteobacteria in sediments of reed wetland and cattail wetland was 0. 54 and 0. 52,respectively. The dominant classes of bacteria were Betaproteobacteria,Deltaproteobacteria,Gammaproteobacteria and Epsilonproteobacteria,which belonged to gram-negative bacteria,indicating that the rhizosphere of wetland was easier to enrich gram-negative bacteria. Under the genus level,the dominant bacteria in the sediments were not obvious.

This experiment studies the influence of main climatic factors on the structure of grassland plant community under different grazing intensities, determines the influence of climatic factors on the quantitative characteristics of meadow steppe community structure changes, and explores the response and adaptation of meadow steppe biodiversity and ecosystem functions to climate changes, so as to provide a reference and basis for rational utilization and management of natural grassland and prediction of development trend of meadow steppe under global climate changes. The results showed that the correlations between grassland community characteristic index and different climatic factors were significantly different under different grazing intensities. The average temperature and annual precipitation in the critical period were the main climatic factors affecting the changes in meadow steppe community characteristics, and the sensitivity of community indexes to the changes in average temperature of the critical period was greater than that to the changes in annual precipitation. The aboveground biomass of zero grazing and moderate grading was positively correlated with the average temperature and annual precipitation during the critical period, and the correlations between aboveground biomass and environmental factors were no significant under heavy grazing.

The efficacy of interferon (IFN) is limited in about 1/3 of patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB). We used two-dimensional electrophoresis (2-DE)-based proteomic strategies to identify potential serum markers predicting hepatitis B e antigen (HBeAg) seroconversion in these patients during IFN therapy. Two groups of patients were enrolled: training and validation. In the training group, 2-DE experiments and subsequent identification of altered levels of proteins showed that α-2-HS-glycoprotein, leucine-rich α-2-glycoprotein, and haptoglobin were significantly upregulated as compared with baseline levels in the HBeAg seroconversion group, whereas apolipoprotein C-III precursor, leucine-rich α-2-glycoprotein, and α-albumin were downregulated in the non-seroconversion group. For patients with HBeAg seroconversion in the training group, Western blot analyses showed that α-2-HS-glycoprotein levels in 75% of patients were significantly upregulated at the end of the treatment as compared with baseline levels. Subsequent experiments in the validation group showed that α-2-HS-glycoprotein levels were significantly increased at week 4 in 83.33% of patients in the HBeAg seroconversion group. Dynamic changes in the serum level of α-2-HS-glycoprotein may be a potential early marker for predicting HBeAg seroconversion during IFN treatment for CHB.

Distribution of Traditional Chinese Medicine syndromes in diabetic kidney disease chronic kidney disease 1-5: a correlation study

OBJECTIVE: To analyze the distribution of Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) syndromes in patients with diabetic kidney disease(DKD) and its related factors.METHODS: We enrolled 435 patients with DKD, who were not undergoing dialysis, admitted to the Department of Nephrology, First Medical Center, Chinese PLA General Hospital from April 2020 to August 2021.Analysis of their TCM syndromes and related factors was carried out.RESULTS: The 435 patients included 109, 117, 86, and 123 chronic kidney disease(CKD) 1-2, CKD3, CKD4, and CKD5 cases, respectively. With the progression of CKD1-5, the proportion of Yin deficiency and dry heat syndrome,and that of Qi and Yin deficiency syndrome showed a downward trend, whereas the proportion of spleen-kidney Yang deficiency, blood deficiency, blood stasis, water stagnation, and phlegm turbidity syndromes showed an upward trend; the differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that Yin deficiency and dry heat syndrome was positively correlated with hemoglobin [odds ratio(OR) =1.022, P = 0.005], albumin(OR = 1.058, P = 0.006), and estimated glomerular filtration rate(eGFR)(OR = 1.020,P < 0.001) but negatively correlated with male sex(OR =0.277, P = 0.004). Qi and Yin deficiency syndrome was positively correlated with albumin(OR = 1.056, P < 0.001)and eGFR(OR = 1.008, P = 0.022) but negatively correlated with age(OR = 0.977, P = 0.023). Liver-kidney Yin deficiency syndrome was positively correlated with age(OR = 1.028, P = 0.021) and glycosylated hemoglobin(OR = 1.223, P = 0.007) but negatively correlated with total cholesterol(OR = 0.792, P = 0.006).Spleen-kidney Yang deficiency syndrome was negatively correlated with hemoglobin(OR = 0.977, P < 0.001),albumin(OR = 0.891, P < 0.001), and eGFR(OR = 0.978,P < 0.001) but positively correlated with high density lipoprotein(OR = 3.376, P = 0.001). An M/G/1 retrial queue with two-phase service and feedback is studied in this paper, where the server is subject to starting failures and breakdowns during service. Primary customers get in the system according to a Poisson process, and they will receive service immediately if the server is available upon arrival. Otherwise, they will enter a retrial orbit and are queued in the orbit in accordance with a first-come-first-served （FCFS） discipline. Customers are allowed to balk and renege at particular times. All customers demand the first “essential” service, whereas only some of them demand the second “multi-optional” service. It is assumed that the retrial time, service time and repair time of the server are all arbitrarily distributed. The necessary and sufficient condition for the system stability is derived. Using a supplementary variable method, the steady-state solutions for some queueing and reliability measures of the system are obtained.

An M/G/1 retrial queue with a first-come-first-served (FCFS) orbit,general retrial time,two-phase service and server breakdown is investigated in this paper.Customers are allowed to balkand renege at particular times.Assume that the customers who find the server busy are queued inthe orbit in accordance with an FCFS discipline.All customers demand the first 'essential' service,whereas only some of them demand the second 'optional' service,and the second service is multi-optional.During the service,the server is subject to breakdown and repair.Assume that the retrialtime,the service time,and the repair time of the server are all arbitrarily distributed.By using thesupplementary variables method,the authors obtain the steady-state solutions for both queueing andreliability measures of interest.
