B2-CuZr phase reinforced amorphous alloy matrix composites has become one of the research hotspots in the field of materials science due to the“transformation-induced plasticity”phenomenon,which makes the composites show better macroscopic plastic deformability and obvious work-hardening behavior compared to the conventional amorphous alloy matrix composites reinforced with ductile ***,the in-situ metastable B2-CuZr phase tends to undergo eutectoid decomposition during solidification,and the volume fraction,size,and distribution of B2-CuZr phase are difficult to control,which limits the development and application of these *** date,much efforts have been made to solve the above problems through composition optimization,casting parameter tailoring,and post-processing *** this study,a review was given based on relevant studies,focusing on the predictive approach,reinforcing mechanism,and microstructure tailoring methods of B2-CuZr phase reinforced amorphous alloy matrix *** research focus and future prospects were also given for the future development of the present composite system.

Landslides triggered by seismic activity have led to substantial human and economic ***,the fundamental physical mechanisms underlying the vibration and rupture of rock slopes during earthquakes remain poorly *** this study,finite element method-based numerical simulations were conducted based on the rock slope at Dagangshan Hydropower Station in Sichuan province,***,systematic analysis in both the time and frequency domains were performed to examine the seismic dynamic characteristics of the ***,the transfer function method and the multiple stepwise linear regression method were employed to clarify the underlying mechanism and determine critical factors influencing the slope instability during ***-domain analysis reveals that rock slope dynamic response exhibits notable elevation,surface,and local amplification ***,the Peak Ground Acceleration(PGA)amplification coefficient(MPGA)is significantly higher at elevated locations,near the slope surface and in areas with ***,the existence of fracture zones and anti-shear galleries minimally influences the dynamic responses but considerably affect the ***,fracture zones exacerbate rupture,while anti-shear galleries mitigate ***-domain analysis indicates that the dynamic responses of the slope are closely correlated with the degree of slope *** earthquake magnitude increases,the rupture degree of the slope intensifies,and the dominant frequency of the response within the slope decreases,e.g.,its value shifts from 3.63 to 2.75 Hz at measurement point 9near the slope *** transfer function of rock slope,calculated under the excitation of wide flat spectrum white noise can reflect the interrelationships between the inherent properties and the rupture ***,the peak of the transfer function undergoes inversion as the degree of rupture ***,through multiple stepwise li

The concept of synthetic lethality(SL)has been successfully used for targeted *** further explore SL for cancer therapy,identifying more SL interactions with therapeutic potential are ***,graph neural network-based deep learning methods have been proposed for SL prediction,which reduce the SL search space of wet-lab based ***,these methods ignore that most SL interactions depend strongly on genetic context,which limits the application of the predicted *** this study,we proposed a graph recurrent network-based model for specific context-dependent SL prediction(SLGRN).In particular,we introduced a Graph Recurrent Network-based encoder to acquire a context-specific,low-dimensional feature representation for each node,facilitating the prediction of novel *** leveraged gate recurrent unit(GRU)and it incorporated a context-dependent-level state to effectively integrate information from all *** a result,SLGRN outperforms the state-of-the-arts models for SL *** subsequently validate novel SL interactions under different contexts based on combination therapy or patient survival *** in vitro experiments and retrospective clinical analysis,we emphasize the potential clinical significance of this context-specific SL prediction model.

＜正＞The thalamo -cortical network is a critical loop in seizure activity ***,the functional connectivity patterns in the thalamo - cortical network in idiopathic generalized epilepsy（IGE） patients and the differences in the thalamo - cortical network between IGE patients and normal subjects had not previously been *** purpose of this study was to map the organizational relationship between the thalamus and the cortex in IGE using functional connectivity *** functional connectivity was identified by comparing the correlation coefficients of the connectivities between the thalamus and other brain areas for 14 IGE patients with only generalized tonic - clonic seizures,as classified according to the International League against Epilepsy,with those of a group of age - and gender - matched,healthy *** with normal subjects,we found that the subjects with IGE showed increased functional connectivity between the thalamus and parietal - frontal associated regions,but decreased functional connectivity between the thalamus and the *** findings indicate that the thalamo - cortical network plays an important role in paradoxical discharge in *** addition to increasing our comprehension of the pathology of idiopathic generalized epilepsy,understanding these changes in the thalamo - cortical network may have future applications in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of this disease.

As a prerequisite for sexual reproduction,gametophyte development is an interesting process involving cell proliferation,differentiation and *** has been extensively explored in model plants,but the regulatory mechanism of gametophyte development largely remains unknown in Cucurbitaceae *** present study,we have shown that watermelon ClBBM and ClPLT2,two AP2/ERF transcription factors,participated in both male and female gametophyte *** and Clplt2 single mutants resembled wild-type phenotypes in both vegetative and reproductive *** Clbbm/Clplt2 double mutant showed partial pollen abortion and bore less seeds comparing to *** results indicated that the abnormal pollen grains were caused by premature tapetum degeneration,and reduced seed-set was due to faulty embryo sac *** and ClPLT2 were expressed in FG4 embryo sacs,and their transcripts were also detectable in the tapetum and microspore of stage 9 anthers,which was consistent with developmental stages of defective phenotypes observed in double *** expression of genes essential for tapetum development,ClATM1,ClAMS,ClMS1 and ClMS188,was decreased in Clbbm/Clplt2 double ***,the transcriptome analysis indicated that ClBBM and ClPLT2 participated in tapetum and pollen wall development by regulate cell cycle,transmembrane transport,glucan and cellulose metabolic ***,ClBBM and ClPLT2 were functionally redundant in regulating gametophyte development in watermelon,and their functions differ from their homologous genes in model plant Arabidopsis.

Aqueous zinc-halogen batteries are promising candidates for large-scale energy storage due to their abundant resources,intrinsic safety,and high theoretical ***,the uncontrollable zinc dendrite growth and spontaneous shuttle effect of active species have prohibited their practical ***,a double-layered protective film based on zinc-ethylenediamine tetramethylene phosphonic acid(ZEA)artificial film and ZnF2-rich solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)layer has been successfully fabricated on the zinc metal anode via electrode/electrolyte synergistic *** ZEA-based artificial film shows strong affinity for the ZnF2-rich SEI layer,therefore effectively suppressing the SEI breakage and facilitating the construction of double-layered protective film on the zinc metal *** double-layered architecture not only modulates Zn2+flux and suppresses the zinc dendrite growth,but also blocks the direct contact between the metal anode and electrolyte,thus mitigating the corrosion from the active *** employing optimized metal anodes and electrolytes,the as-developed zinc-(dual)halogen batteries present high areal capacity and satisfactory cycling *** work provides a new avenue for developing aqueous zinc-(dual)halogen batteries.

Preparation of Co/S co-doped carbon catalysts for excellent methylene blue degradation

S and Co co-doped carbon catalysts were prepared via pyrolysis of MOF-71 and thiourea mixtures at 800℃at a mass ratio of MOF-71 to thiourea of 1:0.1 to effectively activate peroxymonosulfate(PMS)for methylene blue(MB)*** effects of two different mixing routes were identified on the MB degradation ***,the catalyst obtained by the alcohol solvent evaporation(MOF-AEP)mixing route could degrade 95.60%MB(50 mg/L)within 4 min(degradation rate:K=0.78 min^(-1)),which was faster than that derived from the direct grinding method(MOF-DGP,80.97%,K=0.39 min^(-1)).X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy revealed that the Co-S content of MOF-AEP(43.39at%)was less than that of MOF-DGP(54.73at%),and the proportion of C-S-C in MOF-AEP(13.56at%)was higher than that of MOF-DGP(10.67at%).Density functional theory calculations revealed that the adsorption energy of Co for PMS was -2.94 eV when sulfur was doped as C-S-C on the carbon skeleton,which was higher than that when sulfur was doped next to cobalt in the form of Co-S bond(-2.86 eV).Thus,the C-S-C sites might provide more contributions to activate PMS compared with ***,the degradation parameters,including pH and MOF-AEP dosage,were ***,radical quenching experiments and electron paramagnetic resonance(EPR)measurements revealed that ^(1)O_(2)might be the primary catalytic species,whereas·O~(2-)might be the secondary one in degrading MB.

Treating incurable non-communicable diseases by targeting iron metabolism and ferroptosis

Both iron metabolism and ferroptosis (an iron-dependent form of programmed cell death) have been connected to the development and progression of many currently incurable non-communicable diseases, including Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis,Huntington’s disease, metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis, heart failure, and both treatment-relapsed and refractory cancers,such as pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma and triple-negative breast cancer. Thus, understanding the relationship between iron and these diseases can pave the way for the development of novel therapeutic strategies. Here, we summarize the latest evidence supporting the pathological roles of dysregulated iron metabolism and ferroptosis in a wide range of preclinical animal models of these currently incurable non-communicable diseases. We also summarize the feasibility of targeting iron metabolism and ferroptosis for the prevention and treatment of iron-and ferroptosis-related diseases that currently have limited treatment options. In addition, we provide our perspectives on the challenges and promises regarding the translational potential of targeting dysregulated iron metabolism and ferroptosis to treat diseases,highlighting the future roadmap for developing iron-and ferroptosis-targeted therapeutics.
