Scutellarin alleviates complete freund’s adjuvant-induced rheumatoid arthritis in mice by regulating the Keap1/Nrf2/HO-1 pathway

Scutellarin(SCU)is a herbal flavonoid glucuronide with multiple pharmacological activities,including antioxidant,anti-inflammation,vascular relaxation,anti-platelet,and myocardial ***,the effect of SCU on complete Freund’s adjuvant(CFA)-induced rheumatoid arthritis(RA)had not been *** this study,we investigated the beneficial effects of SCU in the CFA-induced RA mice model and the anti-arthritic activity was evaluated by paw ***-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)was carried out to evaluate the plasma levels of immunoglobulin(Ig)G,IgE,tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-α,interleukin(IL)-1β,IL-6,receptor activator of nuclear factor-κB ligand(RANKL),and osteoprotegerin(OPG).Histological slides were prepared from the harvested paws of mice to determine the pathological changes in the *** proportions of T helper type 1(Th1)and T helper type 2(Th2)cells of CD4+T lymphocyte subsets were analyzed by flow *** expression of Kelch-like ECHassociated protein 1(Keap1),nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2(Nrf2),and heme oxygenase-1(HO-1)was analyzed using real-time quantitative PCR(RT-qPCR)and western blotting *** present study demonstrated that SCU prevented CFA-induced RA,and inhibited the expression of inflammation factors,IgG,IgE,TNF-α,IL-1β,and *** SCU also reduced the RANKL level,it increased OPG expression in RA *** Th1/Th2 ratio was significantly lower in mice treated with ***,HO-1 expression was reduced while the expression of Keap1 and Nrf2 was elevated following SCU *** provide preliminary evidence to employ SCU in arthritis treatment which might be related to the regulation of Th1/Th2 balance and the Keap1/Nrf2/HO-1 pathway.

A novel method for extracting skeleton of fruit treefrom 3D point clouds

Tree skeleton could be useful to agronomy researchers because the skeleton describes the shape and topological structure of a *** phenomenon of organs’mutual occlusion in fruit tree canopy is usually very serious,this should result in a large amount of data missing in directed laser scanning 3D point clouds from a fruit ***,traditional approaches can be ineffective and problematic in extracting the tree skeleton correctly when the tree point clouds contain occlusions and missing *** overcome this limitation,we present a method for accurate and fast extracting the skeleton of fruit tree from laser scanner measured 3D point *** proposed method selects the start point and endpoint of a branch from the point clouds by user’s manual interaction,then a backward searching is used to find a path from the 3D point cloud with a radius parameter as a *** experimental results in several kinds of fruit trees demonstrate that our method can extract the skeleton of a leafy fruit tree with highly accuracy.

Western grassland is the main source of living and means of production of western inhabitants. For many years, desertification and poisonous-weeds growth in grassland were resulted from over-grazing, over-reclaiming, over-spading and population growth. Western natural ecological environment is destroyed severly. Meanwhile, it has restricted the sustainable development of animal husbandry. The fast spreading poisonous-weeds, which caused grassland ecology unbalance, is one of the considerable bioecology problems and an important index of grassland degeneration. Based on analysis and induction of previous data, this article introduced the situation of poisonous-weeds disaster of western grassland in recent decades, category and distribution of poisonous-weeds, integrated control and reasonable utilization.

Synthesis,Crystal Structure and Luminescent Properties of a Novel Zinc(II) Complex of N-Acetyl-L-glutamic Acid and Imidazole Ligands

A novel complex [Zn（Im）2（A-glu）]-0.5H2O（Im = imidazole, A-glu = N-acetyi- L-glutamic acid） has been synthesized from the reaction of A-glu with Zn（CH3COO）2·2H20 in the presence of Im at 65 ℃, and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The complex crystallizes in tetragonai, space group P43212 with a = b = 8.9078（6）, c = 43.458（6） A, C26H36N10O11Zn2, Mr = 795.39, V= 3448.3（6） A^3, De = 1.532 g/cm^3, Z = 4,μ（MoKα） = 1.461 mm^-1, F（000） = 1640, the final R = 0.0453 and wR = 0.0992. X-ray analysis reveals that the crystal structure is constructed by mixed iigands. A-glu adopts the bis-monodentate coordination mode linking two adjacent metal ions to form a one-dimensional chain. Zinc（Ⅱ） ions are four-coordinated with a distorted tetrahedral geometry. Luminescent properties of the complex have been inves- tigated.

Dynamic transport characteristics of side-coupled double-quantum-impurity systems

A systematic study is performed on time-dependent dynamic transport characteristics of a side-coupled double-quantum-impurity system based on the hierarchical equations of *** is found that the transport current behaves like a single quantum dot when the coupling strength is low during tunneling or Coulomb *** the case of only tunneling transition,the dynamic current oscillates due to the temporal coherence of the electron tunneling *** oscillation frequency of the transport current is related to the step voltage applied by the lead,while temperature T,electron-electron interaction U and the bandwidth W have little *** amplitude of the current oscillation exists in positive correlation with W and negative correlation with *** the increase in coupling t_(12) between impurities,the ground state of the system changes from a Kondo singlet of one impurity to a spin singlet of two ***,lowering the temperature could promote the Kondo effect to intensify the oscillation of the dynamic *** only the Coulomb transition is coupled,it is found that the two split-off Hubbard peaks move upward and have different interference effects on the Kondo peak at the Fermi surface with the increase in U_(12),from the dynamics point of view.

Construct a 3D microsphere of HMX/B/Al/PTFE to obtain the high energy and combustion reactivity

Metal(aluminum and boron)based energetic materials have been wildly applied in various fields including aerospace,explosives and micro-devices due to their high energy ***,the low combustion efficiency and reactivity of metal fuels,especially boron(B),severely limit their practical ***,multi-component 3D microspheres of HMX/B/Al/PTFE(HBA)have been designed and successfully prepared by emulsion and solvent evaporation method to achieve superior energy and combustion *** reactivity and energy output of HBA are systematically measured by ignitionburning test,constant-volume explosion vessel system and bomb *** to the increased interfacial contact and reaction area,HBA shows higher flame propagation rate,faster pressurization rate and larger combustion heat of 29.95 cm/s,1077 kPa/s,and 6164.43 J/g,which is 1.5 times,3.5 times,and 1.03 times of the physical mixed counterpart(HBA-P).Meanwhile,HBA also shows enhanced energy output and reactivity than 3D microspheres of HMX/B/PTFE(HB)resulting from the high reactivity of *** reaction mechanism of 3D microspheres is comprehensively investigated through combustion emission spectral and thermal analysis(TG-DSC-MS).The superior reactivity and energy of HBA originate from the surface etching of fluorine to the inert shell(Al_(2)O_(3) and B_(2)O_(3))and the initiation effect of Al to *** work offers a promising approach to design and prepare high-performance energetic materials for the practical applications.

Genome triplication drove the diversification of Brassica plants

The genus Brassica belongs to the plant family Brassicaceae,which includes many important crop species that are used as oilseed,condiments,or vegetables throughout the *** plants comprise many diverse species,and each species contains rich morphotypes showing extreme *** species experienced an extra whole genome triplication(WGT)event compared with the model plant Arabidopsis *** genome sequencing of the Brassica species Brassica rapa,Brassica oleracea and others demonstrated that WGT plays an important role in the speciation and morphotype diversification of Brassica *** genomic analysis based on the genome sequences of *** and *** clearly identified the WGT event and further demonstrated that the translocated Proto-Calepine Karyotype(tPCK,n57)was the diploid ancestor of the three subgenomes in *** WGT,subsequent extensive genome fractionation,block reshuffling and chromosome reduction accompanied by paleocentromere descent from the three tPCK subgenomes during the rediploidization process produced stable diploid *** rearrangement of the diploid species and their hybridization then contributed to Brassica *** subgenome dominance effect and biased gene retention,such as the over-retention of auxin-related genes after WGT,promoted functional gene evolution and thus propelled the expansion of rich morphotypes in the Brassica *** conclusion,the WGT event initiated subsequent genomic and gene-level evolution,which further drove Brassica speciation and created rich morphotypes in each species.

Growth and Spectral Properties of Nd^(3+) Doped KLa(MoO_4)_2 Crystal

Nd^3＋ doped KLa（MoO4）2 single crystal with the size up to Ф25 × 40 mm^3 was grown by the Czochralski technique. The absorption and luminescence spectra of trivalent neodymium in KLa（MoO4）2 crystal were investigated at room temperature. The absorption and emission cross 10-20 sections are 3.02 ×10^-20 cm^2 at 808 nm and 20.01 × 10^-2 cm^2 at 1061 nm, respectively. The fluorescence lifetime is 164μs at room temperature.

ftr82 is necessary for hair cell morphogenesis and auditory function during zebrafish development

Damages of sensory hair cells(HCs)are mainly responsible for sensorineural hearing loss,while the pathological mechanism remains not fully understood due to the many potential deafness genes ***82,a member of the largely TRIMs family in fish,has been found specifically expressed in the otic vesicle while its function is still ***,we investigate the roles of ftr82 in HC development and hearing function utilizing the zebrafish *** results of in situ hybridization illustrate that ftr82 is always restricted to localize in otic vesicles at different *** defects of HCs are observed both in ftr82 morphants and mutants,including significantly decreased crista HCs,shortened cilia as well as remarkably reduced functional HCs in neuromasts,which could be successfully rescued by co-injection of exogenous ftr82 *** behavior assay of startle response indicates that larvae lacking of ftr82 exhibits lower sensitivity to external sound *** research reveals that the loss of HCs is mainly caused by cell apoptosis mediated by caspase-3 *** study demonstrates that ftr82 is a crucial hearing-related gene that regulates the HC morphogenesis and auditory function performing,which provides new insight into the rapid identification of the deafness gene.
