Based on the quantum chemical descriptors and the activities for isoprene polymerization of 12 neodymium carboxylates obtained by authors’earlier work,statistical analysis of data was made and a QSAR model correlating the quantum chemical descriptors and the activity was built with the partial least square(PLS)*** model is:A=51602εHOMO+6σ+12546,which indicates that the catalytic activity A is positively correlated with the HOMO energyεHOMOand the ligand polarizabilityσ,with the contribution ofσbeing larger,εHOMO *** model’s coefficient of determination r^2=0.96 and that of cross validation q^2=0.94,both being close to 1,which means that its quality is well and its predictive power is *** of the modeling process and the resulted QSAR model,together with the interpretation of the model’s mechanism,also shows that the model obtained from this study is valid and *** to the QSAR model,the mechanism of catalyst activity can be interpreted as that neodymium carboxylates with higher HOMO energy and larger ligand polarizability are easier to react with the co-catalysts so as to produce more active and stable centers of catalyst,resulting in a higher activity.

Embedded real-time systems employ a variety of operating system platforms. Consequently, for automatic code generation, considerable redevelopment is needed when the platform changes. This results in major challenges with respect to the automatic code generation process of the architecture analysis and design language (AADL). In this paper, we propose a method of template-based automatic code generation to address this issue. Templates are used as carriers of automatic code generation rules from AADL to the object platform. These templates can be easily modified for different platforms. Automatic code generation for different platforms can be accomplished by formulating the corresponding generation rules and transformation templates. We design a set of code generation templates from AADL to the object platform and develop an automatic code generation tool. Finally, we take a typical data processing unit (DPU) system as a case study to test the tool. It is demonstrated that the autogenerated codes can be compiled and executed successfully on the object platform.

An Edge Visual Incremental Perception Framework Based on Deep Semi-supervised Learning for Monitoring Power Transmission Lines

In recent years,several efforts have been made to develop power transmission line abnormal target detection models based on edge ***,updates to these models rely on participation of the cloud,which means that network resource shortages can lead to update failures,followed by unsatisfactory recognition and detection performance in practical *** address this problem,this article proposes an edge visual incremental perception framework,based on deep semisupervised learning,for monitoring power transmission *** generation of the initial model using a small amount of labeled data,models trained using this framework can update themselves based on unlabeled data.A teacher-student joint training strategy,a data augmentation strategy,and a model updating strategy are also designed and adopted to improve the performance of the models trained with this *** proposed framework is then examined with various transmission line datasets with 1%,2%,5%,and 10%labeled *** performance enhancement is thus confirmed against traditional supervised learning *** the 10%labeled data training set,the recognition accuracy of the model is improved to exceed 80%,meeting the practical needs of power system operation,and thus clearly validating the effectiveness of the framework.

The Sr2 CeO4:Ln3+(Ln=Eu,Dy)fine phosphor particles were prepared by a facile wet chemical approach,in which the consecutive hydrothermal-combustion reaction was *** doping of Ln3+into Sr2 CeO4 has little influence on the structure of host,and the as-prepared samples display wellcrystallized spherical or elliptical shape with an average particle size at about 100-200 *** Eu3+ions-doped Sr2 CeO4,with the increase of Eu3+-doping concentration,the blue light emission band with the maximum at 468 nm originating from a Ce4+→O2-charge transfer of the host decreases obviously and the characteristic red light emission of Eu3+(5 D0→7 F2 transition at 618 nm)is enhanced ***,the fluorescent lifetime of the broadband emission of Sr2 CeO4 decreases with the doping of Eu3+,indicating an efficient energy transfer from the host to the doping Eu3+*** ene rgy transfer efficiency from the host to Eu3+was investigated in detail,and the emitting color of Sr2 CeO4:Eu3+can be easily tuned from blue to red by varying the doping concentration of Eu3+***,the luminescence of Dy3+-doped Sr2 CeO4 was also *** energy transfer pheno menon can be observed,and the incorporation of Dy3+into Sr2 CeO4 host leads to the characteristic emission of 4 F9/2→6 H15/2(488 nm,blue light)and 4 F9/2→6 H13/2(574 nm,yellow light)of Dy3+.The Sr2 CeO4:Ln3+fine particles with tunable luminescence are quite beneficial for its potential applications in the optoelectronic fields.

Deep Mechanical Background for the Cenozoic Volcanism in the Tibetan Plateau

The principle prerequisite for the formation of a volcano is the generation of a channel for magma transportation. There is little research on the deep mechanical mechanism for the formation of a magma transportation channel in the Tibetan plateau. Based on the subcrustal mantle convectiongenerated stress field inversed by gravity anomalies, together with its relationship to the Cenozoic volcanism in the plateau, and the mechanism of crustal fracture formation, as well as the numerical results of the evolution of mantle convection beneath the plateau, this paper investigates the deep mechanical mechanism for the formation of a magma transportation channel in the Tibetan plateau. There are two significant extensional convection-generated stress zones beneath the plateau, in which the volcanic rocks in the central and northern parts of the plateau are distributed. The Linzizong volcanism in southern Tibet correlates the upwelling mantle flow prior to the India-Asia collision or during the early stage of the collision. The magnitude of the stress is - 100 MPa, which is the same order of force that causes crustal fractures. The evidence implies that the mantle convection-generated stress is one of the principle causes of crustal fractures, and furthermore, the formation of the magma transportation channel in the Tibetan plateau.

The design and fabrication of rare earth ions incorporated into the inorganic/organic hybrid materials have attracted growing attention for seeking improved optical properties and photofunctional *** this paper,a novel hybrid composite based on the layered rare earth hydroxides was successfully prepared by the ion-exchange and intercalation chemical *** rare earth elements in the composite contain gadolinium(Gd)and europium(Eu)and the molar ratio of Gd to Eu is kept constant at 1.9:*** sodium dodecyl sulfonate and dye coumarin-3-carboxyllc acid are simultaneously incorporated into the layered rare earth hydroxides as supporting agent and light-harvesting antenna,*** resulting hybrid layered rare earth hydroxides exhibit the enlarged interlayer distance with about 2.60 nm,and the chemical composition was confirmed through X-ray diffraction,carbon,hydrogen and nitrogen(CHN)elemental analysis,infrared spectroscopy,and thermogravimetric *** layered solid compound shows the characteristic red emission corresponding to the^(5)D_(0)→^(7)F_(2)transition of Eu^(3+)ion,and the luminescence intensity of the optimized compound is greatly enhanced as compared to its corresponding nitrate and the hybrid composite without the introduction of dye *** hybrid layered rare earth hydroxides can be exfoliated into bright colloidal solution,which show superior recognition capability to Cu^(2+)ion with the distinct luminescence *** large quenching constant(1.4×10^(4)L/mol)and low detection limit(0.35μmol/L)are achieved for Cu^(2+)ion,implying a"turn-off"fluorescent sensor for Cu^(2+)***,a transparent film was prepared based on the colloidal solution and displays the typical red emission in folded *** new hybrid compound with enhanced luminescence and excellent photofunctional performances is expected to be applied in the fields of fluorescent sensing and flexible optical devices.

The technology of Ultra-High Voltage （UHV） transmission requires higher dependability for electric power grid. Power Grid Communication Networking （PGCN）, the fundamental information infrastructure, severs data transmission including control signal, protection signal, and common data services. Dependability is the necessary requirement to ensure services timely and accurately. Dependability analysis aims to predicate operation status and provide suitable strategies getting rid of the potential dangers. Due to the dependability of PGCN may be affected by external environment, devices quality, implementation strategies, and so on, the scale explosion and the structure complexity make the PGCN＇s dependability much challenging. In this paper, with the observation of interdependency between power grid and PGCN, we propose an electricity services based dependability analysis model of PGCN. The model includes methods of analyzing its dependability and procedures of designing the dependable strategies. We respectively discuss the deterministic analysis method based on matrix analysis and stochastic analysis model based on stochastic Petri nets.

Continuous tailward flow in the near-Earth magnetotail observed by TC-1 satellite

On July 11, 2004, a substorm process in the period of continuous tailward flow was observed by the joint exploration of the TC-1, IMAGE and ACE satellites. The substorm observed by the TC-1 in the near-Earth has three stages: the growth phase (from 11:43 to 12:19), the pre-expansion process (from 12:19 to 12:28) and the dipolarization process. The auroral brightening was at 12:26 recorded by the FUV instrument on IMAGE, and the dipolarization occurred two minutes later. During the 45 min period of the tailward flow, the magnetotail experienced the growth phase and the pre-expansion process. When the dipolarization process began, the TC-1 entered the plasma sheet and observed a high speed earthward flow. The field-aligned tailward flow is characterized by the low temperature and high density, which is consistent with the properties of the flow from the ionosphere detected in the near-Earth magnetotail by other satellites. The tailward flow is closely related with the southward interplanetary magnetic field (IMF), and may have an important effect on the substorm.

The distribution characteristics of the flows in the near-Earth region: TC-1 observational results

TC-1 observational results clearly indicate that the velocity of the flows in the near-Earth region is de- pendent on the satellite location. The flow speed decreases while satellite moves close to the Earth. The plasma flow in the region close to the Earth tends to drift into the midnight region from the dawn and dusk region while the flow in the region away from the Earth shows an opposite drift. The obser- vational results also show that the tailward flows are mainly located in the plasma sheet boundary while the earthward flow becomes dominant in the plasma sheet. It is found that both the strong tailward and earthward flows are distributed in the region around X= -11Re, which coincides with the trigger region of the substorm onset. Hence, it may suggest that the flows are related with the trigger of the substorm onset. In addition, the BBFs coming from the mid-tail maily distributed in the region where X<-9RE and |Z|<3RE that differs from the convection.
