"Carbon peaking and carbon neutrality"is an essential national strategy,and the geological storage and utilization of CO_(2)is a hot issue ***,due to the scarcity of pure CO_(2)gas sources in China and the high cost of CO_(2)capture,CO_(2)-rich industrial waste gas(CO_(2)-rich IWG)is gradually emerging into the public's ***_(2)has good adsorption properties on shale surfaces,but acidic gases can react with shale,so the mechanism of the CO_(2)-rich IWG-water-shale reaction and the change in reservoir properties will determine the stability of geological ***,based on the mineral composition of the Longmaxi Formation shale,this study constructs a thermodynamic equilibrium model of water-rock reactions and simulates the regularity of reactions between CO_(2)-rich IWG and shale *** results indicate that CO_(2)consumed 12%after reaction,and impurity gases in the CO_(2)-rich IWG can be dissolved entirely,thus demonstrating the feasibility of treating IWG through water-rock *** IWG inhibits the dissolution of CO_(2),the optimal composition of CO_(2)-rich IWG is 95%CO_(2)and 5%IWG when CO_(2)geological storage is the main *** contrast,when the main goal is the geological storage of total CO_(2)-rich IWG or impurity gas,the optimal CO_(2)-rich IWG composition is 50%CO_(2)and 50%*** the CO_(2)-rich IWG-water-shale reaction,temperature has less influence on the water-rock reaction,while pressure is the most important ***2 has the greatest impact on water-rock reaction in *** minerals,clay minerals such as illite and montmorillonite had a significant effect on water-rock *** overall reaction is dominated by precipitation and the volume of the rock skeleton has increased by 0.74 cm3,resulting in a decrease in shale porosity,which enhances the stability of CO_(2)geological storage to some *** the reaction between CO_(2)-rich IWG-water-shale at simulated temperatures and pressures,precipitation

The electric submersible pump(ESP) is a crucial apparatus utilized for lifting in the oil extraction *** lifting capacity is enhanced by the multi-stage tandem structure, but variations in energy characteristics and internal flow across stages are also introduced. In this study, the inter-stage variability of energy characteristics in ESP hydraulic systems is investigated through entropy production(EP) analysis,which incorporates numerical simulations and experimental validation. The EP theory facilitates the quantification of energy loss in each computational subdomain at all ESP stages, establishing a correlation between microscopic flow structure and energy dissipation within the system. Furthermore, the underlying causes of inter-stage variability in ESP hydraulic systems are examined, and the advantages and disadvantages of applying the EP theory in this context are evaluated. Consistent energy characteristics within the ESP, aligned with the distribution of internal flow structure, are provided by the EP theory, as demonstrated by our results. The EP theory also enables the quantitative analysis of internal flow losses and complements existing performance analysis methods to map the internal flow structure to hydraulic losses. Nonetheless, an inconsistency between the energy characterization based on EP theory and the traditional efficiency index when reflecting inter-stage differences is identified. This inconsistency arises from the exclusive focus of the EP theory on flow losses within the flow field, disregarding the quantification of external energy input to the flow field. This study provides a reference for the optimization of EP theory in rotating machinery while deeply investigating the energy dissipation characteristics of multistage hydraulic system, which has certain theoretical and practical significance.

Superhydrophilic surfaces have been applied for supercapacitor;however,during energy storage reaction,how the wettability affects the process of electrochemical reaction specifically is still ***,we demonstrate superhydrophilic surface for promotion of electrochemical reactions by liquid affinity and further explain the mechanism,where the transition of the wettability state caused by the change in surface free energy is the main reason for the obvious increase in specific *** citric acid assistance strategy,an intrinsically hydrophobic Ni(Oh)_(2)thick nanosheets(hNhTNs,16 nm)can be transitioned into superhydrophilic Ni(Oh)_(2)ultrathin nanosheets(SNhUNs,6.8 nm),where the water contact angle was 0°and the surface free energy increased from 8.6to 65.8 mN·m^(-1),implying *** with hNhTNs,the specific capacitance of SNhUNs is doubled:from 1230 F·g^(-1)(hNhTNs)to 2350 F·g^(-1)(2A·g^(-1))and,even at 20 A·g^(-1),from 833 F·g^(-1)(hNhTNs)to 1670 F·g^(-1).The asymmetric capacitors assembled by SNhUNs and activated carbon show 52.44 Wh·kg^(-1)at 160W·kg^(-1)and excellent stability with~90%retention after5000 cycles(~80%retention after 9500 cycles).The promotion of electrochemical performances is ascribed to the change of surface wettability caused by surface free energy,which greatly increase affinity of electrode to the surrounding liquid environment to reduce the interface resistance and optimize the electron transport path.

Carbon dioxide fixation presents a potential solution for mitigating the greenhouse gas *** carbon dioxide fixation,C1 compound reduction requires a high energy *** calculations suggest that the energy source for cofactor regeneration plays a vital role in the effective enzymatic C1 *** utilizes renewable hydrogen to achieve the regeneration and supply cofactor nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide(NADh),providing a driving force for the reduction reaction to reduce the thermodynamic barrier of the reaction cascade,and making the forward reduction pathway thermodynamically *** on the regeneration of cofactor NADh by hydrogenase,and coupled with formaldehyde dehydrogenase and formolase,a favorable thermodynamic mode of the C1 reduction pathway for reducing formate to dihydroxyacetone(DhA)was designed and *** resulted in accumulation of 373.19μmol·L^(-1) DhA after 2 h,and conversion reaching 7.47%.These results indicate that enzymatic utilization of hydrogen as the electron donor to regenerate NADh is of great significance to the sustainable and green development of bio-manufacturing because of its high economic efficiency,no by-products,and environment-friendly ***,formolase efficiently and selectively fixed the intermediate formaldehyde(FALD)to DhA,thermodynamically pulled formate to efficiently reduce to DhA,and finally stored the low-grade renewable energy into chemical energy with high energy density.

Poly(diethyl fumarate-co-methoxyethyl acrylate-co-vinyl chloroacetate)(PDEFMV),a novel bio-based elastomer with a saturated structure,was synthesized via redox emulsion *** glass-transition temperatures of PDEFMV,adjusted through the variation of the diethyl fumarate-to-methoxyethyl acrylate feeding ratio,ranged from-36.1 to-14.8 ℃.The number-average molecular weights of PDEFMV ranged from 384,000 to 46,000 g/*** designing the molecular structure,vinyl chloroacetate was used to provide active sites for subsequent vulcanization and *** active chlorine groups within the PDEFMV chain reacted with the crosslinking agent trithiocyanuric acid under high temperature and pressure to form a nonsulfur crosslinked three-dimensional network *** achieve the desired properties,carbon black(CB,N330) was incorporated to reinforce PDEFMV,leading to the formation of PDEFMV/CB composites.A comprehensive study was conducted on the high-temperature oil resistance of PDEFMV/CB *** immersion in IRM903 oil at temperatures of 150 and 200 ℃ for 72 h,the mass and volume changes in PDEFMV/CB were lower than those observed in commercially available acrylate rubber(AR)/CB,indicating that PDEFMV exhibited superior oil ***,the aging characteristics and mechanisms of oil resistance in the PDEFMV/CB and AR/CB composites were investigated at different temperatures(150,200,and 250 ℃).The results provide insights into the operational temperature ranges suitable for PDEFMV/CB and offer valuable guidance for potential industrial applications.

Internal waves transport material and energy from the upper water column to the deep ocean, disturbing seabed sediments and resulting in phenomena such as seabed erosion and changes in topography. On the northern slope of the South China Sea and in many coastal margins worldwide, the zones with internal wave action closely overlap with areas where natural gas hydrates are present. however, due to significant differences in the spatial and temporal scales, understanding the influence of internal waves on methane releases from deep seabeds is challenging. In this study, in situ observations of seabed microseismicity and internal waves are conducted at water depths of 655 meters and 1450 meters in the Pearl River Canyon of the South China Sea. The microseismicity caused by internal waves and seabed methane releases is identified, and a method to establish the correlation between internal waves and seabed methane releases through the use of microseismic recordings is proposed, aiming to obtain direct observational evidence of internal waves intensifying seabed methane releases. The results show that internal waves and seabed methane releases generate significant microseismic signals, indicating the continuous influence of internal waves on the deep seabed of the northern slope of the South China Sea and revealing active methane release phenomena on the seabed. At both long and short time scales, internal waves increase the frequency of seabed methane releases by 4.2 times and 2.4 times, respectively, while also enhancing the intensity of these releases. These changes are influenced by the alterations in seabed flow velocity, pressure, and temperature that are induced by internal wave activities. This study emphasizes that microseismic signals are effective carriers of information for multiscale geological processes on seabeds and suggests that internal waves exacerbate marine geological hazards and contribute to global climate change by intensifying seabed methane relea
