By applying the path-integral formulation and the Feynman theorem, we calculate the off-diagonal superconducting correlation in an ultrasmall metallic grain. Unlike its behavior in the bulk limit, we find that this correlation function is an intensive quantity in this case. Therefore, superconductivity is indeed completely suppressed by quantum fluctuations as the diameter of the grain shrinks to the nanometer scale. This conclusion confirms the previous results by numerical calculations. Furthermore, it also imposes a strong constraint on the delocalizing amplitude of the pair-mixing function, which was recently proposed to characterize superconductivity in the canonical *** numbers: ***, ***, 74.80.

涝渍胁迫是造成甘薯产量下降的重要原因之一,但不同生育期涝渍胁迫对甘薯生长发育及产量的影响尚未见报道。为此,于2022—2023年以渝红心薯98为试验材料在人工控水条件下进行不同时期的涝渍胁迫处理。设置全生育期正常浇水(CK,对照)、薯蔓并长期涝渍胁迫(T1)、块根盛长期涝渍胁迫(T2)、薯蔓并长期与块根盛长期均涝渍胁迫(T3)4个处理,探究不同生育期涝渍胁迫对甘薯抗逆生理特性与产量的影响。结果表明,涝渍胁迫条件下,甘薯根冠比、功能叶相对含水量下降,脯氨酸、可溶性糖含量增加,CAT、POD、SOD活性显著提高。涝渍胁迫改变了甘薯同化产物在地上部与地下部间的分配,使得地上部徒长而地下部发育受抑制,最终导致2022年及2023年块根产量较对照分别显著降低22.67%、40.05%、66.93%和31.20%、40.80%、64.60%。薯蔓并长期和块根盛长期均发生涝渍对甘薯生长发育影响最为显著。与薯蔓并长期相比,块根盛长期对涝渍响应更为敏感,且复水后恢复甘薯生长的能力更弱。

To determine the genetic diversity and population structure of sweet potato accessions cultivated in China, and to establish the genetic relationships among their germplasm types, a representative collection of 240 accessions was analyzed using inter-simple sequence repeat （ISSR） markers. The mean genetic similarity coefifcient, Nei’s gene diversity, and shared allele distance of tested sweet potato accessions were 0.7302, 0.3167 and 0.2698, respectively. The 240 accessions could be divided into six subgroups and ifve subpopulations based on neighbor-joining （NJ） clustering and STRUCTURE results, and obvious genetic relationships among the tested sweet potato accessions were identiifed. The marker-based NJ clustering and population structure showed no distinct assignment pattern corresponding to lfesh color or geographical ecotype of the tested sweet potato germplasm. Analysis of molecular variance （AMOVA） revealed small but signiifcant difference between white and orange-lfeshed sweet potato accessions. Small but signiifcant difference were also observed among sweet potato accessions from the Southern summer-autumn sweet potato region, the Yellow River Basin spring and summer sweet potato region and the Yangtze River Basin summer sweet potato region. This study demonstrates that genetic diversity in the tested sweet potato germplasm collection in China is lower than that in some reported sweet potato germplasm collections from other regions. Pedigree investigations suggest that more diverse Chinese sweet potato varieties should be formed by broadening the selection scope of breeding parents and incorporating the introduced varieties into future breeding programs.

Objective We aimed to assess the features of notifiable infectious diseases found commonly in foreign nationals in China between 2004 and 2017 to improve public health policy and responses for infectious *** We performed a descriptive study of notifiable infectious diseases among foreigners reported from 2004 to 2017 in China using data from the Chinese National Notifiable Infectious Disease Reporting System(NNIDRIS). Demographic, temporal-spatial distribution were described and *** A total of 67,939 cases of 33 different infectious diseases were reported among *** diseases were seen in 31 provinces of China and originated from 146 countries of the world. The infectious diseases with the highest incidence number were human immunodeficiency virus(HIV) of18,713 cases, hepatitis B(6,461 cases), hand, foot, and mouth disease(6,327 cases). Yunnan province had the highest number of notifiable infectious diseases in foreigners. There were different trends of the major infectious diseases among foreign cases seen in China and varied among *** This is the first description of the epidemiological characteristic of notifiable infectious diseases among foreigners in China from 2004 to 2017. These data can be used to better inform policymakers about national health priorities for future research and control strategies.

Mercury contents and potential exposure risk of rice-containing food products

Mercury(Hg),especially methylmercury(MeHg),accumulation in rice grain due to rice paddy possessing conditions conducive to Hg methylation has led to human Hg exposure through consumption of rice-based daily *** addition to being a food staple,rice is widely used as a raw material to produce a vast variety of processed food *** is known about Hg levels in snacking rice-food products and potential Hg exposure from consumption of them,besides previous studies on infant rice *** to provide complementary information for a more complete assessment on Hg exposure risk originated from Hgcontaining rice,this study determined total Hg(THg)and MeHg levels in 195 rice-containing and rice-free processed food products covering all major types of snack foods marketed in China and the estimated daily intake(EDI)of dietary Hg from the consumption of these *** results clearly showed THg and MeHg contents in rice-containing foods were significantly higher than rice-free products,suggesting the transfer of Hg and MeHg from the rice to the end products,even after manufacturing ***,significant positive correlations were observed between THg,MeHg,or MeHg/THg ratio and rice content for samples containing multiple grains as ingredients,further indicating the deciding role of rice for Hg levels in the end food *** the EDI of THg and MeHg via ricebased food products were relatively low compared to the reference dose,it should be considered these snacking food products would contribute additive Hg intake outside of the daily regular meals.

In this paper,low-temperature dielectric-blocked discharge plasma （DBD） was employed for the first time to treat silica-doped H4PMo11VO40（HPAV） catalysts (DBD（Ar/x）-MF-Catal) and apply them in the catalytic methacrolein （MAL） selective oxidation to produce methacrylic acid （MAA）.This work investigates in detail the controllable regulation of the concentration of oxidation states on silica-doped HPAV catalysts by adjusting the DBD discharge with controlled changes in voltage,current,treatment time,and treatment *** reports the intrinsic correlation between oxidation states and MAL oxidation *** research results indicated that the catalytic performance was related to the presence of oxygen vacancies and oxygen species (VO2+),and are the main reason for the selective oxidation of MAL to ***,the generation of oxygen vacancies and VO2+altered localized electrons,which resulted in the easier activation of *** calculations of DFT also proved the formation mechanism of oxygen vacancies and VO2+and electron properties on high-performance polymers,which elucidated the intrinsic influence of catalyst *** DBD（Ar/10）-MF-Catal catalysts with suitable VO2+and oxygen vacancy concentrations exhibited the highest catalytic performance with 90%MAL conversion and 70%MAA selectivity and showed good stability （500 h）.
